Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Well dd woke me up at 4:30 for a feed so I poas and again I think there was a faint bfp but again I'm not sure. Will poas again tomorrow and if I'm still dithering then I will go and get a digital test.

Laura - the day before I found out I was pg with dd I went to a huge reunion ball with uni friends. I had an inkling that I may have been pg and I spent the whole evening sipping from the same glass of wine! I had only drunk half of it by the end of the night and nobody noticed :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 08:34

Oooh ellesabe how exciting!! Tomorrow is so long to wait! Really hope you get a v strong line.

bettybat · 08/02/2012 08:38

If I've learnt anything these last couple of months, it's that anything I might be feeling in my lower half is probably not a pregnancy symptom :0 Last month, I would have put my month's salary on it, I was that convinced I was pregnant so you know...I realise now how utterly bonkers your body can drive you. EVERYTHING will be trapped wind until I know otherwise.

I'm also not going to drive myself nuts and test early. AF is so random right now, there doesn't seem any sense in testing at CD30 because AF hasn't arrived, getting a BFN, getting confused and all for AF to arrive at CD 33 Hmm

See? Smarter than a monkey Wink

bettybat · 08/02/2012 08:39

Ellesabe! WOW! Is it digital test time yet??

ellesabe · 08/02/2012 08:42

Yes, very clever bettybat :)

Right I need to go and intercept dd who is currently emptying the recycling box and relocating its items into the washing machine Hmm

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 09:55

I've been tidying up for the past 2 hours to make it presentable for the painters who are due any min.

I'm taking ds to a soft play today with my friend so that'll take my mind off things.

Beeblebear · 08/02/2012 13:41

Oh betty, I have something to learn from you. I totally caved and wasted a stick today. It was a cheapy and not even an ept so I don't know why I bothered 3 days early other than the fact i've convinced myself I must be preg this month

Dh21 -glad i'm not the only one. unfortunately the circumstace I found myself in was that I was habing unpotected sex with my bf but one night at a party I was drugged and raped by his much older brother. My trust of people from that was so violated. All I could picture in my head was me obeing on that tv show maury and not knowing if the baby daddy was one bro or the other so I didn't really tell anyone the truth.
I didn't date again for nearly 7 years. I surrounded myself with gay men as that is where I felt safe.
So to be where I am now is truly a blessing a long time coming.

pippilongsmurfing · 08/02/2012 16:38

I'm 9-10 days post ovulation, and did a test (now I know fat too early!) this am, and got a BFN.

I just couldn't resist POAS, but then it's sooo disappointing when it's a BFN, again.

Come on my BFP, if AF arrives this month, I may have to kill her, or at the very least console myself with some nice cake/chocolate/pastries.

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 16:43

beeble what a horrible thing to have to go through :( its good you've come out the other side and you're ready now. Hoping for you to get a BFP this month!

My back is awful I can barely do anything it's crippling. I might go to the docs early if it's still bad tomorrow because I can't even lift ds or get him in and out the car without it being agony.
My friend thinks its cos I'm preg but who knows.

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 17:34

Ladies....AF has got me :(

Although of course I am gutted it's not a baby I realistically knew it would be surprising if it happened this quick and im actually quite happy im not in limbo land anymore and once AF has buggered off I can get down to some serious business! Plus I've got a concrete AF date whereas before I wasn't 100% sure.

I'll stay on here tho if that's ok so I can still chat to you lovely lot and I'll be back before you know it in 2 weeks! Just think of it as a vacation!

ImpatientOne · 08/02/2012 17:54

Aw DH21 sorry it's arrived but it is good to end the limbo.

I'm not in TWW but can't help popping back here to see what's going on :)

ellesabe · 08/02/2012 17:55

Booooooooo dh21 :( I'm sorry about af and hope that your next cycle is much shorter to save all the agonising!

Wow beeble I am always amazed at what some people have been put through. You must be such a strong person to have dealt with that.

I am all set to poas again tomorrow. I have been doing a marvellous job of keeping my mind off it, by some miracle. Can't believe I'm on cd36 now and nothing. Not even dtd has encouraged af to show her ugly face.

ellesabe · 08/02/2012 18:13

Oh and dh21 you should def go to the dr about your back. Sounds painful!

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 18:14

Yes I doubly hope this cycle won't be as long!

ellesabe looking forward to hearing back from you first thing tomorrow, dont keep us all hanging on!

ellesabe · 08/02/2012 18:25

I've just started getting af cramps so suddenly not feeling very hopeful :( Wish I could have an early night but got loads of friends coming round. Urgh.

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 18:29

Oh dear :( at least friends will take your mind of things. These long cycles are crap aren't they?

I look on the calendar and my next AF isn't due til 7th March, that's friggin ages away!

Southsearocks · 08/02/2012 21:00

Back in the game - my 2ww starts today! Grin

Not sure how successful we will be. DTD on Monday morning, got a smiley face yesterday afternoon and DTD last evening. No chance of repeating it tonight because straight after last nights frolicking DH went to the bathroom, tripped over the stair gate on the landing and broke his toe! We spent most of the morning in the local treatment centre Grin Grin This is the same DH that broke his ankle last year while I was on bedrest with a leaky amniotic sac so perhaps it's a sign. I hope what we've done will be sufficient for a chance this month.

Soooo sorry DH21. Can you have a few of these now? Wine Wine

DesperateHousewife21 · 08/02/2012 21:11

AF only came today and I'm already getting impatient for my next cycle argh!

Beeblebear · 09/02/2012 00:02

I have been thinking a 2ww book club thread where we each pick a book to read and give everyone here a review - perhaps to inspire some other books to pick up to fill the 2ww reading.... anyone game?

Isabeller · 09/02/2012 01:05

Tried to explain to DP why I'm going crazy. Expecting AF while looking after his Mum for a week, got home knackered and realised now cd40 and 19 after ovulation but bbt low so convinced must be imagining whole thing or is due to recent surgery/infection/ancientness.

Longest cycle 35 days but usually 25-29. We are TTC but don't even know what test to get as never got this far yet. Fully expecting AF to see this post and parachute in.

Beeblebear · 09/02/2012 05:10

Ugh. Now I fear af is iminent. I'm all bloated and have been cleaning up a storm! I only do that during pms.

ellesabe · 09/02/2012 06:57

Sounds promising isabeller!

Well this morning I poas, finished my wee and wiped to find that af has arrived :( The weird thing is I then looked at the test and it totally looked like a bfp. Oh well, I don't suppose you can argue with the fat lady. I'd better resign myself to the fact that it wasn't our month.

Ate Sainsburys tests renowned for being inaccurate??

ellesabe · 09/02/2012 07:00

And beeble I like the book club idea! I just finished Smoking Poppy by Graham Joyce. It was about a middle-aged man who takes himself off to Thailand to rescue his daughter from a drugs mix-up she got herself in. A very easy read with a predictable outcome but entertaining enough :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 09/02/2012 07:26

Well you can get slight bleeding/ spotting in early preg so it depends how light the bleeding is. There's no mistaking my AF for preg! It's killing this morning.

ellesabe · 09/02/2012 07:45

Mine is definitely af too. What a bummer.

I have decided to assume a 37 day cycle next month too so that I hopefully avoid the limbo stage. That means though that I won't be testing until 17th March Shock
