Well I now have a Kindle and one of my NY resolutions is to read more and watch less telly so I will give it a go! I've never joined a book club before because unpredictable work hours make turning up somewhere at a specific time every week tricky, but an online one would work really well. I am concerned about the cake element though. Don't real life book clubs normally have an important cake contribution part to them? I suppose we can just all make our own and compare notes.

My other NY resolutions...hmm.

I broke the first ever CBD I used - it was way back in the naive days when I didn't realise that ttc is hellish and expensive and emotionally draining I should be using cheapies. That said, I went back to Boots right away and peed again...'Pregnant'. Of course, we all know how that ended...

But maybe broken CBDs are good luck?

I used to cycle to work, bugs. How well I remember the foofular agony. Apparently you can get seats anatomically designed for females, if you fancied it. I prefer a really narrow hard one though (oo er).

I've got one with a hole in it. If I cycled nekkid I could do a wee without even getting off.

I did a 10 mile walk today & have eaten lots of veg so I am feeling smug virtuous.

I've also ordered the book from Amazon. I love reading, I'll reading anything, trash, highbrow, non fiction. When I was little my mum used to have to stop me reading under the covers at night. I am a self confessed geek and proud.

Not really, sunshine. Moments of extremely faint imaginary queasiness, but those are very probably caused by ingesting nothing but chocolate and coffee for the past fortnight.

I wish something would happen immediately when we get pregnant like our wee turning purple. It would be so much easier that all this waiting waiting waiting and second guessing.

Have been awake since 3am stressing about arrival of removal men this morning. I wish this were all over. I wish it weren't so rainy. I wish I could stop worrying about whether Nameless Boyfriend will have done everything he is meant to at the other end, even though that is clearly his thing to worry about, not mine. I wish I could go back to sleep.
