Ha ha, I was also sitting here wondering whether Louise had called you a c* for leaving so many messages or herself one for not replying. How indelicate! Thank you Digi for reminding me that there are more appropriate words beginning with C.

Right, I've got my scan booked for Tuesday now. Keep everything crossed for me that I've not scarred, damaged or blocked in any way! Have decided to have bloods done tomorrow and combine my visit to my granny with the scan, which is half way home from Sussex, instead.

batteryhen · 19/01/2012 15:17

hopeful - I too thought 'Louise called you a what'??? Shock Grin

I think the Dr did a dildocam as he was teaching another Dr so probably need to get his numbers in :) They were very nice though xx

hopefulfor2nd · 19/01/2012 15:41

Never thought about the awful other c word! To clarify I meant the congratulations word!!
Keeping everything crossed for kittens x x

cherrycheeks · 19/01/2012 15:49

Been away for a few days- delighted to hear of the BFP news snoopy hopeful and ?? maybe PQ Smile

Sorry about the BFN kittens hopefully you'll be able to rule out any potential problems from the scan\ bloods. Loving the professional make-up tips btw!

I was also Shock at Louise and the C word! Grin

Glad all went well at the scan battery

Not much news re ttc from me. Just finished the higher dose of superov drugs so waiting for scan next week.

Sorry not to name check everyone!

Coconutfeet · 19/01/2012 16:25

He he! I'm glad you clarified that Hopeful. I was just sitting here thinking, gosh that seems very out of character for Louise. Really made me laugh though. Grin

Battery - Great news. It must be nice knowing that you've got another scan fairly soon.

Right, really not supposed to be on here. Must do some actual childcare.

snoopygirl · 19/01/2012 16:28

Hopeful Yes feeling same as you, just going to have to try to keep busy. cheryl at office tried to book me in for 6/7 check up - which said i'll call her next week being a scaredy cat but spose should just do it as i've got my slot then. will they scan me? OMG if I'm CD30 today ..that means thats' only a two to three weeks away!! I need to be

Battery Fab news - can't believe your 9 weeks what happened there?! Alot of mentalling I'm sure.

Kittens Good Luck for next tues. Make up artist -bet your really glam!

Forgot to say that I am booked in tomorrow at NLC for Intralipids at 10.30am. Just going to say might have a small sleep while I'm sitting there but no chance after popping 40mg couple of hrs before....got my Ideal Home with "How to De-Clutter" supplement ready....(shove it all towards the dustbin is my tip) Smile.

Welcome lotions sorry bout lack of sleep, You do get used to it a bit but yes pretty awful late night early mornings although bit in between I seem to get into a deeper sleep than normal, weird. If it's really unbearable then maybe talk to your consultant.

snoopygirl · 19/01/2012 16:31

Re: "C" word and Louis, that's probably her pet name for me after yesterday. Grin

Arianrhod · 19/01/2012 17:04

ROFL I thought exactly the same about the c word, I didn't work it out for ages! My what naughty minds we all have on here Grin. Good news on the scan battery and kittens crossing everything for you already. Might make things a bit awkward having evything crossed for the next 4 days but I'll give it a go. Right, now how do I bath a 5 year old with crossed fingers?

cornflakes30 · 19/01/2012 17:34

Happy belated birthday to battery and euro...

Well done to hopefully, battery and pq I'm keeping everything crossed for you. Really hope I haven't missed any?
I must make more of an effort to check this thread everyday, otherwise it's so busy I miss things v annoying can't keep up.

It's lovely to read so many positive posts no negative news this week..

I'm just lurking at the moment as just waiting to get my AF so I can start ttc again.

I went to see my endrocrinologist this week and had my bloods done after the mc and he was very concerned about my thyroid he seems to think that it's a mess and could have been a major contribution to my mc this time.. It was over stimulated aparently..He has said he will keep a closer eye next time..l not happy as he said that last time.. don't know what to do really but it's given me more hope that next time hopefully the nk treatment will work.
Only 1 week till my holiday....

Hello to everyone else and well done to the third trimesters. Vvv exciting

Stogan · 19/01/2012 19:06

Evening all !

PMSL at the c word, pleased I'm not the only one who thought of the bad word lol !!
Welcome lotions Grin

YEY battery we all love a good scan, so happy for u xGrin

Hope everyone else is well x

freelancegirl · 19/01/2012 19:06

Cornflakes what were your thyroid results do you know? Surprised you were so over active the endo thought this might have been something to do with the mc. Have they reduced your dosage?

I would love it if Louise really did drop the C word into conversation occasionally Grin Used sporadically from someone you don't expect it, it can be such fun!

Great news on the scan Battery! Gosh other people's pregnancies do seem to go quickly from the outside. When i guess for you it is dragging too.

Yes Snoopy they will indeed scan you so make sure you go when you are passed the 6 week stage just in case it's too early to see much. I went at 6.4 I think this time. Enjoy intralipids tomorrow! If my scan goes ok I will be having them next Friday.

Pregnancy symptoms of the day, gosh am so gassy! It's embarassing. Thank god I've been able to just chill out at home today. Didn't get anything done re tidying up the wardrobe, just went to have a three hour lie down mid afternoon and got sod all done. What has happened to me! Oh I am also sneezing non stop and my nose is getting stuffy. Apparently it can be a pregnancy thing. Although it would ironic to STOP taking the immune suppressants and start having a terrible cold. Just three more mornings on Pred for me. Yikes!

Cheerfulcharlie · 19/01/2012 19:10

ooo alll these bfps very exciting. I will not use the 'c' word. Ha ha, that really made me laugh. I was shocked that Louise would use the c word!

Battery - well done on scan!

Also laughing at Kittens and the lodger getting in the way of her tuneful evenings!

Can't believe Free and I are in the second trimester stage. My only constant symptom (sore boobs, at least when i poked them) has now pretty much gone. But to compensate my tummy is getting quite hard to hide now. Also I am getting quite emotional and tearful. Why now in the second trimester? I even burst into tears at work today but managed to hide in an empty meeting room until it passed. Hopefully noone noticed.

I'm not really sure these dopplers are a good idea but I have to say I do have one and allow myself very sparing use of it for emergency panics only which really have helped on the two occasions I've used it this pregnancy. It did help me this mornign after a dream that i had a mmc. I would be a bit careful not to over use. There are studies done on the high frequency sound waves in mice and shown that they can harm their developing neurons in the womb (but I know these are mice and they did use higher frequency sound waves I think).

I have also just been advised by Louise to have an extra intralipids at 16 wks as i'm not on the pred too. I'm glad really, might give those NK cells a bit of a final blast.

PQ77 · 19/01/2012 19:15

Hehehe, I've been sniggering about the c word too...

Bought a FR test to do tomorrow. Will report back! but I'm really not holding my breath. But booked in for intralipids on Monday if I get a proper +ve

cornflakes I think it is great that your dr has picked up on this again - hopefully he can now have a better shot at balancing your meds properly? (well not great that you have a problem but I am sure you get what I mean). Very positive for when you next try.

Great scan news battery, I really do get nervous for everyone so thanks for updating us. And kittens I'm hoping that on tuesday you get the all clear inside, so to speak. Great that you're going to be able to rule it out - or get it sorted if there is something wrong (I am looking at this positively for you, as everyone I know with a scarring issue has had it sorted one way or other)

Hi to everyone else- been running around with my three year old just now and thinking of digi doing the same but pregnant - argh!

Welcome to lotions. Nothing major on the side effects side but I was v v worried before i started. Had to throw out the warning insert as it made me feel ill just reading what could go wrong. Just more energy which is being put to good use at work. Now that I think about it, I have had to conciously moderate my behaviour a bit as I work for a very conservative firm and I have been a bit too manic and excitable at times. Getting about two hours sleep less a night than usual - but not feeling too bad on it

PQ77 · 19/01/2012 19:26

free - Just on dopplers - my ltd experience - try and get someone who knows what they're doing to show you how to do it. My mw said some people listen to the uterine artery rather than the baby's heartbeat (or indeed their own heart beat, even though baby is about twice as fast).

In the right hands though am sure they are great for reassurance like cheerful says.

But in a real scare you will still need to go to hospital - I had a private midwife who did extra home visits if i was nervous and one night she just could not find heartbeat with a Doppler so i went to hospital where the registrar couldn't find it either [and this was the moment when my heart stopped beating] so they had to put me on a ctg pretty quickly (lots of sensors strapped up to your stomach). DS was in a ridiculous position and obv everything fine. (and this was supposed to be a reassuring story not a scary one. I try to censor the scary / icky ones!)

suemays · 19/01/2012 19:36

Hi all, great news snoopy and PQ on the BFPs! I am sure you wont be as unlucky as me getting a chemical pregnancy but at least it hasnt stopped me trying again this month, it just meant my Af was a week later than normal. I think next time I will put away the FRER tests once I get the first positive as it was driving me nuts!

Also great news on the scan Battery - glad the spotting has stopped now.

I am now on the 2ww on my 1st run of the superov plan so fingers crossed it will be successful in 10 days time. Can someone put me on the waiting to test section (on 29th Jan)? I had a scan on Monday and there were 2 good sized follicles and I think I OVD today as had a few cramps.

Has anyone heard from Scooter as she seems to have disappeared off the radar?

Hello to all the newbies, sorry I can't scroll back and see who you are!

Free cant believe it has only been 9 weeks since your BFP - feels like ages ago that you announced it!

suemays · 19/01/2012 19:40

Forgot to say on the TTC front that I stopped taking aspirin a couple of days ago before ovulation and won't take it again until my AF or positive test. I have been told it can act as a mild contraceptive. St Marys told me to take it from BFP so again its mixed info.

Laughing at the C word incident! I hope Louise or Dr S don't read this thread!!! Ha ha!

PQ77 · 19/01/2012 19:45

sue - scooter is having a lovely long sunny holiday and back next week I think

snoopygirl · 19/01/2012 20:45

free I know I'm a stick addict but their so cheap! Actually the cheapie internet ones are great. I got a better result on those than FR ones. Have you used the Doppler yet?

sue nice to hear from you. Excited for you this month. At least you didn't have to take a break and not long to wait. Two good follicles was just what he was looking for he told me last week so that's great. He said you have a extra 50% chance of conceiving on this plan. Have you injected yet? Everything crossed for you. x

TMI ALERT: does anyone get watery leakage with the cyclogest from the back - it's not been very pleasant today. Hope it's not going to be like that everyday! Oh wind over here too from them! Blush

snoopygirl · 19/01/2012 21:57

pq good luck with test tomorrow xx

snoopygirl · 20/01/2012 04:22

arrghh 4.20am no sleep yet, after me telling lotions not too bad. Hopefully just could 1st day of 40mg. Spent whole night in bed mentalling about not feeling pregnant and that I'm going to feel a fraud having lipids tomorrow and that it's probably a complete waste of money! Only good thing it's L's day off so won't have the embarrassed chat re my rant the other day.
Must avoid Beaconsfield services tomorrow, keep going in M&S and stocking up with sushi, nuts for journey, something chocolatey etc etc

suemays · 20/01/2012 09:30

#snoopy# I did the shot on wed eve so ovd yesterday morning. I had loads of. Ewcm and cramps plus got a smiley face on opk. Since starting the preds I have never got a smiley face so I hope it's a good sign!
Louise told me cyclogest is slightly better up the front although most will change to the back by the last few weeks due to irritation. I had a lot of fallout with it too.

duggs1976 · 20/01/2012 09:38

Best of luck sue whatever happens this cycle u know u r increasing your chances Grin

duggs1976 · 20/01/2012 09:39

PQ any news ?

freelancegirl · 20/01/2012 09:42

Good luck with the intralipids snoopy! No sushi for you my girl. Good news on the smiley face Sue. Am in a cafe, well more of a caff having breakfast with dh and lurking for news of PQ. Doppler yet to arrive as only ordered yesterday.

batteryhen · 20/01/2012 10:48

Just having a lurk for news for PQ
