Thanks for the replies.
I was suriprised to see a peak on day 10, and the sonographers predicted dates were closer to what I expected, but you never know, and so far my guesses haven't exactly proved to work!
If peak = day 10 (assuming it's correct) should i expect a much shorter cycle than usual (28 days)?

Not sure what has happened this month, but I got a BFP this morning! SOO happy! Trying not to be too excited though as have been TTC for so long, and had a BFP in December followed by AF about 5 days later, so crossing my fingers and hoping for the best now.

The weird thing is that I never got a peak using the CBFM, only highs, and I have to admit that I gave up testing at about day 22, as my cycles are normally short (22 to 26 days). Not sure if maybe I ovulated early this cycle, before I started testing, or for some reason the the CBFM didn't pick it up. Whatever the situation, I'm really pleased and looking forward to tell DH the good news tonight!

Just switched on my monitor for the first time this weekend as AF showed yesterday.

All ok so far and think I understand it all - just have to wait for AF to go before the real fun kicks in!

Need some advice too... I'm on 2nd cycle using CBFM. AF came about 10 days earlier than expected, I have reasonably long cycles.
I had a peak on CD16 & 17. Today I'm CD22, 5DPO and the 'm' sign started flashing on CBFM, isn't this very early? Is it normal? Does is flash for several days when it suspects your AF is coming?

It was only 7 days for some strange reason

I think it has decided your LP is 7 days based on your last cycle. I did find that the M would start flashing a couple of days before AF was due (on day 31 when my cycle is usually 34, with a 14 day LP).

in the meantime, I am 8 DPO and had some minor cramping today. Implantation?! And have some pg tests that are about to expire in the bathroom....

I'm new to the CBFM and I'm already lost! I started using it yesterday and set the monitor to day 1 using the m button. I've turned it on today and it still says 1. I was assuming today it would say 2. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Well I'm excited. Not. Just turned on CBFM after being pg and then mc and one cycle. It said 99 and m was flashing like some mad siren wailing at me. Its felt like a lot longer than 99 days since my last normal period.

cupcakes what does your CBFM say today? I guess it should say 3. If not, follow the instructions to advance it day 3 (do it at your normal planned testing time, ie when you wake up, do it tomorrow if it's too late now and set to day 4 instead). You have till day 6 to set the day anyway. If it still isn't advancing change the battery and if still no good I'd exchange it or maybe call the help line.

Hi Bonzo when I turned it on this morning it had advanced to day 2. So tomorrow when I turn it on I'll advance it to day 4. Thanks for your reply

My CBFM has been flashing "m" the last few days, but it started at day 20 even though my cycles are normally 28 days long. I guess it's guessing AF is due baed on the (I thought strangely early) peak on Day 10. Hmm so I don't know hether to believe the CBFM (I'd love to obviously) or whether it is just miscalculating/guessing incorrectly. Any ideas or similar stories?

Congratulations Shanini ! Lovely news, how long have you been trying and how long using the CBFM?

I am still a bit of a newbie with the CBFM ImpatientOne (as you can prob guess from my questions) as it's only my scond month using it. I've ben ttc for two years though so if it is correct about ov-ing on Day 10 then that's certainly useful as I was inclined to think I w ov-ing mid-cyle (Day 14 ish). Only time will tell though!
I guess the main advice from evryone including docotors etc is to keep DTD (yawn)...regardless of what else you are doing (cbfm/temping etc).

Sorry about all the mis-spellings, I can't see how to edit messages once posted!

It may be nothing but when I opened a jar of honey this morning (same brand we always use) I found the smell overwhelming, in fact I couldn't wait to get it (the smell!) out of my nose.
When I ws pregnant with my dd I remember the smell of Lilies (the flowers) having the same effect on me.
Clearly I am going to be driven nuts until AF arrives, dum de dum.

Did my first test this morning and felt slightly rejected when it continued to say low! I totally expected it to as I think I ovulated on CD15 last month so would make sense to be low on day 6 but I think I was expecting a more exciting reaction to my first test...

CD19 8DPO not feeling confident this month as we only DTD once in my fertile time according to FB. We DTD everyother day on high and peak, and then stopped as EWCM had gone and then FF said I'd ov'd! So annoyed, we keep getting the timings mixed up, even eith the bonkometer saying bonk! grrr...

Cbfm been flashing m for a few days now, I assume it will just keep doing that until I tell it AF has arrived? Am driving myself mental as I don't feel PMT ish which I normally do, and seem to be constantly needing to wee. Havent symptom spotted so much in months! Am sure AF will come and I will feel very silly. We're going on hols on Sunday (leaving early morning) so if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow I will buy a HPT to take with me or even use on Sunday (at least I'll know I can drink). Sunday is day 27 so a test should work then on FMU I think. I stopped having HPTs in the house ages ago due to the disappointment and expense!

Well, I got the faintest BFP this morning! Much more a line than the evap I got in december and OH and SIL can def see it too... Just wish it was more so I could relax and accept it, only 10 DPO though so it would be faint. Why do I test so early???

Bought a digital one for in the morning, will be gutting if BFN now. x x

Hetty I will do a Clearblue digital test in the morning too... CD30 tomorrow, 13DPO...

Eek Bluetinkerbell i am literally going out of my mind here. Definately a line, but so so faint. Just want to see the work 'pregnant' in the morning then there is no guessing. Good Luck x

Mine was a BFN :( I knew it was going to be, as I always have negative tests at the beginning... I will test again in a few days/weeks...

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The normal tesco one I did first was neg, but decided to do CB digital to make sure and when the word pregnant appeared I couldn't believe it!

Off to tesco later to get loads more tests, enough for 1 a day for the rest of the week

Congratulations Hetty I have 2 CB digi's sitting waiting for that magical day!!! I just hope I get to use them before they expire!

I'm on CD10 and CBFM still saying low although CM starting to look more fertile (sorry TMI ) so will be intrigued to see what it says tomorrow!
