Is there anybody about tonight. I am bored. DH is at work and OOOoooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh just realised what time it is.... You are all watching eastenders. i'll try again later.x

Coathanger · 03/01/2006 19:42

I'm here Peepee! Refreshing whilst ironing!

I'm sure the psycology behind the weight is right actually. I think that might be why I put on so much weight since MC. I had it in my mind I was able to forget about dieting for 9 months then I had to stop thinking like that. Makes sense I suppose! I am so looking forward to the 21st. You're not gonna turn up with cuffs and arrest us all are you??

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 08:00

Morning!!

Well, thats it! Christmas is officially over. My boys are back at school today ad I'm not sure if I'm bloody glad or sad TBH. Ah well, at least everything is back to normal.

What everyone up to today then?

mumswish · 04/01/2006 08:17

morning CH, morning girls

I'm working again just had some hunky firemen here tho! so little happier.

I got a completion date on the house!! 28th Jan!

diddle · 04/01/2006 09:01

HC - Nope we're not finding out the sex, Dh wants to, but i don't. so we're not, he's not good at keeping secrets so he can't even find out himself. I want it to be a surprise, especially as its our first.

Morning everyone else, how are we all today. i'm cream crackered, hate early mornings, and now i'm back at work i have to get up when its still dark, how depressing!!

FirstNikki · 04/01/2006 09:20

Morning ladies, well my car started to work eventually last night so had to drive myself to work rather than be chauffeured by DH...oh well could have got used to that

CH hope today isn't too bad for you with it being boys first day back. and a big WELL DONE on the healthy eating, I too had a perfect eating day so good luck with today your menu sounds lovely.

G4P - hope DS didn't keep you up too much.

Good luck to all who are eating healthy to shed some pounds and keep out the treat cupboard

I am back at work as of yesterday so will be about.

mums - congrats on the house date bet you are so excited.

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 09:24

Thank you Nikki! I need a lot of luck!! Had my Weightwatchers toast (2 slices) with low fat spread and a cup of tea (skimmed milk) but was still hungry so had a "Go Ahead" strawberry mallow - yummy and very low in fat! Planning an apple round 11am then lunch about 12.30. This is going so well Weighted my self this morning and was flickering between 9st 3lb and 9st 4lb, whereas testerday it was flickering 9.5 and 9.4 - so pound already!!

mumswish · 04/01/2006 09:26

Congrats CH!! I havent even started mine yet, someone gave a me a box of chocs yesterday for xmas and havent finished them yet! when I finish them i'll start.

HumphreysCorner · 04/01/2006 09:44

Morning ladies

When I was at Weight Watchers the leader suggested we bring in all our chocolates from Christmas and she would give them away-noooooooooooo waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

Boring food shopping today as have nothing in the house.

Coathanger my luvlie, good on you for dieting but if I was only 9st 3lb I wouldn't be dieting you are just fine as you are! All too aware that this will be me in July if all goes to plan but will be happy to get to 10st again. Just going through the paranoid stage at 14+4 as I can't feel anything and have a heart monitor thing which lets me hear my stomach gurgling and the TV downstairs but not really anything else. Only 6 weeks until the 20 week scan and then I might feel a tad more at ease.

diddle-you are v. strong to not find out the sex-I am soooo impatient-can't wait won't wait sort of girl Convinced it is a boy 'cos of the string test. Hope you are OK at 17+ weeks ((xx))

mumswish-brill news on your house completion-not long now. ((xx))

DD has come upstairs so I'm going to have to go as she will be up to no good as usual.

Have a good day and love to all.

(((xxx)))

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 10:03

Morning HC I used to suggest taking your left over choccies and goodies to the local old folkes home to get rid of them, or the hospital. I never did of course! hehehe!! And I would be happy with 9.3 if I was 5'7" but I'm only 5' so need to lose about a stone really I'm not "fat" but need to shed those lumps that have appeared on my lumps if you get my meaning I'm sure it will go if I stick to my diet - I plan to be slim when you lot see me in a couple of weeks (those of you who are going of course!)

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 10:13

Its a bit slow on here today. Where is everyone? Are you all catching up on work after the xmas break?

mumswish · 04/01/2006 10:20

Been doing a bit of work, but am bored again now. No-one has any work for me to do! I'm going to go and design my kitchen on the B&Q website I think!! lol

FirstNikki · 04/01/2006 10:21

Yes I will be floating from now on except around lunchtimes 12-1 now back at work and have to crack on, so to speak.

HC thinking of you and I am sure you will be fine xx

diddle · 04/01/2006 10:22

CH - its normally busier on here when everyones at work, maybe they've all got lots to catch up on.

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 10:27

I'm just being a bit sad today (sad as in nerdy not sad as in unhappy) coz I will be on here all day!! Making the most of my freedom before starting at school next week! Won't be on so much after that.

mumswish · 04/01/2006 10:40

you going back to school to learn or work CH? What ya doing there?

peepee · 04/01/2006 10:48

I will probably be on line more from tomorrow. Back to work in the morning. I am not looking forward to it. I think i need a change of career. Been doing the same job for 15yrs. It's scary. I don't enjoy it any more. My outlook on life has changed. I don't want all the agro anymore. I am more settled at home and want a baby to complete everything. When I look at other female colleagues I realise how similar we all are. We are all in our thirties have done 10 plus years and then priorities change. Most want motherhood and marraige. When they get the motherhood side of it they are out of there. No looking back and are getting on fab in civvie street. I want to be there.
Enough moaning from me. I feel better after that though. Anyways will hang in there until i find out whats gonna happen with regards to my treatment for pregnancy. If i get told no chance I will leave the job and find something else. If I get told there is a chance I will hang on for monies etc.......

How are u all doing this morning?
CH, what's with the going back to scholl thingy? Have I missed something?

peepee · 04/01/2006 10:49

Imeant school not comfy shoes!!!!!!

Coathanger · 04/01/2006 11:02

School as in college. I start my access course next week. The first step to my midwifery degree!

mumswish · 04/01/2006 11:08

wow neat CH! Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great. How long is the course for?

mumswish · 04/01/2006 11:31

CH??? where you gone?

diddle · 04/01/2006 12:38

peepee - sounds like you have the right idea in mind, worth waiting for the money if they're willing to support you. Hope you get the decision you want, and of course that BFP!

can't believe its lunchtime already, where has the morning gone?

mumswish · 04/01/2006 13:00

What does everyone think of the fact they've got fertility tests available to buy in Boots now?

I personally think its a good idea and I'd use them

going4potty · 04/01/2006 14:02
