How gutted to log on and find that someone had beaten me to the 1000 post and I couldn't update on the old thread.

Particularly as I got my BFP last night!!! I'd had two BFNs last week and was expecting AF to arrive while on holiday but it never came... Got more and more convinced that I was pg (feeling a bit sick too) as the weekend went on and literally tested within 10 mins of arriving home. Poor DH was still unloading the car as I greeted him at the door with my pink line!

Very excited although a bit apprehensive too. Really want to tell everyone but obviously don't want to this early so am REALLY pleased I have all you lovely ladies on MN to share with.

I was too excited to do more than skim the last few pages on the last thread but did see there had been several other BFPs so congratulations to all those too!

(Warning: Rant ahead)

AAAAARRRRGGHHHH! FFS! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY SHITTING LIFE, NOT TO MENTION MY ARSING CYCLE!?????!!!! Phew, and breathe....

CD20 (of a "usually" 30 day cycle) 7dpo according to FF and AF has arrived!! My LP is "usually" 12 days..... It looks like I ov-ed this month, which I am very happy about, but really?! If you look at my cycle, it does look like I could have ov-ed CD 7 (all of which is ridiculously early) but would at least mean a 10 day LP which is a bit more palatable I suppose. God, I don't know any more. (cycle here, sorry - you have to scroll down, cos it's last month's cycle now :().

AND the dog knocked my new (to me) Iphone I only got today on our hard wood floor and smashed the screen...... FUCKITY ARSE WANK.

Sorry, I don't want to bring everyone down, perhaps I need to offski for a bit; I'm starting to wonder if I pissed a gypsy off or something....

AF arrived early for me too, though not as early as yours.

It does look like you could have ov'd on CD7. Just put it down to a wanky cycle and get it out of the way. New cycle, new attitude, new hopes, etc.

Don't give up, or we'll all have to give up too. We'll all be like the mayor in Hallowe'en Town, crying "we're all DOOMED!" Things will work out, life gets wrinkled sometimes and it takes a while to iron out the creases...

...and dogs are wankers anyway! :D

I think I've worked out what's happening, anyway. If you make my last af spotting, which it was really, you end up with a long cycle where I tried to ov twice before I finally ov-ed. The first time I was supposed to ov was around the time of my dad's death, which makes a lot of sense. I read somewhere that bad quality eggs can cause a short lp, so my egg was hanging about for a long time before it finally popped out!

Anyway, new cycle, new opportunity to SWI and get updiffed! Have a great weekend guys! Off to meet my mates at cribbs and shop, shop shop!

festie can I ask 2 questions? 1) has the bleeding got heavy and, ahem, if you don't mind me asking, what colour is it? 2) what did your temp do today? I know you don't chart during AF but I think you should (unless it's all a bit too messy)

Yeah, I had dreams of implantation spotting too, but it didn't last long. Still, now I've made last month's af spotting (cos it only was a tiny breakthrough bleed really) my cycle makes a lot more sense!

If my cycle behaves this month , af would be due around 31st, so a bfp for the new year?! We shall see!

my gosh the weekend has just flew pass, not happy with the monday am looming!!!! if only as the days went passed i had something special to look forwards to ahhhhhhhhh thats it not seeing my AF and seeing a positive on my stick!!!! whoop!

Aggghhhh!! What the actual f*!!!?? So having had 38 day cycles since starting again, I then got the cbfm and was surprised to get peak at cd16 and 17 as thought that didn't make sense with long cycles, was then foolishly trying to decide if I could hold out til day 38 til I tested when Lo and behold af arrived in full flow last night with no warning, on cd26!!! So not only did we not manage it again despite dtd on the highs and peak days, it looks like cycle is all over the place again. Grrrr.

maisie - sorry your cycle is messed up.... how long have you been charting? I read that sometimes women can have 2 long cycles, then a short one, or alternate long and short ones.... is there any pattern in yours?

CD15 here and got the peak on my CBFM this morning which i was not expecting for a couple of days.. DTD last night but going to have to see if i get get DH on it tonight and tomorrow night. I have had a foul month and could really do with some good news.

Still feeling utterly rubbish emotionally. I know it is work related and i only have a week or so left before breaking up so going to push through and if i am fine over the christmas period then i know it's not a permanent depression thing, just the work thing. I just hate that it can have such an effect on you. My mum pointed out (tactfully) that the stress may be affecting my ability to conceive as the last few months we have DTD spot on timing wise and got NOTHING :( Well, not sure what i can do apart from try and relax.

berries I did! It was negative though, but that doesn't mean anything to me until AF appears! Temperature stayed high today :) CD42. I will crack another test on Wednesday Thursday Friday! As we are moving house and I need to know before lifting heavy boxes!

I'm on CD 20 (it feels like 100)... I had peak days on Fri and Sat then two bars yesterday and now down to one bar already - scary how fast fertility peaks and troughs!! Hope we've DTD enough this month - we didn't go crazy over high days but SWI a few times. We shall see. AF is due next Tues so having a short LP means just over a 1WW at least :)

Hi, have updated myself. This will be my last try before officially giving up. AF has now buggered off, so I now have a couple of weeks to relax and SWOI, before SWI starts.

oooh yes notinmykitchen me too! :) it would be such a positive end to 2011 as in June we lost our DD2 at 20 weeks pregnant! I miss her like crazy, specially with Christmas approaching and knowing that it would have been her first Christmas and she would have been spoiled with presents!
