How gutted to log on and find that someone had beaten me to the 1000 post and I couldn't update on the old thread.

Particularly as I got my BFP last night!!! I'd had two BFNs last week and was expecting AF to arrive while on holiday but it never came... Got more and more convinced that I was pg (feeling a bit sick too) as the weekend went on and literally tested within 10 mins of arriving home. Poor DH was still unloading the car as I greeted him at the door with my pink line!

Very excited although a bit apprehensive too. Really want to tell everyone but obviously don't want to this early so am REALLY pleased I have all you lovely ladies on MN to share with.

I was too excited to do more than skim the last few pages on the last thread but did see there had been several other BFPs so congratulations to all those too!

Morning everyone. Well, as you all know, I haven't bothered with actively TTC this month. We only SWI once on the day the CBFM gave me a peak reading but other than that we were far too stressed!!

Well, this morning I got up and felt awful. I had to run to the loo and was actually sick. Yuck. I POAS IC just to check (been doing them every day over the last 5 days) and I think I have a BFP! I have been trying to take pics for you to help me decide but they aren't coming out well. I'll keep trying. I'm a real pessimist so don't want to get my hopes up too early on.

Oggy EEEEEEK!!!!! Fantastic news!!! Wow!! Goes to show that you only need one good shag I'd test again with FMU tomorrow or maybe get an FRER! When was/is AF due?

AF is due today. It is all rather fitting as I had a MC on this date when I was just 17! I'm going to get a couple of back ups from the shop now. I don't know if I can wait for FMU though I know I should! Will keep you updated.

CB Digi says Pregnant 2-3. I honestly can't believe it!

3 years of no contraception. 4 cycles of trying 'properly' through charting etc. I just get so scared to get my hopes up.

Plus, I was so convinced I was out of the game this month that I had a few wines last night! I feel awful! :(

Yes, as Blue says, the wine at this stage will have no affect whatsoever as the placenta will not have formed yet so the little sack of cells is not taking in anything that you are taking in, iyswim!?!

Congratulations oggy that is brilliant news!! Definitely don't worry about the wine, I was on holiday during the 2WW with DS and drank a lot. I spent the whole 9 months worrying about it but he couldn't be healthier.

I decided to have a 'few' drinks last night to comiserate my BFN(s) and got totally plastered. Now watching TV in PJs with DS while both eating snacks. I feel like I am one DNA test away from being on Jeremy Kyle.

DH due home soon so will be able to do something energetic with DS. i am not a very good mum today :( :(

berries of course you are a great mum!! I bet DS is loving watching a bit of tele with mum whilst eating snacks :) we are only human at the end of the day and we all need to let go once in a while! Its a one off....i bet you don't do that everyweekend......right!?!

Ok ok!! It's Saturday night and I'm on MN but I am sooooo excited!! Went for a turtle earlier because I was prepping for some SWI action and thought I'd check what the old CM was up to and low and behold I think I finally Hv EWCM!!!! in fact as I retrieved my finger a glob of it fell onto the floor which I quickly scooped up! It was really stretchy and wet and I'm way too excited, aren't I!?! Anyway we hv dtd so really crossing everything for some kind of temp rise in the morning!!! Just hope I ov this month!!!!
