How gutted to log on and find that someone had beaten me to the 1000 post and I couldn't update on the old thread.

Particularly as I got my BFP last night!!! I'd had two BFNs last week and was expecting AF to arrive while on holiday but it never came... Got more and more convinced that I was pg (feeling a bit sick too) as the weekend went on and literally tested within 10 mins of arriving home. Poor DH was still unloading the car as I greeted him at the door with my pink line!

Very excited although a bit apprehensive too. Really want to tell everyone but obviously don't want to this early so am REALLY pleased I have all you lovely ladies on MN to share with.

I was too excited to do more than skim the last few pages on the last thread but did see there had been several other BFPs so congratulations to all those too!

I think quite a few of use FF. I used the basic freebie package after my initial VIP ran out and found it to be completely serviceable. However, it does lack some of the nice little features, so I ended up paying for a 3 month package. It's quite reasonably priced, but not necessary if you're prepared to miss out on the little extras. HTH x

Hi everyone...I'm ashamed to say I have been a notorious lurker on here. I didn't want to jinx any potential BFP by actually posting on here.

I've just had my BFP! Second line is a bit fainter but definitely visible (first response early response). This is cycle 3 for me and I've had a 28 day, a 35 ray and a 50 day cycle before this one so had no idea when I collated. I used clearblue OPK this month and I guess it's worked!

Just needed to tell someone as my husband is at work....can't wait to pick him up tonight and tell him the good news :-)

MrsG - Just saw your post: Congratulations!!! A BFP is brilliant news! You're going to have a long wait to tell DH! Hope you don't pop in the meantime! xx

Blue I use it too, only have the basic one now, but periodically it lets me have 5 days of VIP for free.
I wouldn't waste your money, ttc is expensive enough with all the pee sticks and vitamins, never mind the thermometers, monitors, pre-seed...

I managed to SWI last night with DH, he was knackered after a late night, but heroically rose (ahem) to the challenge.
Afterwards I confessed that I thought I might be oving early, hence the pouncing, been trying to play it cool and not mention dates and temps, but he saw straight through me apparently and knew what was going on. Damn it!

I used a tampon yesterday just so I could gauge how much of it there was, with the added thinking that it would clear the immediate area for relatively clean shenanigans- I was right! Hopefully there won't be any more...

Well done Mrs G! Nice to know that those of us with irregular cycles can also get pregnant.

I'm typing this in bed thanks to a bout of food poisoning (tmi-went to loo 11 times between 6.30am and 11am) which I'm hoping won't mess up ovulation. On CD20 now so it should be imminent. Despite feeling like crap my libido has gone mad so I'm hopeful it'll be ok!

Loulou, after four months of getting stressed about ttc I also started on the wine method. I don't drink on more days than I do drink and I only have 1 or 2 glasses of wine but I feel a lot calmer so hopefully it'll do the trick.

Blue, I am finding the basic FF membership fine. If anything, the extra features feed my obsessiveness and haven't got me any closer to a bfp. I am also tight :)

Well done on pouncing on your DH Rusulka, let's hope this cycle is the one!

Had to force myself away from PingOAS this morning - I'm still 5 days till af is due and not feeling very pregnant. Hoping I can forget about it tomorrow as I'm sure it will lead to disappointment.

I'm off out tonight to see a band so will be having a couple of glasses but still not going mad, just in case ...

What a day for me! New phone was delivered so rushed to the apple store after work to find a photographer I like was doing a free talk at the shop. So pleased as punch I am. Even with the broken back seems my weekend of being spoiled started early.

Eager and scared about next Saturday . I hope my wicked AF says away and I have the willpower to not POAS til at Friday. It's going to be so hard.

my ds is sick and so ive been up with him while he is clinging and insisting on sleping in our bed and when tried to move wakes up crying mamaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
seems like loads has been going on since i posted last! the last thread got filled quickly which lets me know the support we all need and give while going through this process!!!!!

Forgot to say congrats mrsg sorry, very remiss of me.
Well I POAS this morning, an Asda cheapy one (had this thing in my head of not wasting a FRER one?!) and I think I got the faintest of second lines!!! Still no sign of AF so will test again Monday if needs be to see if I get a proper second line.
Off out soon to get a tyre replaced on DH's car since it blew up when I was going 80mph in the fast lane of the motorway last week!!

Well I'm even more confused than ever. Temp going back up a bit this morning, CP high and soft and ewcm, so thought I might be having a second pop at ov this cycle. So, dtd this morning, and when I went to the loo afterwards - spotting! WTF?! I've never had ov spotting before, so sceptical it could be that. If it's a bleed, then it's very early (again) and I've had another anovulatory cycle.... Oh I hope it's not that: 2 av cycles in a row can't be good, can it?!

I seem to be posting my chart a lot, so sorry for that, but can someone have a look?! stupid fecking chart

Wow it's been busy here!! Having a lovely weekend thus far with my mooma and moopa!! And DH made the house sparkle on his days off :) so pleased!! On a potential downside though, temp dropped dramatically this morning which I was expecting as today is technically ov day if my cycle is 29 days but not sure we can dtd as parents here! Typical! DH says we have to try so might have to be a late night very quiet quickie!!! Although did sleep with the window slightly open as it was baking hot in the room, could this affect my temp??

festie I'll be honest your chart has me completely bamboozled!! If you take away all the previous high temps then yes I would say you are gearing up to ov! I think all the stress lately may be having an impact! Spotting around ov is not unheard of, even if you have never had it before - and your other signs do point to ov! Can you dtd just to make sure?

Oooh glimpers that sounds promising!! I would not be able to wait until Monday I would be POAS again in the morning.....but that's just me!

mama5 are you coming up to ov? Or in the 2ww? I think we should charter a tram for the BFPs much slower than a plane and those 9 months will be long but I definitely want to share my journey with you all when it happens :)

Oh mooley, what would I do without you?!! We managed a quickie this morning, so if I am about to ov, we've got it covered! No spotting since, so maybe SWI related, or even a bit of ov spotting (you never know!) It would seem weird for af to show just as my temp starts going up.

Don't think an open window would affect your temp that much. Sure you can sneak in a quickie in the quiet!!! Have a lovely weekend. x

Didn't manage to POAS this morning as I went to bed too late and peed about three times in the night so there was no FMU to test! Will try again tomorrow.

festie I love your dedication to the TTC cause! I'm definitely not a morning person so DH has no chance of a quickie or anything! In fact I think he'd think I had been replaced by aliens if I propositioned him before lunchtime
moowoo I was going to hold out til Monday as I thought at least if there is anything to find, there would be more by then. But I may cave in and test tomorrow
As for your current logistical issues with mooma and moopa being there, I remember me and DH taking a trip out in his car one night to dtd as we were on a course with the Army and couldn't get it on anywhere else thank God for leather seats
