Ha! Well done on the gold star impatient.

ImpatientOne · 21/02/2012 09:20

Grin thanks freedom

Just have to wait and see if it's enough! I'm sure that staring at pregnancy charts on FF is guaranteed to help implantation isn't it? Confused

Lugsie · 21/02/2012 11:10

Yes that should definitely help impatient Grin I spend ages staring at the app I have on my phone, its hard not to get obsessed!

freedom we don't manage every day either but I'm sure that every other day should be enough.

becky78 · 21/02/2012 11:48

Hi girls, could I join you? I have one DS who will be 2 in May so am TTC #2. We have only been TTC for one month so I know it is early days but before I had DS I had a mc so am a bit paranoid about symptom spotting etc. Got pg first month after we started trying after mc so had fingers crossed for this month but af arrived yesterday so a bit depressed (+ usual pmt!). After mc I found these message boards really supportive for finding like minded people trying to pretend they're not obsessed about TTC! :o I have followed this thread and you guys seem like a nice bunch and I would love a 2012 baby.

My stats are: becky78 (33) TTC #2 cycle 2 UCL 29 AF now, due again 20 March.

Sorry I can't add to the list myself but I'm rubbish at doing that on my phone.

BTW we definitely don't manage to swi every day, every other day in the key weeks is the best we can manage - we're not as young as we used to be!!

Lugsie · 21/02/2012 12:38

Hi becky and welcome Smile

AF is currently here for me too (CD4) so know the feeling of feeling down/PMT! But looking forward to getting on with the rest of the month. Will add you to the stats - your next AF due date is the same as mine Smile

SleepyCaz (32) TTC#3 Cycle 18 (but have had 2 MC's in that time, so Cycle 7 since last one) AF due in 6 days time MIA

ImpatientOne (31) TTC#1 Cycle 5 UCL 27 days AF due 24 Feb
freedom2011 (33) TTC#1 Cycle 5 UCL 41 days AF due 10 March
RedRobin36 (20) TTC#1 Cycle 13 UCL roughly 31 days, AF due 1st March (my birthday!)
Lugsie (27) TTC#1 Cycle 10 UCL 31 days AF due 20th March
becky78 (33) TTC #2 cycle 2 UCL 29 AF now, due again 20 March

ImpatientOne · 21/02/2012 12:59

Hello becky and thanks Lugsie for keep stats up to date and feeding my OCD Grin

I am doing early nesting today :) I have made 2 different soups, roasted a stack of Mediterranean veg and fried loads of aubergines to make my DH's favourite meal. We will now eat healthily for a few days at least!

Must get on with some work this afternoon! after watching a but of Pointless then checking FF again

eversomuch · 21/02/2012 21:27

Just a quick update from me: still no AF, which means I'm three weeks late as of tomorrow. Haven't tested since last week, but have had no symptoms, so am assuming my hormones are still out of whack. Planning to test again next week if no AF or other change.

I guess I could cut back on the BFing if I wanted to increase my chances, but I love that time with DD so much that I don't really want to. DD (11 months) has between two and four feeds a day now (depending on whether she wakes during the night), but they're all pretty short, around 15 mins max, and I did get a period last month, so my body must be adjusting, right? I just wish it would get a move on! Before my first pg, AF was as regular as clockwork, so this unreliability is really something to get used to.

Regarding SWI ... um, we pretty much try for at least once a day between AFs. Don't always manage it, but I figure that's the best way to not miss our chance.

Sorry to hear AF arrived Lugsie. Fx for next time, and for everyone else approaching their window.

ImpatientOne · 23/02/2012 20:58

Thanks for the update ever and well done on your SWI everyday and with BFing and DD!!! You put me to shame with your organisational skills Grin

Are you still here Hearty? Any news?

I'm just about staying sane in the TWW but not long to go for me now :)

Lugsie · 24/02/2012 15:01

Wow - I am also impressed with the every day swi ever! Theres no way we could manage that and we don't even have any kids yet! Grin Sorry to hear that you're a bit in limbo at the moment, even though its disappointing when AF arrives its still nice to know either way isn't it? Sounds like you're doing everything you can swi-wise though so fx it won't be long till you get that BFP Smile

impatient - isn't your AF due today? Any news?!

ImpatientOne · 24/02/2012 15:34

Yes Lugsie it is, well according to FF yesterday actually Confused I'm a bit nervous of saying anything in case AF arrives - as if me posting here will make it happen Hmm

No news really, am trying very hard not to get excited but struggling as usual. Something positive is happening tho as I haven't had my usual pre-AF spotting which I would have expected from Weds, so at worst I seem to have managed to extend my LP with the B vits.

I did POAS this morning but BFN - but because of my funny cycles I am only 9dpo so it was early to test.

bugoven · 24/02/2012 15:58

Hi, can I join please?
Have been staring at various iPhone aps and sharing with my closest and bestest friend but need to give them a break I think!

Me(28) TTC#, Cycle 3, UCL 32days, AF 8th Feb (I know - now really late...

but not overexcited due to abnormalities that may be TMI for now.

ImpatientOne · 24/02/2012 17:16

Hi bugoven sorry you have had a long wait and some other issues but glad to hear of another iPhone app junkie Grin There are many servers containing information about my cycles out in the cyber world! This week I am favouring FF :)

Have added you to the stats;

SleepyCaz (32) TTC#3 Cycle 18 (but have had 2 MC's in that time, so Cycle 7 since last one) AF due in 6 days time MIA

bugoven · 25/02/2012 17:04

I really thought conception would be more black and white but realise I was pretty naive. Feel silly reading aps congratulating me on 7 weeks of pregnancy when that's not really true and feel like I'm lying - so silly but I am the sort of person who apologises to a lamppost I nearly walked into and thanks an ATM for cash.
Thanks for welcoming me Smile

RedRobin36 · 26/02/2012 01:26

Hi everyone!

Welcome to becky and bugoven :o glad to have you join us --crazy obsessive- ttc'ers! I agree, i assumed i'd be off the pill and get pregnant by DF just looking at me! I think it is so drummed into us about using contraception and that missing a pill will definitely get you pregnant..that we have a false sense of security when it actually comes to ttc!

Sorry about af Lugsie on to the next month :)..i think af will also show up for me either tomorrow or in the next couple of days..i ovulated earlier than normal and have had lower back ache today and yesterday, no spotting yet though and have the veiniest, sorest boobs and nips ever, but i'm sure thats just my mean body giving false hope!

ever i hope af shows up soon for you (or better a bfp!) 3 weeks must be soo frustrating, but well done again for your swi'ing everyday you superwoman!

Impatient how are you cycle synching buddy?! any spotting yet? hope not :) all this talk about FF..i think i may just pay a visit right now and see what i'm missing out on! if i get drawn in and obsessed i'll blame you ;-)

Hope your enjoying your fertile period freedom! fx this is your month!

Has anybody tried pre-seed or the one you can get from boots that's similar to pre-seed? (the name escapes me!)

RedRobin36 · 26/02/2012 01:32

ah, bugger..crazy obsessive

Blush what am i doing up at this hour!

RedRobin36 · 26/02/2012 01:34

Confused Blush

crazy obsessive

bugoven · 26/02/2012 07:51

We haven't tried those. We did get a for-him-fertility test though and he got a BFP. Bless, he strode out the door to work looking very pleased with himself =)

RedRobin36 · 27/02/2012 10:40

bugoven that's so funny! Bless him..my DF would be exactly the same, I didn't even know you could get those, very interesting :)

Well af arrived (with a vengeance!) this morning just as I thought it would. Feeling a touch of despair! But on the plus side this is the first month I ovulated at a normal time, had a normal LP and my cycle length was 29 days ..its only taken a bloody year! Lol so hopefully now I've got them under control I'll have more luck :)

Any news impatient?

I've got another week off annual leave this week! (had to use them up before march) DF is taking me and my parents out to dinner at my fav restaurant on wednesday, then my birthday thurs so I've got things to take my mind off!

New stats..

eversomuch · 27/02/2012 11:24

robin Sorry to hear about AF, but great news that your cycles seem to be getting more regular and predictable now. Fx for next month. Enjoy your annual leave and have a very happy birthday.

Still nothing to report here. I'm planning to test on Wednesday because, hey, it's Leap Day and I like the thought of getting a BFP on a day that only happens every four years. :) No symptoms or anything yet, though, so I may just be greeted by another BFN, but I'm trying to be optimistic. Will be back with news one way or the other in a couple of days.

ImpatientOne · 27/02/2012 15:22

Hi everyone :)

Sorry about AF cycle-buddy Robin I hope that this means mine will start today! I have had spotting since Friday (v. light) but it's definitely not AF yet??? Sorry that this is TMI but last night I got stomach cramps and thought 'oh it's definitely here' but nothing Confused I usually get 2 days of spotting before AF but on day 4 now, and CD 31 when my average is 27. My temps have dropped almost to coverline so have stopped my crazy dreaming of it being early PG spotting :(

bugoven what is this 'for him' test of which you speak??? I've never even looked so didn't know you could get anything!

Like your thinking on the leapday testing eversomuch :)

bugoven · 27/02/2012 23:34

Well ... The "for him" tests are to measure concentration of sperm. They do not show quality or mobility but it was just something for him to get involved with as I seemed to be having all the fun POAS etc. They are available on Amazon for £12-£18 including postage and fairly simple to use.

bugoven · 27/02/2012 23:35

Sorry should add that 20000000 per ml or more gives positive result.

becky78 · 29/02/2012 08:11

Thanks for the welcome everyone, it is always so reassuring to know there are other people obsessing in the same way :)! Nothing to report here, AF been and gone so now cracking on with the swi, can't keep up with ever though, I don't have the time or stamina to manage everyday, that is impressive! I'm not sure exactly when I ov as I don't use any of the tests but if it doesn't work out this cycle I might have to investigate more...

lugsie it is cool to have someone due AF on the same day, you can keep me away from the madness of testing early.

redrobin sorry AF got you but like you say if your body is regulating it will be easier to know what is normal for you - maybe it is just getting geared up for carrying a baby. In the meantime happy birthday for tomorrow and at least you can enjoy a guilt free tipple :)

Any news impatient? Let us know how your leap day test goes ever, I have fingers crossed for you both.

The best ting about these threads is that when you are waiting for your turn to come around you can get excited about other peoples testing in the meantime!

Have a good day everyone x

eversomuch · 29/02/2012 08:23

Morning all. Well, I've been up since 4am. That's when I woke up, having to pee, and figured, it's officially Leap Day so why delay it any further? So I POAS and ... BFP!!!!!!!

Really delighted (wow, is it real?) but since I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, I've no idea about my EDD. November sometime is likeliest, I think, but we'll have to rely much more on the dating scan this time.

I'm planning to go to the EPU in the next week or two because I'm also concerned about my grapefruit-sized fibroids and how they may impact this pg. Waiting a little bit to make sure it's far enough along to be able to detect a heartbeat. Fx!

I hope this is the start of a trend!

Now must get DD ready for a journey into London Town. (Omg, how will I do it with two???)

becky78 · 29/02/2012 09:30

Yay!!!! Congratulations ever really pleased for you, that has cheered me right up whilst waiting for the delayed Piccadilly line to decide if it wants to deliver me to work today or not :)
