Well its about time you had a new thread.
I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your trying to conceive and say that it might take weeks months or years, but you won't find a better group for support.
We have all been through the same experinces and talking to someone who has felt the same makes a world of difference.
You will all get your BFP's soon and in the meantime, lets try and keep as calm and de-stressed as possible.

Anway......... erm.....

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 09:31

I think I would then have to miss out coz I already live 2 hours from London so any further would be a rpoblem for me This is gonna be hard

carlychristmas · 28/11/2005 09:49

Aww Cmon mums you cant leave me to drive all the way there on my own although would be lying if i said i wanted to go to London. Am very scared of being in a big City that has lots of roads

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 09:51

ewcm is a good indicator of OVing so fingers crossed!!

carlychristmas · 28/11/2005 09:58

Thanks SH But am banning myself from testing until my af is due otherwise i will drive myself crazy and will only use one test (yeah right ) are there any other symptoms too? cos yestersday and today have been feeling a little nauseous (sp?) i know i wouldnt feel the symptoms of pg so soon but wondered if poss it could be a sign of ov or fertilisation?

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 10:13

Yeah you could feel nauseus withthe hormonal changes, I also get an achy feeling too. Not like period pains, just a heavy kind of ache.

mumsXMASwish · 28/11/2005 10:54

I've got such a headache! I'll be so glad to get home and take some pills. Once I've been dentists of course!

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 11:12

my garland - wheres abouts do you live, are you cloe to birmingham?

OP posts:
mumsXMASwish · 28/11/2005 11:45

right then ladies this is your 15 min warning. I'm going home in 15mins.

Birmingham is much closer to me and mygarland. Its only about 1-2 hours drive

Atomicstockinghanger · 28/11/2005 11:53

But Birmingham is about 5 hours from me

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 12:40

birmingham is 25 mins from me, but i really want to meet stockinghanger and as this was all her idea i don't think we should really go somewhere that is well beyond her means. Unfortunately ladies if you can't make it to london then you may have to miss out. Hope that doesn't sound too harsh. But the meet is going to be in London there is no question about that, everyone would love you to come and love to meet you, but if you can't make it then we won't be able to.

Atomicstockinghanger · 28/11/2005 12:46

If you are interested in coming, I am thinking of booking the Bella Italia in Leicester Square. It is quite cheap (for London) and for those of you that will be bringing kids, it has a good kids menu. Was thinking of booking it for abou 3pm.

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 12:58

stockinghanger - sounds good, put me and DH down please.

OP posts:
mygarland · 28/11/2005 13:27

diddle - i live in telford right on the west edge! i've just checked route on the aa and that said 3 hrs 50 mins right into leicester sq which is less than i thought and obv i won't be driving smack bang to lei sq so that'll cut driving times down too. will have another chat with dh 2nite bout it throw some ideas around (with or w/out kids or him etc) cos i'd really love to c u all. u don't sound harsh cos i know that that's the deal take it or leave it, i'm not easily offended!

if we have another meet after this one then could i suggest my house. i'll cook (or buffet) so it's cheap food and also there'll be entertainment for the little ones (if anyone brings them but mine'll obbv be there!). it's also central to most except ash (ch) . but perhaps if it was over easter then ch could poss stay overnight (with or w/out boys) and get flights or we could work something else out? x

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 13:55

mygarland - thank goodness was worried after i posted that it was a bit too harsh, glad you're not offended. Sounds like a lovely idea to meet at yours, very generous, we'll have to do that as well. when we've all saved up some more travelling pennies It would be lovely if you could make it to london as well. hope you manage it. i'm not far from telfrod, in Stourbridge, do you know it?

OP posts:
mygarland · 28/11/2005 14:13

i've heard of it but only lived in telford since feb used to live in north east before so only just getting to know way around! i hope i can make it to london too with have to give dh special treats!

slinksanta · 28/11/2005 14:55

hello all, how is everyone?
thought i'd add a suggestion for the meet, maybe something like lazy daisy cafe, it as toys etc for kids and menus like fish fingers and beans. it's on portobello road near notting hill gate tube. i haven't been but as im in london i could test it for you

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 16:00

sounds nice slink - what are the prices like?

OP posts:
Atomicstockinghanger · 28/11/2005 16:08

Ooo, slinkie, have they got a website? Sounds nice

And Mygarland, thank you I may well take you up on your offer

mygarland · 28/11/2005 16:16

it's no bother as long as dh doesn't find out bout your moonlighting/sideline as a trucker! lol

like diddle said what's the prices like for both places mentioned? so i know how many pennies to save up if i persuade dh to come, x

Atomicstockinghanger · 28/11/2005 16:31

I can do a link to the Bella Italia for everyone to see

Atomicstockinghanger · 28/11/2005 16:32

this is the menu at Leicester Square

slinksanta · 28/11/2005 16:37

they don't seem to have a website, but have a few reviews on the internet, some say value, so can't be too expensive. childfriendly website\link{http://www.childfriendly.net/view/place/101} has a review

there is this other place too bluekangeroo\link{http://www.thebluekangaroo.co.uk/}
it might be a bit far out of central london though
