Well its about time you had a new thread.
I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your trying to conceive and say that it might take weeks months or years, but you won't find a better group for support.
We have all been through the same experinces and talking to someone who has felt the same makes a world of difference.
You will all get your BFP's soon and in the meantime, lets try and keep as calm and de-stressed as possible.

i haven't spoken to them as i live 200 miles away as of Feb. it was dn1's 11th bday on bonfire night and i've bought her a book on ghosts - not really appropriate now. i just really feel for them dn2 will be 10 in feb, that's just soo young to lose a grandparent not that it gets easier with age but. i'm just sooo shocked

Stockinghanger · 25/11/2005 15:28

BOO

Stockinghanger · 25/11/2005 15:33

HAHA!! I'm back!!

Took DS£ to Kid Safari but had to leave after 15 mins coz their heating had packed up- it was 5 degrees in there and it was far too cold for the kids to play so ended up back here with hot choccie and cake!! The went to a friends.

We have had snow here but just a sprinkle and it hasn't settled at all. But it is only 1 degree so theres hope for tonight Is it snowing in London?

Well, you have all beed very chatty! Can't remember everything you all said but I will say Mygarland, sorry to hear abou the family lose Why do these things happen at these times? We have just learnt my aunty (mums brother's wife) has been diagnosed with cancer and it doesn't look good at all they have 2 young children and my uncle is an olser dad so its all a bit worrying. Terrible thing is she had been going to her GPs for a year complaining she wasn't well, but he fobbed her off and treated her for menopause Uncle took her to see his GP and he found the cancer!! What is the medical profession ocoming to?

Well, less of the morbid stuff!

Hope you are all nice and warm and cosy

mygarland · 25/11/2005 15:44

HumphreysCorner · 25/11/2005 16:08

mygarland and Stockinghanger-very sad news from you both

Midwife has been-scan is on the 13th December at 9.05am-it is a work day and as I can't tell them I am going to have to ring in sick stressing about it already.

Just waiting for DD to be brought home by mum and dad. Watched Walk Away and I Stumble this afternoon-how sad!

Anyway, love and hugs to all.

xxx

Stockinghanger · 25/11/2005 16:10

You've all gone again, haven't you?

Bugger! I knew there was something else I was going to say..Mincepee! Normally when I log on at 8 in the morning there have been early birds chatting already! I realise it is an ungodly hour but unfortunately I am up long before that! Anyway, I like to chat to my friends in the morning, it keeps me sane, a world away from spilt readybrek and burnt toast! And I am really glad your DH is home! Enjoy him Mincepee and tell him well done for passing! xx

Was having a think about this meet. Can I suggest we do late lunch somewhere where all are welcome. I know HK might want to bring the kids as she won't have anyone to babysit. I know Diddles DH will want to come to make sure she is safe (he already thinks I'm a stalker ) and I think my DH might like to come too. Its up to you as individuals whether you come alone or with DH/Ps or children, all will be welcome!
Mincepee, if you know of anywhere that would welcome all ages, I would be really grateful xx

Stockinghanger · 25/11/2005 16:11

HC, don't fret over a little thing Just tell them you have a doctors appt. Or phone in sick Please don't get too worked up, or I will just have to start worrying about you too!!

mygarland · 25/11/2005 16:27

congrats hc on your scan date, tell them the truth-ish say something like u've got to go to hospital for an appointment but try not to say much else?

mincepee · 27/11/2005 07:32

I NEED A LSIT OF ATTENDEES AND HOW THEY ARE TRAVELLING TO LONDON.
IF BY TRAIN, WHICH MAIN LINE STATION WILL YOU BE TRAVELLING IN TO?

I AM EASY
I live in west london. I don't pay on public transport, mainline trains and have subsidised fares on european travel including Eurostar. We could all meet up in Paris! How cool would that be!!! I normally go out to their sales. They start about 21/01 not like here.

Stockinghanger · 27/11/2005 11:25

Well, Paris is almost as close to me as London, so its a posiblity

I will be coming up via road then tube I think. Usually leave car at fil's at end of District line then jump the tube there.

I am completely fine with where ever we go. I'm easy!! hehee!!

jinglediddle · 28/11/2005 07:59

morning ladies - Paris sounds fab but can't really afford it, london would be better we'll be driving too, not sure where to, but we're coming from the Midlands.

Where could we all meet up, you London experts must know somewhere, nice and fun and not smoky!!!

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 08:20

Morning all!

Right this meet up.

21st January.
2pm ??
London Town
All welcome - those of you who would like to bring DH/P and/or kids are more than welcome to.

Somewhere that isn't to far from a tube station.

Somewhere where kids will be amused.

Mincepee, sorry to be asking you but I know you are from London so probably know somewhere, and if not you might know someone who does know of somewhere we can go.

I would love to meet you all. Sayurday nights meet up has given me the bug!

It was such a great night! Meet so many wonderful people!

Cori, if you read this - it was fantastic to meet you hun xx

xmasspub · 28/11/2005 08:34

Guys, Can't make it as 1) I'm in Scotland!
2) and most importantly, it's dd's 3rd birthday and huge party that day.
Will be thinking of you all, though!
SH - how was Sat? Was everyone lovely?

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 08:36

Awww shame Spub but you will have a cool day with DD

Saturday was realy good and everyone was lovely. I think those who didn't go are disappointed there was no gossip, but everyone was genuinely really nice

mumsXMASwish · 28/11/2005 08:55

Morning people.

Only half a day today as I'm going to the dentists to have a filling (can't talk on the phone with a numb mouth)

Whats everyone else doing?

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 09:07

Nothing much Mums. Got to go shopping later for food, nothing exciting Then I must do some housework. I really neglested the house last week coz I wasn't too well.

Speakking of which, I completely lost my voice for the meet on Saturday! Typical! Woke up Saturday morning and I couldn't talk! DH was delighted!

mygarland · 28/11/2005 09:08

hi girls, no news from me this wkend been boring. dh is a bit wobbly bout this meet, he's another dh who thinks u r bearded truckies! but it's not that, it's really about how far we'd have to travel ie time wise with the 3 dd's (which i'd have2 bring as dh has to come), plus we don't know our way around and would prob end up scotland!

Stockinghanger · 28/11/2005 09:10

Mygarland, won't push anyone to come because it is a long way, but it would be fantastic to meet you and your DH It is entirely up to you, hun.
