Well its about time you had a new thread.
I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your trying to conceive and say that it might take weeks months or years, but you won't find a better group for support.
We have all been through the same experinces and talking to someone who has felt the same makes a world of difference.
You will all get your BFP's soon and in the meantime, lets try and keep as calm and de-stressed as possible.

Question all...

Just wondering what the average time is after m/c for the first AF...or is it just simply a waiting game?

I am sure it is a waiting game but I am just looking/hoping for an easy answer.. (you can probably tell I have no patience, I want some things yesterday... think they call it impulsive.)

It really is a waiting game. When I had mine I waited till I stopped bleeding (after D&C) and went straight back on my pill. I recently came off my pill after nearly a yr and it took 3 months to get an af. I dont know whether things will be different for you (I take it you won't go on the pill) but it really is just wait and see. Also make sure you have one normal af so that you can sort your dates out.

ASH - i totally agree that your body is having a clearout, you're miscarriage is a lot more recent than you think. your body needs time to adjust, so many of us had the same thing as you. you'll be fine, its probably just spring cleanign time in there

damn garages i took my car all the way upi there for them to tell me they had overbooked for mot's today and could i bring it back friday?????!!!!!! GGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!! sorry rant over

Garages are pants, I hate when things like that happen. I had trouble with my car not long after I bought it. One of the warning lights didn't turn off, I had to book it in with a fiat garage (expensive) I tried 3 times to get them to fix it. AND the cheeky buggars tried to get me to pay for each visit! YEH RIGHT!

ASH no clue what's happening love but doesn't sound too good, i'd go to doc's not that the silly buggars can help but just maybe.

Carly - can't beleive the garage I'd say well no actually I can't, why can't someone else bring theirs back friday. fair enough if you were the last to book it in but they can't mess ppl around like that.

nikki - i got af 27 days after the start of the mc so you might not have to wait long, honey.

Regarding A/F..... I reckon it's clearing out time. My last 2 A/F since m/c have been really weird too. They have started off normal then have become really heavy and clotty. I reckon the only way you will work out when u r ovulating is by testing. Iwould test from the end of this A/F. Leave it for 3 days after last bleed and test for however long it takes to get a result. I have stocked up on some cheapo kits from Wilkinsons (3.99 4 5) and the internet(slightly cheaper). It's costing me a small fortune but the end result will be worth it. I am having to pay for my prescriptions too.

I had to go looking for my passport and stuff for the mortgage advisor the other day, and I found all the stuff from the mc and pg. I found my 12-wk booking in appointment card. The actual operation explanation that I had to sign and the picture I asked for. It was really hard not to cry. I found out that i've passed my D&C date tho. It was in October. Kinda sad I missed it but relieved aswel.

I know you prob don't want to hear but just thought I'd say........ dunno y

On a change of subject.

Does anyone know a website of something where you can research the chances of having twins? Was talking to mum and found out that lots of my family have had/been twins. Was wondering if that raised my chances at all

mxw - there is a website called tamba who have lots of info about twins etc, they're very good. worth looking at.

sorry to hear you found all that sad stuff, you must be a little sad about it, i've kept all mine together along with the cards we got to congratulate us etc on getting pregnant.

It was upsetting but I think I've come to the point where I know that there was nothing I could do, and I'll get my chance eventually. (even if we have to adopt) so although I miss what could have been, I'm trying to concentrate on what will.

Mums -

Thanks for all your ideas about what is going on with my Afs. I'm sure you are all right and itis just my body getting back to normal. It has only been 4 months since my MC so I suppose it is early days (although it all seems a longtime ago). Have got Docs sppt next Tuesday though so I can get it checked out,

Mincepee - will pop along to Wilkinsons for some of those cheap OV kits. Thanks for the tip

Nikki - My AF came along 28 days after my MC, so I presume my body just carried on as normal. But I know from reading things on here that it is a bit of a waiting game. You will get your Af when she is ready to come, and it will be the most welcome AF you will ever have !!

Well, I am almost done withthe crimbo shopping. All I have to get now is my mum & dad and DH mum & dad. And thats it!! Whoopee!!
