Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, Wine - for the first 2 weeks and Brew - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Liliana (31) ttc#1 ucl 28 af due 26th March

(I have left out the CD as it is never up to date and all we really want to know is when are people testing!)

sneaks onto bus without paying havent really been trying this month as got plans involving lots of booze coming up but snuck onto the bus by having swi on what i think was ovulation. Had very minimal swi this month so unlikely to be updiffed, but am symptom spotting regardless :) Normally 27day cycle. I think ov on day19, had 1 minute of really noticable cramping and smudge of pink on wiping yesterday (7dpo). Smudges of pink/brown occasionally today. I know it could be period, normally due today cd28 but cant help but think it would be a lovely textbook implantation. Fingers crossed! Keep thinking I only had swi once but if i was on the right day....

Seems to be a bi of a lull in BFP's this month. Come on eggies :)

I know I slacker here in the month of march but can I hitch a ride?

ColleenEatsVeg (29) ttc#1 ucl 36! af due 22 June.

I am a but clueless with ovulation because my cycle is alway different :/ but I have a March birthday and sooooo what a baby instead of cake this year :)

MeconiumHappens · 12/06/2011 20:37

Amanda ucl 27days. Not sure when i ovulate but i think usually days 15-18 thus luteal prob on the shorter side. Only been off the pill for 3months though.

stuffthenonsense · 12/06/2011 20:45

I have ordered ovulation tests, should arrive tomorrow (good old amazon prime). Have never bought them before, how do they work? And is the best time for SWI then ON ov day, just before or just after? I really should know. And does anyone know if there is any truth about the myths of certain days best for boys, others for girls? (I don't really care, a baby is more important than the gender) just curious.

AmandaCooper · 12/06/2011 20:46

If it's CD15 of 27 when you ovulate, your luteal phase is on the short side but nothing to worry about. If it's CD18 then it really is a little short. Have you tried anything to pinpoint ovulation?

AmandaCooper · 12/06/2011 20:51

Vegas and gimme it's a pain ovulating so late in cycle isn't it, I'm itching to get started but realistically I'm looking at about another 16 days wait.

MrsCog · 12/06/2011 21:08

Hi everyone - been quite as have worked about a million hours this week. AF finsihed and SWI for the next 3 weeks has begun :). Now worrying though that if I get any more work stress I will 'stress' my cycle away so trying really hard to keep the stress in the office and chill out at home :) ANyone got any tips on this?

Not quite sure where my cycles are as this year they've been 27, 27, 26, 26, 38, 26, 31 .....wonders what June's will be so I have some idea of ov.....

MeconiumHappens · 12/06/2011 21:14

Amanda No, usually just go by ewcm, had ewcm on days 16, 18 and 19 ths month. Only been off pill 3 months so just dont want to get caught up in temping etc yet, i have a tendancy to get obsessive about things like poas so am going to let nature take its course and not worry anything is wrong without having given it a good chance to be right :)

AmandaCooper · 12/06/2011 22:11

You're probably just going to have a slightly longer cycle this time. Sounds like you have a sensible attitude, unlike me with my obsessive ways!

ColleenEatsVeg · 13/06/2011 08:26

I had a question about later cycles, does anyone use a fertility monitor at all and do you find it you have a 30+ cycle that ovulation is pushed back? I know this might be a no brainer

pommedechocolat · 13/06/2011 08:58

Have started thinking about monitors but at £100 not so sure yet.
The luteal phase (bit post ov) is the bit that doesn't change in a cycle and av length is 10-16 days (I think) so yes the ov bit is the bit that is longer and shorter.

mrsbullseye · 13/06/2011 09:37

I haven't used any ovulating montiors so far, but am definitely thinking of starting to if not successful this month. At the moment DH and I are SWI every other day for majority of the month but can't help thinking that this is too random to conceive.

Just entered my 2WW and already starting to sympton spot like crazy. Need something to take my mind off it all... may have to take up a new hobby (apart from SWI).

ShaggingWithIntent · 13/06/2011 10:45

Morning All!!

I've got another week until I ov so will be jumping DH when he gets home on Friday night and not letting him go all weekend :)

Dreading the 2WW again as last month I think I was bordering on insane!!

Byrnsie30 · 13/06/2011 10:54

Hey all,

Internet still down so I'm in library. No time to skim what I've missed over the weekend.
In short, I should OV end of this week so the SWI begins soon.
Good luck to all and hopefully I will be back on -line at home soon!! x

pommedechocolat · 13/06/2011 11:02

Still on every other day here. CD10 today and last month had positive opk on day 14 and a 28 day cycle. They are sometimes 25 days though so may be an ov 11/12.
I have decided that this bit is definitely the fun bit of the month. Hate hate hate the 2 ww.

Jebel · 13/06/2011 11:34

Oh god, I've lasted until 7DPO and remained moderately sane and am now going utterly loopy. Have not done any work today. DH helpfully tells me 'just don't think about it'. Yeah right. Have pain in right boob and slightly constipated. Otherwise no symptoms. Have done everything 'wrong' this month in terms of TTC so am not very hopeful (drinking too much, stomach bug, not swi enough etc). But even so am browsing the internet like crazy for symptoms.

Readynow · 13/06/2011 14:21

I'm the same - totally hate the 2ww as I find it sooo hard not to symptom spot! I'm on 4 dpo & have had some cramping but I got this last cycle so I am not too hopeful even though I still have about 10 days to go until AF due. Note to self must not over analyse every little ache & pain!!

mrsbullseye · 13/06/2011 14:27

Jebel & Readynow it's just sooo hard not to over analysis every twinge and change whilst enduring the 2WW! I also thought I had all the right symptoms last month, only to be let down by AF.

Any ideas how long you are going to wait until you start testing?

If only i'd have worked harder on my time machine then I could just jump forward 2 weeks and know one way or another.

mrsshears · 13/06/2011 15:33
