Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, Wine - for the first 2 weeks and Brew - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Liliana (31) ttc#1 ucl 28 af due 26th March

(I have left out the CD as it is never up to date and all we really want to know is when are people testing!)

thanks dreamalittleSmile

Readynow · 13/06/2011 15:58

mrsbullseye I am going to really try & hold out 'til after 22nd. My longest cycle in a long while has been 28 days so will wait until after this - if I can!!

minipie · 13/06/2011 16:21

Afternoon all

Tried my first ovulation stick yesterday (cheapie off Amazon) - got a faint line clearly meaning Not Ovulating. Not surprising really since it was only CD7 for me but wanted to have a practice run! will try again tomorrow.

Meconium I fully intended to take the relaxed approach but after one month my uber planner tendencies have won out ... if there is more information out there (obtainable by POAS) then I want it!

Jebel · 13/06/2011 16:26

ready and mrsbullseye I am probably going to test Friday, AF due 20th. I had an HCG jab so highly likely any symptoms due to that and will also give a false positive if I poas too early. Last month it left my system by 8DPO as I poas to see when it left.

minipie know what you mean - I keep wondering how I became this woman who is obsessed with getting pg!? I guess it is because everything else in my life I have had some control over.

minipie · 13/06/2011 16:33

Yup Jebel I'm used to planning and being in control of things too - I guess I have to admit I'm just not the laid back type Grin

Liliana1 · 13/06/2011 18:39

Hi everyone, no internet over the weekend so have been trying to catch up with posts. Welcome to all the new people :)

I'm now in the 2ww :( Had lots of SWI over the weekend but still not sure as I thought I was ov'ing sat, had a temp drop friday am, but not spiked yet? Does this mean i didn't ovulate? Confused

Trying not to obsess this 2ww as went a little bonkers last time (hmm wonder how long that will last!) but have loads on at work so hoping that will keep my mind off things.

MyGoldenNotebook · 13/06/2011 18:49

Hi all!

I will be testing on Friday too Jebel! Should be due then or on Saturday. Not had ANY symptoms at all though and we did not get to do as much SWI as I wanted as DH has been very stressed at work so not feeling very optimistic ... there is also the sticky point about not getting any positive OPKS ... but you nevery know :) I'm just telling myself I must have ovulated a bit later.

Acceber · 13/06/2011 21:03

Hi everyone - tested a little early yesterday and got a ....BFN! Will try again on Friday when AF is due but not hopeful.

Damn.

Karbea · 13/06/2011 21:27

Hello,

I went and had my lh and fsh blood tests today. I need to go again back in a few weeks for another one, and then 7 days after that for the results... Anyone else going through this too?

MrsCog · 13/06/2011 22:43

Hi everyone, I'm on CD9 and got EWCM today which was great (simple things eh?!) as I didn't have any last month, so hoping for a much more normal month. SWI every other day I think - fingers x'd,

stuffthenonsense · 14/06/2011 07:11

Morning everyone!
Forgot how much fun this SWI can be! DH and I are feeling more like a young couple again instead of a couple bogged down by work/family issues.
First month of TTC and I am becoming obsessed NOOO, I was hoping to take an 'if it happens, it happens' approach, but I can feel a spreadsheet coming on.
Is CD8 too soon to start opk??

Jebel · 14/06/2011 07:13

hey golden fx for Friday, seems ages away. But really I shouldn't test until Monday.

I really am going bonkers although I promised I wouldn't this month. DH does not find me amusing at all.

AmandaCooper · 14/06/2011 08:19

Acceber that was a little early!

Pixiepops · 14/06/2011 13:20

Have just spotted Melliebobs' post - we've got another BFP!

ThisCharmingMum · 14/06/2011 14:23

Oooh congrats to Melliebobs :)

Hope this is going to continue to be as lucky for the rest of us.

AF got me today. Wasn't really expecting any different as we only SWI on CD6 this cycle before decide to postpone plans.

It does mean my cycle is 26 days this month though. Shorter than usual.

I have learnt something this month and that is that I have had all of the following symptoms and am not pregnant. Please excuse TMI.

  1. Nausea
ThisCharmingMum · 14/06/2011 14:32

Oh, and let me add to that someone randomly saying to me at work that I looked 'glowing'.

Also, on finding myself and a couple of colleagues gossiping about something, another colleague came up and said 'what's the goss, are you pregnant?'

Nobody knows I am ttc by the way!

From now on, I am not going to consider any symptoms except for a BFP.

Jebel · 14/06/2011 15:41

congrats mellie about time we got some more BFPs!

Sorry AF got you charming. Am sure you are glowing with health and ready to jump on the next bus :)

I have multiple symptoms which are of course all pre-AF also...

ShaggingWithIntent · 14/06/2011 15:49

Congrats Meeliebobs. How on earth did I miss that?!?!?

Pixiepops · 14/06/2011 15:57

It takes dedication Shagging, you can't let things like work get in the way, believe me! Wink

ShaggingWithIntent · 14/06/2011 16:07

Damn job!! I really need to get upduffed quickly so I can get outof this shit hole!!!

pommedechocolat · 14/06/2011 17:12

Just took 45 mins to feed dd her tea and now everything in the kitchen (including me) is covered in a thin veneer of fromage frais. Mealtimes suck at the moment. Wondering why I want to go through this again?!
I do however and cd11 today and swi episode 3 is on for tonight!

Liliana1 · 14/06/2011 17:40

Congrats Melliebobs - how did I miss it?!?!

My temp has dropped again today Hmm Don't know what's going on and wish I had used okp's again but thought I had it sussed last month. Does anyone 'get' fertility friend? Worried now as thought we had hit the right days and now DH is away so no hope of a bit extra swi to cover all eventualities.

SWI I'm the same - bring on the mat leave!!

OP posts:
Poppyjen · 14/06/2011 19:22

pommedechocolat my attempts at "encouraging" ds to eat some dinner have me (covered in tomato and cheese) walking slowly (crunching underfoot cheerios mysteriously left on the floor from breakfast time Blush ) out of sight holding my head in my hands counting to 10 etc etc. We seem to be going through a throwing everything on the floor and saying "uh-oh" (albeit in a very sweet way...). Don't fret, I think we'll have forgotten all about this by the time it comes along again Grin

Besides I am sure (convinced in fact Wink ) that fromage frais is very good for the skin (walls, floor....cat...)

Congratulations Melliebobs , missed that one too - so sorry Smile, when did that happen?

Liliana FF changed my ovulation date 3 times last cycle, I think it had it right in the end though, later than it initially said. Have you tried seeing what happens if you set it to the different modes (FAM or Research) when I did this it showed ovulation on a different day and one that in the end made much more sense.

No sign of ovulation for me yet, I'm CD 18 but last cycle not even a whisper of a red line on FF until CD29 so not really that surprised. Hoping that after MC cycles may have got more normal, temp certainly not as up and down as before. Ov-ed on CD21 on the cycle we conceived DS so hoping something similar happens this time Smile

wheredmysanitygo · 14/06/2011 19:44

Am finding FF confusing too Liliana, but think it takes a while to decide definitely that you've ovulated. I've had it move my date like Poppyjen

SWI I am also counting on pregnancy to get me away from a horrible job, well just the horrible boss really. Fx for both of us Grin

Poppyjen · 14/06/2011 20:07

oooh, quick update just followed my own advice and switched FF chart to "research" and it now says I ovulated on CD15 so currently 3dpo...not convinced yet will have to see what the next few days temps do. Chart is here for anyone interested Smile

Would be great if its right. Definitely a vote in favour of Agnus Castus' magical properties for PCOS cycles...
