Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, Wine - for the first 2 weeks and Brew - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Liliana (31) ttc#1 ucl 28 af due 26th March

(I have left out the CD as it is never up to date and all we really want to know is when are people testing!)

Not tried preseed but as my ewcm seemed to mysteriously vanish last month and I only got watery might be a good idea - know ff still counts watery as fertile but I never felt I had much hope last month, whereas month before I had chem preg and def ewcm. organic what was the boots one called? (also glad to see you are not 91 and I'm not the only one that messed up their stats!)

Vegasmum sorry you are having such a rough time, look after yourself.

Sod i't i'm getting very comfy here thank you very much. Not feeling at all positive, tmi i know but this months ecwm has dissapered off the face of the planet and internet cheapie OPK's have been very useful at just giving me negative results. £3 well spent there! Not. Vital stats

Boots own brand - not sure of name TBH but it's usually by the condoms, logically enough Grin

melliebobs · 01/06/2011 16:17

hi babycarmen we can be not very positive together. 2ww is sending my bonkers and a lil bit sad. Just wish af would rear its ugly head so its here, out the way then i can crack on with month number 4! The only thingthat is giving me some form of hope is this annoying period pain/abdominal pain that's been going on the past 2 days. It's probably nothing but it's the only sign/hope i've had!

babycarmen · 01/06/2011 16:27

Oh me too!! Im also on month 3 right now and had cramping past 2 days :/ but yeah..probably nothing :(
fx for us both!

MrsCog · 01/06/2011 18:10

Wow it's getting busier here! Nice (for the wrong reasons obv) to see some familiar names. I tried ov testing last month but it drove me mad, and to be honest I found it really difficult to pinpoint ov last month - no ewcm (normally get it), no burst of happiness/horniness etc, so I think it was a very subdued ov - I did change timezones 3 times so that might be why.

Anyway - I'm going to give the ov testing a miss this month and just try and relax. Just need AF to start now so I feel the next cycle is properly underway.

Did just have a lovely warm wave when I took my 'mum to be' vitamin with a picture of a pg lady on the front - can't believe I'm finally TTC (it's been a long wait) - me and Mr Cog are desparate to add a babyCog to our house!

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 18:35

MrsCog good idea to sit together, I will have someone to help me hide when DH (having changed his mind again) comes to haul me off! You will need to say "she went that way" whilst pointing in the wrong direction.

Acceber · 01/06/2011 21:46

Hello everybody - I'd like to join your group please.

Liliana1 · 02/06/2011 10:43

Setara welcome to the bus, there's a nice window seat near the front to lessen sickness for you.

Acceber jump on, grab a seat and settle in.

Amanda [pulling apart fancy dress box] would you like a moustache and flat cap to complete the look?!

Hello! May I jump on board?

In theory there is just a possibility that I might be on the Feb bus (as still no AF) but more likely it's just my dodgy irregular cycles. So I'll be realistic and join the March bus.

minipie ttc#1 ucl no idea due to recently coming off Pill, AF due no idea

Can anyone recommend a place to get ovulation testing sticks? I've decided I need to get a bit more scientific about this whole TTC thing!

PS Amanda glad to see you here!

Byrnsie30 · 02/06/2011 15:39

Hey minipie
I'm hovering between buses too, just replied to your post on the feb bus.
I got cheapy ov tests from Wilkinsons when I was ov testing. Also, I would recommend clear blue digital pg tests if you're unsure of PG result. They are much easier than interpreting lines (are pricey, but worth it!)

Liliana1 · 02/06/2011 15:52

Hi minipie welcome to the bus!

I bought ov sticks from Amazon (30 for about £5) and they worked for me. Have heard some don't like them though, guess it depends on how much you want to spend and how quick you want results. I was fairly sure approx when I was ov'ing and temp charted with fertility friend too which supported my dates and the ov sticks.

OP posts:
minipie · 02/06/2011 15:55

Ooh, I feel like such a bus tart Grin

Thanks for the ov sticks recommendations! will have a look.

Byrnsie unfortunately my BFN on monday was with clearblue - "Not Pregnant" is pretty easy to interpret Sad!

Readynow · 02/06/2011 17:29

I have been using the CB digital ovulation sticks as I prefer to see a smiley face rather than trying to interpret the lines. If you get them on Amazon they are about £12 for 7 rather than £22 that they charge in Boots!

AmandaCooper · 02/06/2011 17:38
organiccarrotcake · 02/06/2011 18:42

Grin at my place on the list. I don't know where I should be either but until I actually start producing eggs I think it's "unlikely" that I will be getting anywhere! Oh well, we can practise in the meantime Wink. Glad to see I'm not the only first timer here, too. Sometime feel I'm just ever so slightly nuts to be TTC number 3. We'll need to buy a new car as ours is a 4 seater.

Obviously that will be the ONLY change in our lives Grin.

Currently having my arm suckled by DS2, which is disconcerting. He realises that it won't work but he's ever the optimist.

loobylou13 · 02/06/2011 18:44

Can i hop on the bus please? AF has just arrived :(
