Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, - for the first 2 weeks and - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Hi all, back on the bus. First cycle of clomid this month. Ovulated really early, thank god just back from a business trip in time! Waiting for DH to come home and sow his seed. Doctor confirmed after ultrasound I should ovulate tonight but said to try tonight, tomorrow and the next day. Follicles good, endometrium good, just need DH home.

Also had HSG this month (ouch) and confirms I have an arcuate uterus. Conceiving should not be a problem but high risk of premature labour :( Anyway, need to worry about getting pg first, can handle the rest later.

ThisCharmingMum - I've been drinking far more than usual. Oh and eating pate and soft cheese and coffee and all those other forbidden things. In theory this is coincidence but I wonder if my subconscious is telling me to do it now while I still can!

Thischarmingmum, I have a week in Ibiza during the 2 week wait!! I actually need a decent excuse as to why I can't drink which is going to be tough!! Any ideas anyone???!! Thankfully it's a fairly relaxed holiday in a small town on the island, but there are a few club nights planned!!

Antibiotics? Offer to drive everywhere? Strict detox diet? New AA member?!

I have already been put on the insurance for driving so that will help with the nights out!! There is going to be a lot of drinking around the pool in the evenings (12 of us in a villa). Me and my BF will try and get my own drinks and I will pretend I am drinking!!! They will guess I am pregnant if I say I am on antibiotics!! We had told all our friends we are going with that we was expecting 2 days before my 12 week scan when we found out the baby had passed at 10 weeks. We dont want to tell anyone this time!!!

Lilyrose I'm going to be in Ibiza for part of my 2ww as well. How many pg tests should I pack do you think?!

When you going Amanda??!! I am going to be good and not take any so that I have to wait till I get back!! If yoru going to take them, then take a few as there would be nothing worse then only taking 1 and getting a faint line and not being able to confirm it!!

What a great distraction we have to get us through!!! I ovulate the week before so have the holiday to look forward to just before we go and the holiday itself and then I can test when we get back!!

Hehe I spent the whole of March (last month pre TTC) eating pate, drinking heavily, eating cheese, rare steak etc! Although I do still drink a bit in the 2ww - you don't share a blood supply then so I can't see how it could make a difference.

I was on holiday for part of my last 2WW - definitely helped pass the time, although I think part of the reason I had such a messed up cycle (no ewcm or other ov signs, late af) is because of all the flying and going through 3 time zones. Hoping for a more settled display of hormones this month!

We're going from the 8th July to 17th. It's our second wedding anniversary. If AF turns up we'll hit the clubs, it's a win win!

Evening all. The list of things I should be doing is endless, report writing, cleaning, getting fitter, eating better, organising house, gardening .... however, I seem to be spending all my time googling ways to get pg and trying any suggestion thrown at me!

Hmm, me too Liliana, pile of ironing grows ever higher. ha ha! Oh well, DH away until Friday but pounced on several times last weekend so hopefully we should be OK for timing, after all. Working and planning to do some freelance jobs too. Because after all if I do get pregnant I will need time off as I won't be able to work! Right? Plus if I do take on loads of work on then I'm guaranteed to get pg, right? Hope so anyway! What else are you all doing to avoid doing actual proper work as opposed to sitting on here or reading things to do/not do to get pg? me too Mrs Cogg, eating crisps and prawns and Danish blue and soft cheese like they're going out of fashion. Not drinking as don't but was considering taking it up! :-) xx

Congratulations! AF will turn up the day we get back knowing my luck after a week of being good!!! I might have 1 or 2 cheeky drinks!! We are lucky as the brother of one of our friends who is going owns a marketing company in Ibiza and has got VIP entrance yo some of the clubs so we get a private seas so I can sit down if I want or dance in our own area!!!

Mrs Cog, I now want rare steak so bad!! With chips! Oh and onion rings!!!!

LOL at all your 'tasks' that must be completed before BFPs. Yours all sound like much more fun than mine!

I definitely need distractions from obsessing about ttc. I don't remember getting this obsessed when ttc my DS or DD. I think it's because it's taken me 2 years to convince DH to ttc#3 so a lot more emotionally invested in this attempt. Also am 4 years older so worried that it won't be as easy this time.

I guess what will be will be.

Hey panda welcome aboard. I am on cd4 and feeling sooo impatient and nervous and worried. I want to be at the end of this month with my piss covered bfp in hand waving it about.

thanks! glad I bagged a seat. was so symptom spotting like mad last month I was quite stressed about it. it's so hard to get on with things with oh my boobs are tender what does it mean this month! :)

I got thrown off the Feb bus on Sunday so would like to hop on board!

I UCL - have been regular as clockwork until April when I think I had a 'chemical' then 26 day then this month 31!! Have only been trying since Christmas but if feels like forever. Feel like a bit of a dunce with all the hints and tips that fly around this website.

What supplements is everyone taking/trying?

Have set up fertility friend this month (not logging temperature) and wondering about purchasing some ovulation tests. Any recommendations gratefully received.

Grrrrr AF still isn't here! FF says I OV'd on CD16 but I'm pretty sure it was CD22, which means she should still be a couple of days away. I'm itching to get started, it's so frustrating!

Ooh modern you sound very similar to me! I also started ttc around Christmas (got married in December).

I haven't been taking any supplements other than folic acid & my DH is just taking multi-vitamins (if he remembers each day that is!)

I started temping & using OPK's a couple of cycles ago & I find Clearblue digital - with the smiley face - the best as I found it hard to interpret the lines on the other type. The second line never looked darker than the control line ever!

RE pineapple juice. I heard pinepple is good for inducing labour, so by that token it can't also bo good at helping implantation (that's just my laymans logic though!!)

I DTD last night just for the hell of it. DH thought it was his birthday!!
Reckon I should be ovulating around 19th, but going to order some OV tests to check due to unruly cycle lengths!!
