Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, - for the first 2 weeks and - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

I am due on that Friday too Acceber so maybe we can hold each others hands through the long old wait.

Does anyone here know about endometriosis? Since dd's crap and traumatic birth when I have af I have pains in the butmand top leg area. I thought this was due to her being back to back and nerve endings/pain signals being changed but have been reading a little about endo on the web and am now worried.
Might take myself off to the gp...

I know it is early, but do you think you have any symptoms mygoldennotebook?

I have an extreme sense of smell and I am exhausted...but I m probably over thinking/wishing it!

This month, to maximise my chances I will:

1. cut down the booze (ish!)
2. take my pregnacare religiously
3. eat healthily
4. make myself drink grapefruit juice until I OV and est pineapple in my LP!

Any other advice (other that get down to lots of BD!!)

ShaggingWithIntent - why the grapefruit/pineapple juices? Do they have magic baby boosting properties?

I read somewhere on here that Grapefruit Juice is good for increasing CM and Pineapple has an enzymes in it that can assist implantaion.... not idea if it's true but I've not really got anything to loose!!

hey shaggingwithintent remember the name from the may testing thread i think?! FX for this month.

I'm holding out till Friday to test. Still not feeling very positive. I'm hoping that pregnancy is completly symptomless. And, if AF does arrive, sod it. I didn't want a Feb baby anyway. Hmmmm i'll just keep tellingm yself that!

This month I will be heading for a mid March baby so that's not bad I guess.

The AFs are crappy but even worse is the knolwedge that every month we don't have any luck is yet another month stuck in my bloody afwul job....

lol i'm the same. I'm only sticking out this god aweful job because the maternity deal is so good! And you get an extra bonus for returning to work! Keep seeing other jobs but dh keeps telling me to stick it out for that reason

Re pineapple juice I read that it can cause uterine contractions and miscarriage in large quantities and should be avoided after OV for that reason.

SWI me too re job - and I don't get any maternity benefits at all here, so there's not even a silver lining.

Pommdechoc just read your post from Sun eve. I get these pains in my buttocks/top of leg around AF time & I was worried about endo too. I went to see my GP a couple of years ago & she just told me not to worry but it was more than likely 'spongy' joints from an oestrogen surge. This can put pressure on nerve endings in this area apparently.

afternoon all

well, having attempted to straddle two buses, I'm now definitely on the March bus as AF finally arrived yesterday .

(In fact it arrived about an hour after I'd cracked and POAS - BFN of course - what a waste of a pg test that was!)

So, it appears I have a cycle length of 40 days . I am hoping this is still due to post-Pill irregularity and cycles will get shorter from now on...

Anyway, for the moment, I am:

It's official - grapefruit juice is not easy to drink! Had to force myself ot have a glass at lunchtime with my salad (trying so hard to be healthy but I want a chocolate bar!!!)

Do you think that having a gin & Grapefruit juice would reduce the "health benefits" or is that an acceptable way to get my daily quota of the stuff?!?!?

Am sort of on the Feb bus because was ttc but have just found out we are moving in 4 weeks so have ceased swi until next cycle. Don't want to risk being pregnant while doing all that heavy lifting.

Good to see there are a couple of us ttc#3. Although I can't see organic on the stats - am sure she is ttc#3 as well?

By my reckoning peak swi period will be a week before we move. Will be tired and stressed - great ttc state of mind to be in!!!

go straight to back of bus to fall asleep on back seat for a little nap because I have to wait to get 16th June AF out of the way before can start thinking about ttc properly

March would be better than Feb actually. Already got valentines days and my bday in Feb whereas March is free except for Mothers day which would be kind of nice :)

I will use this time before I can start swi in earnest to do the following:

try to write while bus moving resulting in squiggly writing

1. Practise swi - to retain some aspect of fun rather than only thinking of it as making a baby.
2. Organising house move.
3. Doing some work on website for business I am starting.
4. Eating more healthily (cutting down caffiene, eating more fruit, eating less chocolate).
5. Walking loads - although to be fair I already do this. Just need to keep it up.

I need to have things to concentrate on so not counting the days before I can ttc, after which i will be counting the days when I can POAS.

Anyone else got stuff they could be getting on with before they potentially get a BFP?

Going to Alton Towers and going on every single ride followed by a boozy night of cocktails followed by a visit to the Alton Towers spa for numerous heat treatments is mine!
