Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, Wine - for the first 2 weeks and Brew - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

Congrats babycarmen. Well I'm pleased to announch AF finally arrived this morning, I've never been so pleased to get her ever - I underestimated the annoyance it causes when you know you're not pg, but AF refuses to arrvive so you feel like you can't get on with the next cycle! My cycles are clearly a bit crazy now, so this month going to go for SWI every other day with preseed, rather than getting obsessed with ov tests like I did last month. Have added myself properly.
Off to study my ff charts and come up with a plan re shagging. last month did a mixture of dtd every other day but missed what I reckon was the important slot and OPK. On opk got a positive on cd14 and dtd cd 14 and 15. Didn't work!
We missed dtd on cd13 as I was being a total bitch and having horrible depressive thoughts which I have noticed happens to me at ov. Anyone else get this? Very counter productive as dh has no desire to go near an insane women screeching at him.

chocolat my Dh knows all about insane screeching women - maybe they should have their own bus? (note I am generally depressive and insanely screechy atm, can't blame it on ov, af, the 2ww or anything else!)

DH has decided the most sure way to concieve is to have drunken sex! (possibly thinks it will chill me out and be less insane or maybe the only way he can put up with me?!) Guess it seems to work for all those teeneagers Hmm

Nice to see so many familiar faces (in a nice but not nice reason way IYSWIM)

Fingers crossed for us all. The Feb bus seemed quite lucky for many -lots of BFPs - so I am hoping this March bus will be too.

Clearblue have smiley faces. Used them for the first time the cycle just ended. Will give it another go this month.

byernsie i got the cheapie ones of the internet and didnt get a poitive result this month. First time ive used them. So i've either not ovulated or, what im hoping is they are bloody rubbish. But plenty of peopl have said they are fine. So it will remain a mystery. But as i WILL be pregnant this mon th it doesn't really matter!!!

byrnsie I used amazon cheapies - got 3 positive days. The line never qot quite as dark as the test strip but on the other days I didn't even have a feint line so guessing that showed my surge. It also corresponded with when ff said I ov'd and matched my dates too so fairly sure it was accurate.

Welcome shelbelle grab a seat, just mind the straddlers as you get on. (and don't mind the moustached one, if anyone asks you haven't seen her!)

ah liliana that gives me slight hope. I did get 2 lines when i would have been hoping for but they were feinter so i called it negative. So that gives me a little bit of hope! But then again few days later i got the 2 lines again!

Imustbecrazy I sympathise. I was on the pill from 18 so just 8 years but the past 3 months I have suffered something chronic in comparison to when I was on the pill! Back/kidney pain, vomiting, high temp, ratiness poor dh. But hopefully it will all be worth the turmoil!

Hi all, are most of us SWI now?

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this. It's probably TMI, but this is the MN conception thred sooo ....

I normally get good EWCM around day 10 / 11, but this month (the first month I have decided to use OPKs and the second month of ttc) I have just had LOTS of watery discharge almost every day from day 12. Knickers feeling wet a lot. I also felt very horny Blush between days 9 -12 which I've heard corresponds with ovulation (and this happened last month too). I've also had sore boobs intermittantly.

What worries me is that I used OPKs from day 9 to day 14 and got no positives. Have I not ovulated? Even if I ovulated later than this there wouldn't be time to implant would there (ucl 28). Hmm ... not sure I want to bother with more sticks as they stress me out but plan to keep monitoring EWCM.

I'm on cd2 with witch face af.
Think that the surge can come and go in less than 24 hours so you may not get a detection using them every day.
I just like POAS which is why I use them really. Bit odd possibly?! I have ov symptoms from cd7 ish to 15 ish normally so just try to dtd as much as possible then. Have ordered some stockings online just to help with that plan next week. Poor old manipulated dh :)

Some people suggest doing poks twice a day to capture the surge but I think you'd be a lot more desparate than month number 2 to consider that!

I have a secret addiction to POAS too chocolat, any excuse will do Blush

I should be SWI next weekend by my dates - had a distinct absence of ewcm last month so hoping it returns this month. DH works away but luckily dates match with his weekend home however only have a short window - poor man will be shattered Wink - and hopefully we can catch the right time.

goldennotebook I know the surge can be short and easily missed by okp and as chocolat says they advise twice a day. Also when are you testing? Mine said best time was pm and I got 3 positives - apparently, unlike pg tests, FMU is not the best. Don't panic and have fun dtd!!!

I am CD17 and SWI as have had cycles varying between 29 and 38 days since coming off the pill so don't really know when I might ovulate. Not using OPKs as people's experience seems a bit varied Confused, but watching for CM and charting temps to help me work it out.

I wouldn't worry too much goldennotebook, just enjoy the SWI :o

Lol at being addicted to POAS, hope this bus has onboard facilities...

Can I get a ticket for this bus please as I WILL be catching this one and reaching my final destination this time:).

MMC on 27th Apr and ERPC on the 4th May and AF turned up today. UCL 28 days and will be due 4th July.
