Title says it all, really. The buses are so big I find it a bit confusing - if anyone wants to share in a bit of symptom spotting and POAS, please join me! 3 DPO and already enjoying some nice imaginary nausea Hmm... please come and share your similar delusions with me...

Congratulations RunningDay! That's brilliant news.

I have decided that I am pregnant. I feel very tired and vaguely nauseous. If I am not pregnant my body is playing a horrid trick on me. I think I could test today but perhaps I'll leave it a week and see if AF turns up.

maybebabyR · 14/05/2011 10:01

Congratulations running So pleased for you!

I tested today, BFN on first response. No sign at all of AF though. Just feeling like you elli Hmm

Tanif · 14/05/2011 10:32

Congrats running!

Still no sign of AF... Testing tomorrow

ellifino · 14/05/2011 10:42

When are you due Tanif?

Tanif · 14/05/2011 11:25

I was due last Sunday Elli. Terrified to test because, in my heart of hearts, I feel it's going to be a BFN.

ellifino · 14/05/2011 12:08

Oh but that's really hopeful Tanif! Know what you mean about not wanting to test though... I shall keep everything crossed for you.

(I am turning into a contortionist on this thread crossing everything and then crossing it again!)

For no particular reason, here is a list of my imaginary symptoms:

  1. The smell of my handwash is making me feel sick. (Real reason: my handwash is cheap and heavily perfumed and is just disgusting).
  1. My tummy feels odd. (Reason: I did a tough work-out this morning which concentrated on my abdominals)
  1. I feel vaguely nauseous all the time. (Reason: I am worrying myself dizzy wondering if I am pg, and am eating tonnes of greasy, sugary crap which is making me feel ill)
  1. I am tired. (Reason: my children get up at 5am, and I am up late most nights because am so busy this week).
  1. I can't concentrate on anything. (Reason: because I am so busy wondering if I am pg Hmm).

But I know for a fact that there is a VERY slim chance that I am pregnant. Logically speaking, it would be massively unlikely.

maybebabyR · 14/05/2011 15:40

I love that elli! I have all those symptoms too Grin Except I don't have a BFP to go with it!

Good luck for tomorrow tanif I have a good feeling Smile

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 16:28

elfino Grin thats how I felt before getting a BFP this week. Last month my imaginary symptoms where

  1. Nausea (caused by Irritable bowel and dd walking up too early and me going to sleep to late)

  2. Sore breasts (was the signs that AF was due which it did)

3)Tiredness (caused by me going to bed late (Mnetting) and waking up at 5am each day cause of dd)

  1. Needing to wee all the time (me drinking far to much water or alcohol lol)
ellifino · 14/05/2011 17:32

But then on the other hand... I have just looked in the mirror and noticed break-out of spots which means af is on the way :(

emmaloupolman · 14/05/2011 18:17

I am on cd35 longest cd was last month cd34 i tested tuesday and thursday and got 2 bfn although the one on thursday i am sure i saw a fain positive line that vannished after a few seconds i will be re testing 2morrow.

been ttc #2 for 20 months also been on clomid for 3 months

Tanif · 14/05/2011 19:30

elli spots can preceed a BFP too...

emma good luck for tomorrow!

Is the dog following me around obsessively when usually she very much favours DP a sign? She's spent the past two hours curled up beside me, staring at me...

emmaloupolman · 14/05/2011 19:46

I also have had a break out of spots 2day

pigletmania · 14/05/2011 21:29

Tanif the dog taking a liking to you is a good sign, they are very good at picking up changes in the human body.

emmaloupolman · 14/05/2011 21:41

Funny u should say that my cat who never lays next 2 me just was i thought it was my other cat who always lays next 2 me roll on the morning so i can test again

Tanif · 15/05/2011 05:00

Well, couldn't wait any longer. Got up at 4.30am to test and... BFP!

ellifino · 15/05/2011 05:10

Woohoo!! Brilliant news Tanif! I would have been amazed if it wasn't. Grin

RunningDay · 15/05/2011 07:05

Great news Tanif! Congratulations! Some doggy treats in order for your 'live tester' Grin

Poppyjen · 15/05/2011 07:30

Congratulations Tanif that is fantastic news! Grin...well done to your amazing canine friend too, that's quite a skill!

Hoping your amazing resistance to the POAS mania is a good sign for me too...13 DPO here and I only have a CB Digital in the house which I have sworn not to use until either (a) a line on internet cheapie (which I have run out of) or (b) end of the week just before we go on holiday.

Hope I can hold out! Had a big temp rise this morning so feeling cautiously optimistic. All of the FF detection methods now agree that I actually ovulated (although on "research" and "FAM" they reckon I am 5DPO whilst the "Advanced" method says 13 DPO) so I guess even if BFN in a couple of days I can still hope that it is still too early Smile

Tanif · 15/05/2011 07:45

Thank you all :D DP agrees I can now look in Mamas and Papas/Mothercare etc lol. My live tester will be receiving a juicy marrowbone from the butchers tomorrow. poppy be strong, CB digitals are not cheap and should not be used lightly lol.

maybebabyR · 15/05/2011 13:01

tanif I am so so pleased for you! A million congratulations Grinx

pigletmania · 15/05/2011 14:04

Congratulations tanif that is wonderful news Smile see I told you the do theory was right Smile

emmaloupolman · 15/05/2011 14:07

Congrats tanif i also tested this morning as 8 days late and got a bfn Sad still no af i haven't a clue what is going on with my body this month

ellifino · 15/05/2011 14:30

I have just been diagnosed with a chest infection and given antibiotics.

I don't feel that bad (though I am reluctantly having to attribute my nausea and tiredness to that rather than my imaginary pregnancy) so am thinking I'll not take the abs just in case. If I'm still ill next week once af arrives I'll take them then.

maybebabyR · 15/05/2011 16:07

elli you really should take the antibiotics. You don't want it developing into bronchitis. Beans don't share your blood supply for a good few weeks, so I wouldn't worry. Better that you take them now so you are better by next week Smile
