Title says it all, really. The buses are so big I find it a bit confusing - if anyone wants to share in a bit of symptom spotting and POAS, please join me! 3 DPO and already enjoying some nice imaginary nausea Hmm... please come and share your similar delusions with me...

i meant to say mother natures a bitch! bloody phone... lol

ellifino · 09/05/2011 13:10

Yes. Some positive thinking. That's what we need MaybeBaby.

Today I feel pregnant. But it is more likely to be the tonne of quality street I ate, and the sinking feeling that I am meeting my sadistic personal trainer in an hour. Oooof.

pecka33 · 09/05/2011 13:22

thats very brave of you elli, i wish i had the motivating, just sat and ate about 20 nuts and am meant to be on a diet!! go on holiday next week...

LoveInAColdClimate · 09/05/2011 13:28

Hello all - sorry to have started the thread and vanished, but I ended up being away for a few days without computer access. Sorry to hear about your BFN, mellie - perhaps you will still get your BFP if you're testing early? Sorry to hear about your MC and CP too, maybe.

I also have a feeling this just isn't my month, but am still symptom-spotting with the best of them. Do feel quite sick, but am only 6 DPO so clearly is entirely imaginary - or maybe the fact that I have just eaten a huge slice of Spanish omlette and am too full!

Any metallic tastes or sore boobs to share with the class Grin?

Oh, and I also had quite a bit to drink over the weekend at some family celebrations, and am now racked (wracked?) with guilt, but only 6 DPO today so surely wouldn't have implanted yet? Good luck everyone - I look forward to hearing about your symptoms.

very sore boobies!! to the point where i cant touch them???

weimy · 09/05/2011 15:03

I have given up symptom spotting, there seems to be no point.

I didn't temp or poas at all this month only swi every three days so tbh I would be surprises :)

not long till the weekend girls :)

LoveInAColdClimate · 09/05/2011 17:16

Only has to be one sperm, though, weimy - this could be the month! Jealous of your sore boobs, pecka - that sounds positive. I am hungry, which clearly means the Imaginary Baby needs extra nourishment, so I have had some toast Grin

OP posts:
pecka33 · 09/05/2011 17:46

ha ha love, the thing is my boobies are always sore two weeks prior to my af so not counting it as a symptom to be honest, just plain old bad luck!!
ive eaten for england today, toast,eggs,ham,cheese,x3 kiwi fruits and some nuts!!

maybebabyR · 09/05/2011 18:32

That's a good balance though pecka, carbs, protein, some of your 5 a day..... Smile

My boobs aren't sore, just enormous today! And funny feeling in my tummy that I cant put my finger on....

martine66 · 09/05/2011 20:03

Hi can I join you? i'm hoping to test after 16th when af would be due but I have had some symptoms full boobs and weird aches in pelvic area started last monday :)

weimy · 09/05/2011 20:42

I always get those symptoms which is why I ignore them now :(

maybebabyR · 09/05/2011 22:00

I know exactly what you mean weimy I am trying to ignore them too!

ellifino · 10/05/2011 06:48

I have just realised I am hosting a baby shower the weekend af is due.

This will be the third baby shower I have hosted while ttc, plus one more I went to but didn't host.

I know everyone says that as soon as you start ttc everyone in the world is pregnant except you, but I feel I have been particularly singled out! Since starting ttc there have been 12 newborns in my fairly immediate social sphere. All women I see on a weekly basis.

LoveInAColdClimate · 10/05/2011 09:20

Sorry to hear that, ellifino - know just how you feel, although I don't have quite that number of babies around me! Someone in my office is now very visibly and glowingly pregnant and I found out by chance that we started TTC on literally the same day. Let's hope this is the month for all of us.

weimy and maybe - I am another who always seems to have symptoms that go nowhere... no idea if I imagine them or if that is just how I feel in the TWW. Boobs feel a bit sore today... but on the other hand so does my leg if I poke it as vigourously as I've been prodding my boobs!

maybebabyR · 10/05/2011 10:25

Hahaha love Can't remember which thread I read it on, but apparently you can google anything and put pregnancy with it, and it comes up as a symptom Grin

Sorry you are feeling down elli hopefully this month will be your month!

ellifino · 10/05/2011 10:43

No need for any sympathy my way. I am feeling stoic and determined, not crushed and weepy. And I have lots to take my mind off things this month. Besides which - I don't feel pregnant at all so am not getting my hopes up iyswim. I've sort of already decided that I'm not. Which is a pisser, but there we are. Maybe next month will be mine.

Although - does everyone else daydream the scenarios in which you will tell people the marvellous news? One of my favourite delusional pastimes.

maybebabyR · 10/05/2011 10:55

I like your resolve elli

I had one of those daydreams yesterday. I go through many senarios of telling various family members and friends. Then I went and had a glass of vino!

LoveInAColdClimate · 10/05/2011 12:39

Grin I also spend a lot of time indulging those fantasies of telling people the good news. Deciding who I would tell early, whether we would tell both sets of parents together, etc. I also spend quite a bit of time wondering whether I would tell my boss before 12 weeks if I had bad morning sickness and needed time off - obviously I can't just say how I feel when I do get pregnant but must decide now Hmm.

maybebabyR · 10/05/2011 13:15

Haha, nice to know I am not the only one! This whole TTC lark does make you feel slightly fruit-loopish Grin

ellifino · 10/05/2011 13:32

My favourite one is where I am at early running practice and have to head into the bushes to throw up, and then when people express concern I get to say "no not sick, pregnant" and carry on running and everyone is really impressed.

I am such a nob Blush

maybebabyR · 10/05/2011 13:34

Brilliant! I have had similar running ones too. And also gym related ones, slightly less impressive when you throw up on the gym floor.

I just like to think of it as preparing for all scenarios?! Grin

ellifino · 10/05/2011 13:52

Ha ha so glad it's not just me!

brimfullofasha · 10/05/2011 13:53

We've been trying 4 months. I know what you mean. It isn't long at all but it feels long. I am very prone to getting obsessive about things. Tried an OPK this month and got a Smile. AF due Friday-Sunday. I convinced myself I was pg as have sore boobs, thirsty, dizzy. Caved and did a Early Response test and got BFN but am holding on to the fact that people on here say they're rubbish.

A couple of my friends have recently had babies. They started trying thinking it would take ages and got pregnant immediately (before they really wanted to be). I didn't start trying until I actually wanted to be pregnant and predictably it hasn't happened yet. Sod's law!

LoveInAColdClimate · 10/05/2011 14:00

Hahahaha, loving these scenarios! I am obviously not using my imagination enough.

In symptom-spotting news, I am finding the edamame beans I am eating quite revolting... clearly I must be with child, rather than that pre-peeled beans from Boots are not delicious Grin
