That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

cd15 for me got egg on 13/14 but only mananged to bed on cds 11 & 14 so prob not much good but will see.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

CD27 for me. After the light AF on CD22 I still haven't had the full flow. Goodness knows what is going on.

Hi,
Has anyone got any news?

My AF arrived in full last night, CD28, 6 days after first 'spotting'. I do hope this isn't a regular thing. 7 to 10 days of AF is bad enough without a 6 day run up!
My Mum said that she used to get this and she was given a scrape (sorry if TMI)to sort things out. Has anyone else heard of this. I am talking about 20 years ago so it may not be done anymore.
Sounds awful but I am willing to try anything to get things back on track.

Hi 3Catstoo and everyone else on here! CD11 today started peeing on sticks again yesterday! Faint 2nd line today but not enough for the O to appear yet.

Got my Fertility Clinic appt next week and a little nervous to say the least. Don't know what to expect - anyone? I have had bad experiences with pregnancies before and I'm half expecting them to say and you want to do this all again!?

Sorry about AF 3catstoo can't offer any info on the spotting.

I'm into the 2ww but don't know what day i'm on because i 've decided that once i got a green after ov & done all my tests i wouldn't check Persona again until af. I am getting to know my cycle too well & thought this might take the pressure off. I hope it doesn't affect Persona in anyway not being opened.

Im now around 4 days overdue for AF,I have had slight AF aches and very tired eyes but thats it.So its a waiting game at moment

comiserations of AFs and good luck with tests. I have a couple of questions
Does anyone know why the egg symbol doesn't appear some months (I'm on my second month and haven't got one yet CD15 but all other indications point to ovulation now
And
after the first month do you always do the tests on the same days?

Hi

I still havent got AF now 6 days late.I did test last week but it was on my AF due date.Not going to test yet as last time I was pregnant,it didnt show till 2 weeks past AF.

Peachygirl,
Either you haven't ovulated, or you haven't done a test when your hormone levels rising indicates ovulation and so the machine hasn't received the information to put up the egg sign.
Your machine will decide when to ask you to test, based on previous data. I think it must change the test dates from month to month as it is looking for ovulation, the fertile period you ate normally trying to avoid if using Persona as contraceptive.
I have only had the egg sign up 2/5 cycles and have now resorted to additional OPK on the days I am not asked to test by Persona, just to see whether I really am not ovulating. I don't think I am.

Its interesting you say that because up until last month I was ovulating on days 16/17, I temp too, so knew something was going on but last month, my first with Persona, I had lots of stress family bereavement , work v hard at mo and ovulation according to persona came on day 13/14. I have a 25/26 day cycle. Indications seem to suggest I have just had an Ov but the persona hasn?t picked it up.

Shanks - I've got my fingers crossed for you sounds promising.

This is my 3rd month on Persona & i have had the egg sign each month 2 at 13/14 & 1 14/15. I always have to test cd6 then it usually starts around cd11 & finish 1 or 2 days after egg sign. The thing is with me for the last few months although i get the cramping around ov, i'm not getting the cm (sorry if tmi).

I'm into the waiting at the moment & trying desparately trying not to 2nd guess every symtom.

Jag try oil of evening primrose for the CM It's really worked for me get high dose capsules and take them up until ovulation. It's good for other stuff too, skin, tender breasts etc

hi ladies just to ask where the best place to get one and how much, been trying for a year, gp wont help, tried ovulation sticks from e-bay but dont know if they work

Trace I just saw your post on the persona thread I got mine from Ebay. It was £21, some people on the thread paid less, otherwise you can get one from boots, superdrug etc they cost about £65. the persona website is quite good

Thanks for the Evening Primrose tip Peachygirl. I will give it a try next cycle.

I was really lucky with my Persona got it for £7.49 incl p&p & it works great. There were quite a lot on there at the time though so it prob got overlooked. I felt a little bit guilty for the seller getting it so cheap.

Welcome Trace2 hope that you have good luck with Persona. I get my test sticks online from AccessDiagnostics its £8.49 for a months supply (8 sticks) but remember you will need 16 sticks for the 1st month.

Hi all,

I need some help with my Persona. It has gone funny today.
CD6, I got up expecting the yellow light to flash but the monitor still said CD5. This was at 7am. My testing window is usually 6am until 12. Checked it again at 8.30 but still said CD5. I decided to check it again 10 mins ago, so 11.30. It now says CD6 and wants me to do a test. After 2 cups of tea, breakfast (and a sneaky slice of tiffin) not sure if it will be a valid specimen anyway.
The battery sign isn't on so not sure what's going on.

Hi again,

I spoke to Persona helpline. They said it would depend when I pressed the M button. How silly of me, I didn't even think about it when I pressed the button and can't remember what time I pressed it. It's just a pain now as I will have to wee in a pot and keep it safe until 11.30 each day. As DH doesn't even know I have a Persona that will be fun!! He thinks I'm just using a saliva monitor. Maybe I should just tell him and then he will realise just how serious I am about number 4.
