Newly updiffed and freaking out about spotting, cramping, the wait until your first scan and each little twinge? Settle in for lots of hand holding and supprt until you're ready to move to grads.

Thanks for the thoughts and hugs folks, feeling a bit wibbly tonight, but we arent going to do lanterns as want to wait for DS to be about for that. DH doesnt think like i do about it so want it to be special for me and son. xx

Do it your way Nix - I don't think my dh has any idea when the DD is and certainly wouldn't see any point in doing something to mark it. I want a dh brain - am so sick of being scared and trying to pretend I'm not ...

Nicks your lantern sounds like a lovely idea. My due date is looming in a few weeks and thinking I may do the same with DD. (Not sure DH is really that aware of when it is)

Nope! I don't want to be on the list, as I was well over 12 weeks when this room was invented. Plus I gave up on lists long before I got the bfp. My next scan is 14th March and it's the 20 week one. I'm not shitting myself, honest.

Big DD hug and sympathy for wibblyNix - my 12 week scan was booked for my due date. You can imagine the wailing that caused. Bloody awful timing.

Aye up campers! We finally got a house, baby shall have a nursery whooop! Was starting to think we'd never find one but we viewed another 5 today and the last one was the one and we've had our offer accepted, so hoping that all goes smoothly and with a little luck the house and business will be ours by April! Phew!

I had a decadent weekend of, wait for it, Mojto's Grin of the virgin variety and I can tell you that you can't taste the difference Grin Honestly, blooming loverly. So great I got the recipe from the bar man, anyone want it, just shout.
Oh and I am now officially huge, existing bra's are a pointless item that no longer can be worn, even with extenders, without inflicting painful marks, jeans are out and leggings are in... please please please will 12 weeks hurry up and arrive so I can buy some maternity wear!

Hope you are all well, I'll try an do a proper catch up tomorrow Smile Night all Smile

Sorry for being quiet, I spent the weekend sleeping and worrying (and trying not to worry) :( then went to take some shoes in to be re-heeled and the man was rude so very uncharacteristically I burst into tears. I think it broke the dam cos I cried for about 2 hours after, then felt a lot better :)

Hello people :). Sorry I've not been around but we've got the auditors in so I'm manically busy at work and lots of late nights.

8+4 today EDD 7/10/11 next scan 3/3/11

Although there are two so they'll prob be early but they haven't given me an adjusted due date

I expect to be more active again later this week as we have an important meeting tomorrow

Feel bleugh today and am busy cancelling meetings from home so I can go back to bed.... Suspect this is a hint of morning sickness.... by my dates I'm 7 weeks today... hospital dates are 6+4....

velvet I am avoiding a particular friend because she can sniff out a pregnancy at 50 paces - amazing skill. She almost knew before me on DD1!

Orange a good cry sounds great. I have a feeling I will be right there with you.

No morning sickness but am fighting with DH which I never really do and just want to bawl my eye out.

Dachs good luck with auditors - yuck! Glad things are going well.

MamaP have funny image of your bra twanging and buttons popping all over the place - how long do you have to wait?!

Nix how did you get to 17 weeks without the downs thing being sorted yet - I thought that test was at 12 weeks? A long delay in response sounds very positive. Friend just had a downs baby with heart problem and possible leaukemia and thyroid issues - just so scary. It is playing horribly on my mind - why am I borrowing problems -

MamaP how incredibly exciting to have found your house Yipeee! Send through the recipe. I love them. Friends used to freeze the mint mix in ice cube trays so they could whip them up in a second's notice - we liked going around to theirs!!
