Newly updiffed and freaking out about spotting, cramping, the wait until your first scan and each little twinge? Settle in for lots of hand holding and supprt until you're ready to move to grads

PV I can't bear the thought of chocolate at the moment. DH bought me a mars bar yesterday. I ate it out of sheer politeness but I didn't remotely enjoy it! I can't seem to get enough of the lucozade sport stuff, not the fizzy type IYKWIM.

Had a really bad morning with tears and all, but feel much better this afternoon, looking at old videos of DD and dancing with her. Oh if only she knew!

I counted hiw many tests I've done this time and it's eight Blush .... Only one was a cb digital and I'm not doing another.

Wow! I did my last one yesterday ... Hope not to do any more.

Latest symptoms VERY strong shooting pains bottom left of abdomen and some bottom right ... Am hoping it's expansion pangs.

Hairy I got them too... glad I'm not the only one! When I asked the nurse about it her very unhelpful response was ''you're thinking too deeply about it'' clearly she either has never mc or never been pg!!!

Thanks preeeeetty I just had my pre 'I'm shitting it' scan melt down... but mum and dh have got me back on track. Don't think I'll sleep tonight! Have you got to take drugs for the duration of the pg?

I did one pretty much every two days until 7 weeks. That was quite a lot of tests

I... erm peed on 6 sticks in total.
In my defence they were cheapy dippy things offa tinterweb.
and I do not still have them in a sample pot in the bathroom. Blush
I refuse to piss on anything that costs more than 99p I'm not crayzeey ya know! HmmGrinHmm

I have peed on just one stick Grin However, I guess I've got an advantage as have also had two blood tests for HCG so that's got to be worth a lot of sticks. Plus I'm too scared to POAS so maybe I shouldn't be so smug afterall......

I've been having lots of pains too, and back ache these last couple of days, am hoping it's a good sign. I bought "what to expect when you're expecting" the other day. It says "if you're exceptionally tuned into your body, you might feel some cramps or pulling" - er, yeah, or maybe if you're exceptionally mental and paranoid...... Anyway the book says it's all good and not a problem if you're not bleeding.

I had to run to the loos today when I was out, I was convinced I was bleeding Blush. Happily I wasn't but this is seriously stressful!!

Hi all - just ducking in to wave quickly - then will carry on pretending this isn't happening. pink I only peed on one stick two - too much of a chicken and scared to see paler line or something.
Good luck with scans tomorrow, hopefully you'll see all in right place etc.

so far all fine with me although developing a nice polka-dot effect on tum from daily injections. Can't gain how that's going to work if this progresses and belly starts tightening. Have another appt with consultant this week and I suspect after last weeks scan they'll discharge me midwife care, so am trying to work how long I think I can last before booking a private scan.
Whoever was asking about implantation - I've never had one this is 5th pg.

Thanks for your congrats on the other fred.Grin I'm 4+3 today. Doesn't feel real yet, not helped by no symptoms to speak of yet.

Am planning to spend the next 10 weeks worrying about whether it will stick, then (if we get that far) another 10 weeks worrying about whether it's healthy, then another 10 weeks worrying about whether it will come early, then (if we get that far again) the rest of the time worrying about whether it will hurt. Then the next 20 years worrying about... oh, you get the picture!

Hey emoo sounds like you subscribe to my general life philosophy of worrying constantly and even worrying that I'm not feeling worried (not that the last bit happens often)

My little bean measures a couple of mm and has a heartbeat!!! I can't stop smiling although I feel like I'm going to cry any minute! Dr reckons the heartbeat maybe started up yesterday! They've taken loads of bloods so hopefully they are looking good too.

Nice to see you nix sorry about backache-hopefully it's stuff stretching out.

just a quickie! They found the gestational sack in the right place! They are assuming that because my cycle is short and I ov late that although I'm 6+1 actually the bean is only approx at the 5 week stage, which could also account for the fact that I was getting negatives from poas for 3 days before getting the positive. Re-scan next Friday!
