Newly updiffed and freaking out about spotting, cramping, the wait until your first scan and each little twinge? Settle in for lots of hand holding and supprt until you're ready to move to grads

mama I did so many because I have had 2 mcs and have PCOS and bi-cornuate uterus - difficult to conceive - been trying for a year. The first one I did was so faint I was convinced it was an evap line because they were only really cheap internet dipsticks. So did one later that day, still no darker. Next morning the same, squinting to see it, in total shock. Did a few more over the course of that day and over the next few days. I didn't want to buy a proper one until a week after I was due AF. So did about four a day until I caved in early and bought a proper one.

LOL i did about 2 a day for a fortnight then started on the cbdigis! Dunno why, some kind of mental reassurance i guess!!!!

erm - I think I might have got through more than wombie

but I can't count them because I throw them away as I go - but I know I bought 20 and they've all gone and I've bought some more and I already had 10 in the house plus some internet cheapies so I MUST have used over 30...

It's purely for reassurance! I'm intending to stop after the first scan. Or maybe the second... (I have one at 6+1 on Saturday and then one at 7+4 a week and a half later)

have only done one....how have I managed that? It was a very definate positive though.....am I missing something???

Anyone else suffering with bloating? Sure somebody was? My stomach is driving me nuts......can't stand having my jeans on. Think maybe I'm just suffering a bit after lots of holiday food, maybe.

Am grumpy and irritable today too - double whammy of steroids and hormones, I guess.Thinking too much too - keep realising that I've got weeks of waiting to feel safe - if I ever will!Didn't help hearing about Amanda Holden losing her baby either - its' awful.

DH was being a lazy git too, so that didn't help.

Sorry for being a whinge-bag ....may now go and pee on my spare stick..

During my last mc I bought 15 Internet cheapies plus two cbd's. I used 2 IC's to see if the hcg had left my system. I think I've done 5 IC's and 1 FR (leftover from previous batch). And I'm only 4+1 today.
Waiting till next weekend to crack open the Evil cbd with conception indicator.

Can't imagine being satisfied with one test. I know it's irrational but I have so little in the way of symptoms (one vaguely achey boob this morning which has since stopped aching) that I have to keep checking somehow. I also have milk already - possibly because I keep pinching my nipples to check.

I think I have quite a busy week at work - which should hopefully keep me distracted.

My 12 is starting to look almost reasonable. Although technically it's 13 as I did one at 9 DPO and it was a bfn then got the first tiny weeny positive a couple of days later - hairy I too was convinced it was a chemical pregnancy for about the first week.

sleep yes - am sitting here with jeans undone. I have been bloated like a bloater since before I knew I was upduffed - I assumed it was normal PMT bloat but it just got worse. You wait til the belching starts.

digi I spent quite a number of hours of work time obsessively checking my boobs in the mirrors in the work loo during weeks 5-er, still doing it. One day I am going to wander out of the loos with my top still hoiked up, I'm sure of it.

Ah, boob checking - swear mine are looking more veiny already. God, I got MASSIVE norks when I was pg with dd...and as I am 2 cup sizes bigger now, Lord knows where I'm gonna end up.....not that I care, as long as I get this bloody baby!

Ha ha ha , you lot make me seem so, well, ... Normal !!! I am up to about 8 so far, all Internet cheapies. I must embarrassingly admit that I have obsessively sellotaped them in order on a piece of card so that I can obsess about whether they are getting darker or not. I'm proudly planning to cut down to maybe 2 a week until I see some ultrasound evidence that this is real! Going to see gp on tues so will see what I can get scanwise at that point.

Hairy I think you should do whatever will make you feel better, if that's more blood tests do it. So sorry it's such a horrible uncertain time. Boob symptoms can come and go I believe

My nausea actually got worse over the weekend, I think it might be acid build up or indigestion causing the additional puking. I've got a 6.30 pickup for a 3 hour drive to a meeting and am dreading it. If bean is ok and still growing it'll have been worth it

Also wishing I had more confidence in my body, just can't stop feeling doom that nausea is easing/different.

For all the peeps worrying about fluctating boob and nausea symptoms, mine have fluctuated massively all the yay through and some of the least symptomatic times have given me my most encouragng results - blood tests and first scan. Yesterday and this morning I feel sicky, so we'll see what today's scan brings...

PMSL at the pee sticks, especially the drawer that smells of wee I take it DP hasn't found said drawer!!?! I think there should also be a trophy for restraint awarded to mamap and love!! I only peed on one which on the face of it looks good but with regular scans and blood tests its not as restrained as it seems..... Have another scan tomorrow, am bringing DH along this time as marginally more confident there'll be something to see. Oh I hope so soo soooo much. Am bricking it.....

love I am the one with bloating-I bought topshop maternity leggings yesterday and I never want to take them off-they are looooverly!!! I almost had a meltdown in the maternity section of H&M though-was surrounded by massively pregnant women and I swear they were staring at my non-existent bump and I felt like a total fraud. Still, working on keeping the faith I'll be one of the big bumpos in a few months.

Fruit smoothies help a lot with soothing acid/pukey feeling but be warned-UNPLEASANT to bring back up.....
