Still on the waiting game here. Temping question - After ovulation when does your temp drop back down if not pregnant?????????

Mine hasn't yet but I thought it did after 3 days if ovulated, or is it after you pass the possible implantation day?

jersey i am currently ttc and although not temping i read on a fertilty site that if your temp remains the same for 18 days at the peak temp your are probably preg i will try and dig out this info for you and do a link

Fertility friend has a big chunk of information about temps after ovulation. On the subject of whether you can or can't tell if pregnant, I think to sum it up it said you can't see signs of pregnancy from your temperatures reliably. It might be worth a read if you want to see what is normal or not.

Thanks, prob just wishful thinking at moment as only dpo6 as fertility friend has decided I ovulated later than it previously thought!!

sorry wasnt on here yesterday dd has had a bug and kindly gave it to me so i was dying! lol, dh had to stay home from work to look after dd as i couldnt manage it!

anyway, did a test and it was a BFN but still no af so........... im still holding out hope, dont quite understand my body atm, but could be because i came off the pill 2 months ago, anyway i still got me fingers crossed and hoping it just too early or summit!

Oh so sorry for BFN Stacey and tummy bug!! Keeping fingers crossed that it was too early. I have read of some people not getting a + until several weeks preg. so as long as AF stays away there is hope.

I'm on a count down still I had forgotten how bad the waiting was!

Hi Carly & Rubles the general info on FF was that difficult to tell, usually can only tell in hindsight as everyone is different. Temp rose again today so keeping fingers crossed!

Jag did you get a proper AF or could it have been implantation bleed? Let us know, we are due another BFP xxxxxxxx

its ok, im sure i stil got plenty of time even if i not preg now, me and dh have decided i should lose some weight and that might help, and i concieved dd on the pill and using condoms (and was 3 stone lighter) so dont know why this bump is taking so long if it isnt to do with weight! (ok maybe not that long but it feels like forever!) so yeah, will be on diet and hopefully that will help!!

Jersey Def Af just a really strange one. Had nothing since Sun but have bled a little today when i wipe (sorry TMI )But i did a test to rule it out & was bfn which i guessed it would be. I think that this TTC lark just starts taking its toll on the body after a while. Anyway am on CD 4 using Persona so just waiting for those red days & eggs maybe this month.

hi everyone been following mumsnet for sometime now but never really wanted to intrude well now i am cos me and dp have decided the time is right to make babies!!
was on the contrceptive patch for 2 years and have just stopped so hoping for som bfp very soon, hasnt been easy sailing for me i have had 2 m/c's so this time i'm hoping it will be ok. fun part is lots of bd!!!!!

Hi, I'm confused! Been charting my temps and using Fertility friend. FF said I ovulated on day 14, temp rose, has since risen again two days a ago drop very slightly yesterday and then stayed the same today. FF now says I ovulated on day 20 (2nd rise)!!!!

Had slight nausea today and general tiredness (which could be disturbed sleep).

Don't know how to link to chart to show you.

Thought there was poss. of being preg. Now unsure. Anyone any ideas?

sorry for the hijack - jersery have u been puttin ur CM in as well? - it could be noting ur CM. the one month I temp'ed for it said I OV'ed on CD14 - then changed to 18 (was going on CM not temp) anyhow turned out I was PG. fingers crossed.

Hi munz I only detected CM on one day about day 10/11 of cycle I think. Prob is been bding so much around original ov date that I get the after effect of that in the morning! Been fairly dry recently def no egg white, and not been puting this info into FF. Do you know how to link to a chart?

Sorry forgot to ask when you where preg did you get the 2nd rise in temps around the time it thought you had ovulation (day 18).

Had ordered some very early tests from ebay as on original dates will be day 10 after ov tomorrow!

tbh appart from that I don't knwo how to read the charts there's a lady on the beanie thread in chat/PG called romilly she was my info source! lol. she'd be ur best bet if no one else can help. if it was me thou i'd go by ur CM (are u doing OPK's as well?)

Thnaks munz, no to opk's as 1st month of TTC thought just do temps as that worked last time. Althought last time I did the recording on paper from Boots and things where a lot clearer. Wasn't doing cm either except one day it was very clear (first time ever noticed).

Keeping fingers crossed. If tests arrive tomorrow will test at weekend. Was going to wait as should be due on next wed. but as so confused with try this weekend.

Munz, went back in to FF and put in dry for last few days as I think thats what I was on the cm and its shifted my ov day back to the 14th!!!!!

i was here this time last year desperate for my body to settle down after coming off the pill, and well, my son was born on August 4th.......so my wish came true.

this morning i had a sudden attack of nostalgia about my days on TTC and the highs and lows we went through, so i felt compelled to come on here and give you all some baby dust.
