yes she's about normally at lunch time. i'd go with the fact it was looking at your CM more than the temps then - fingers still crossed for u. as for the testing - if u're due on weds i'd prob wait till monday at the earliest - but hell who am I - every month I used about 10 tests! lol.

good luck fingers crossed. lots of my dust for u!

Hi ladies, waves at you from sunny Florida! DH and I have arrived safely, and it's beautiful I have no idea what is going on with my cycle this time - my thermometer broke around OV day, so I've had to guess based on my +OPK instead of temps. I think we got some BD-ing around the right time, and I'm now covering myself in Progesterone cream in an attempt to lengthen my luteal phase even more this time

jersey - I seem to remember this is your first cycle charting with FF. It took me a couple of cycles to get used to everything, and the one thing I would say to you is that you can't tell anything from FF until it happens - i.e. it won't confirm OV until after it's happened, and you can't look at your temps post OV and say "ooh yes I'm definitely pregnant". I would recommend that you look at it as just another way of learning about your cycle, but remember it may take a few cycles for you to start seeing all the signs together (temps, CM, OPKs if you use them etc.). Hang in there hun, and I hope you'll find it as interesting and as useful as I do

Thanks for visiting moschops, and thanks for the dust I hope we'll get some more BFPs this month

Hugs to all, anyone testing soon? I feel all out of touch having been away for a few days!

Hugs,
Artoo.

Welcolme meggymoo, yes here or the planning ahead thread!

jane313 · 10/11/2005 16:20

artoo were you proscribed progesterone cream or did you just buy it! Lucky you, sunshine!

I'm on cd 10. It coincides with the date this month which makes life simple. Dh got his tests back and his little fishes are swimming well. So ia have to do day 21 progesterone again, seeing doc next week. God knows how long a referal to hospital takes if that is needed. Can't decide whether to book a summer holiday just in case a miracle happens and I am pregnant. Can you get your money back on travel insurance?

Any news stacey?

Jersey that temping lark sounds a bit too difficult. I found fertility friend too complicated in general. Am going for the every other day and a bit more in the middle of the month approach this time. I looked at some fertiltiy books yesterday and was tempted but tehn say one which had a ludicrous exercise for your uterus which just seemed silly so I walked away.

Have spent the day clearing up vomit. My son is ok in himself but has a cough which makes him sick. He went for and vomited, I cleaned up changed cot. Then 15 mins later did it all again!

welcome to all the new people, hope you don#t stay on the thread for long!

homemama · 10/11/2005 17:03

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted so much recently. I've been a bit down that we're not trying this month.
Sorry to hear about the BFN, Stacey. Perhaps too early?
Artoo, can't believe you're posting from Florida!
Is anyone due to test? If so, good luck!
Welcome to Aprilgirl and Meggymoo - Hope it happens soon for you!

Good evening all hope you are all well,

artoo wish i was posting from florida I hope you have a good time.

Staceym11 sorry about BFN, I hope af stays away for you.

Jersey I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, can't help with the charts i'm afraid but can say that my last pregnancy i had a few symptons approx a week after ovulation these included funny taste in my mouth, my chest looked like a road map with the veins that became more apparent, nausea and tiredness.

Welcome meggymoo and aprilgirl hope you have a short journey to a bfp

I hope you feel better soon homemama

I'm not expecting bfp this time as DH and I have only BD once on cycle day 13 as we have had a lot of d+v in the house which is one of my reasons why i have not posted much lately.

These

3 x Pro 'ULTRA EARLY' Pregnancy 10miu Test / Tests Kit. Did a search on ebay for Early Pregnancy Tests. These can be used from 10 days after ovulation. 79pence for 3!

This is the info. supplied on the listing (Bit long):

3 x 10mIU PROFESSIONAL ULTRA EARLY PREGNANCY TESTS

These tests are the MOST sensitive pregnancy test on the market, to aid in the ultra early detection of pregnancy. These tests are really easy to use and have greater detection abilities (over 99.9% accurate) than most store bought tests. Standard tests are normally 20mIU/ml or greater and detect pregnancy 10-12 days after conception. With an Ultra high sensitivity of 10 mIU/mL (lower is better, 100% more sensitive than 20 mIU tests), these Ultra early pregnancy tests can detect pregnancy 7 days after conception upto 3 days earlier than standard tests, you can use them well before your missed period. They work by detecting hCG, a hormone released by the fertilized egg that increases as pregnancy progresses.

  • Convenient: Mailed to your home same day.
  • ULTRA Early: Detects 10 mIU/ml of hCG. (Can work up to 3 days earlier than standard 20 mIU/ml tests.)
  • Cost: A HUGE big saving on high street chemist prices and a lot more sensitive too.
  • Fast: Reliable easy to read results in 3 minutes.
  • Ultra Sensitive: This is the MOST sensitive test available on the market.
  • Important: ISO9001 accreditation, CE mark which means they are manufactured to the standards set by the Health and Safety Commission in Europe.
  • Accurate: Over 99.9 % accuracy, sensitivity and specificity in clinical trials.
  • Delivery: Same day dispatch if ordered before 5pm weekdays and 11am Saturday & Sunday.
  • Discreet Delivery: All tests are posted in a very discreet protective packaging with no markings as to the contents via 1st Class UK delivery.

The tests are really easy to use. Basically 3 steps as below.

  1. Take a urine sample.
  2. Immerse test strip in sample for 5 seconds.
  3. After 3 minutes read the ULTRA EARLY result.

The ULTRA EARLY pregnancy test is a cheap and affordable solution for pregnancy testing. These tests are an economical answer for couples who want to find out quick if they are pregnant.

3 x 10 mIU ULTRA Early Pregnancy individually foil wrapped test strips supplied with full easy to understand instructions.

Put your mind at ease fast, ultra early & accurately.

Any questions please contact me, I always aim to reply in less than 24 hours.

Jersey - sorry to thread crash but just wanted to say that feeling really sick was the first thing that made me think I could be pregnant this time around. I had two complete days of feeling really sick - proper morning sickness type stuff on cd8 and 9 and then did a test on cd10 which came up a very faint line. Tested again on cd12 which also came up positive. Also cried at Holby City on CD9 - which was another reason to make me feel my hormones were all over the place.....

So - you never know - it could be a BFP for you. Keeping my fingers crossed....

jersey · 11/11/2005 09:40

thanks can't wait for the early tests to arrive!!

Are these the ones you used.

HandbagAddiction · 11/11/2005 09:50

No - I used a bog standard one from Boots......

andyrobo237 · 11/11/2005 13:12

Hi everyone - been a bit quiet on here lately but back now! on CD18 but only managed bd'ing on Day 14 and 16 - which might be ok! Gotta wait until next saturday before AF due, but not too bothered! If no luck this month, will skip next month and wait for January!

Any news from Stacey - has she tested again or AF arrived? Good luck to all due to test soon!

homemama · 11/11/2005 15:02

I know what you mean, Normsnockers. As I'm creeping my way through my 30s I feel that time is not on my side. Feeling a little anxious that I don't appear to be Oving every month now. But still can't face the sickness over Christmas.

It's DS's 1st birthday this weekend so that will cheer me up! This time last year I was plodding through Tescos with 5min apart contractions!
