Good morning Wicket I hope you are ok today. They say that tests can very between very dark and barely visible, depending on time of day etc. But so long as there is a line there then that is still classed as a positive result.
You are right, it is still very early days. try not to worry about how you feel, all pregnancies are different!
Sending you a big Smile

wicket why don't you try a clearblue digital then your not looking for a line and the word pregnant may make You feel a bit more positive, congratulations :)

BeeMyBaby · 13/02/2011 08:10

Dutchie77 - I can see using ovulation sticks in my case as being ridiculously expensive, probably somewhere in the vicinity of £40-60 per cycle as would need to basically test everyday for 2-3 months. So in a few of words, I am too cheap. My current method is free and although DH is still bed bound, he is letting me near him now, so I will wait another month or 2 to see if AF comes...

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 13/02/2011 09:39

Thanks LPO and goingmadtrying. I did go and get a clearblue digital this morning - great minds think alike! I wanted really to just get the basic undated one, as I thought, like you, that a binary yes/no answer is what I need, rather than the torture of squinting at lines. But I had done one of the dating digital ones last week (that a now pregnant friend had given me) and I didn't know if the sensitivity of the two tests was the same and I knew if the plain one was less sensitive and was negative today that that would send me over the edge.
So (to cut a short story long!) the CB digital is still positive. Yay. It's still at 1-2, but I think that's reasonable, as I ovulated 2 weeks ago yesterday, and the last CB digital that said 1-2 was Wednesday, ie 4 days ago.

I've made a deal with myself that I will check another one on Wednesday, and if that is positive I'll make an appointment with my GP for the following Wed (Wed beingy day off), but check another one the day before I see her. It's exhausting, isn't it?!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 13/02/2011 09:41

And I'm steering well clear of pink and blue lines now! It's the digital revolution!:)

Dutchie77 · 13/02/2011 16:48

Wicker, I can imagine that you really want to make sure the tests are right. Having patience is quite difficult aye?!

Still no AF so I POAS today. Ofcourse...BFN like I expected. Can't wait for the next attempt!

LivingDeadGirl · 14/02/2011 20:13

Ooh a tentative congrats from me Wicket, i've got my fingers crossed for you.

Statis update. Still no AF. Had blood and urine tests on Thurs. Urine not back yet but have been called back to the docs tomorrow to repeat the bloods as 2 of the hormones tested for were high eek! Scared shitless now. Please someone tell me it's not as bad as it sounds . . .

LivingDeadGirl · 14/02/2011 20:14

Typo, that should say status. Typing too fast.

BeeMyBaby · 15/02/2011 08:40

Hello
How's everyone doing? Any tests around now?
I'm on CD 16 - had SWI at appropriate times so just waiting now.
Living that sounds really stressful - what did the doctor think it was? How are you feeling?

LPO · 15/02/2011 11:52

No test yet here, due AF next week. Fingers crossed it doesn't arrive!!

MummyBerryJuice · 15/02/2011 14:26

Hi there! I've stayed away from here cause I've been feeling rather [bleurgh] about the whole ttc thing. But...
I have terribly oily skin, some extra spots, vague back pain and cramps and am extremely tired. So I think we might be there Smile

Have put off testing for a few days now as I've just wanted to make sure it isn't AF but I will get a new test tomorrow.

[excited]

goingmadtrying · 15/02/2011 14:38

Oh wow sounds promising mbj let us know how the testing goes, I admire your will power would have gone and got a test for this afternoon lol Grin

MummyBerryJuice · 15/02/2011 15:05

Not will power really. We live in the middle of nowhere and it would mean a 20mile round trip to get one.

And did I mention I'm exhausted? Grin

LPO · 15/02/2011 15:52

yey MBJ, all sounds good. Good luck with the testing tomorrow and let us know how you get on!

am with you on the exhaustion and spots, but put that down to having a little monster :)

blue22 · 15/02/2011 19:50

Oh wow - fingers crossed for you. Let us know how the test goes.
Very exciting. Grin

LPO · 15/02/2011 19:56

I am feeling extremely sick this evening, DH is saying it could be morning sickness... Should I tell him that I think it is actually due to the ridiculous amount of chocolate I ate after dinner? Blush

LivingDeadGirl · 16/02/2011 09:35

I'm feeling awful Blue. The results may indicate premature menopause so they're repeating them to see if the levels change.

blue22 · 16/02/2011 10:06

Oh Living that's awful. I'm so sorry - I hope that it's not and they uncover what it is and can get you on the mend.
Thinking of you x

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 16/02/2011 10:38

It was all too good to be true. Started bleeding this morning - AFTER a +ve test. It was still 1-2 weeks, which I think might not be beyond the limits of possibility due to my long cycle. It COULD be implantation bleeding, but I don't think so - too late for that, I think, and this morning I have a constant dragging ache low down. Not looking good.

Sad
blue22 · 16/02/2011 10:39

Oh no - what sad news this morning.
I'm so sorry wicket fingers crossed it is implantation bleeding, but doesn't sound promising.
Oh dear. x

MummyBerryJuice · 16/02/2011 11:02

Oh no! Two bouts of bad news Sad. Keeping fingers crossed Living and wicket.

I'm off to go and buy my test, but am feeling a lot less confident about my symptoms today...

blue22 · 16/02/2011 11:14

Good luck mbj
