I just watched the Big Fat - Oh My God That's Huge - Wedding Dress show, on demand. It's very good, if somewhat chilling in the way these girls are brought up to be so dependent on their men.

A few years ago my class and I did a study session on diversity and different communities living in Britain. My friend was doing Travelling communities as a topic, and she couldn't find a single resource that described the way they live in anything other than negative terms. I remember thinking that was a bit unfair. I really enjoyed the show.

In other news - today is MUCH better thank you Bitey. Yesterday was crampy, painful and yucky, I'll spare you the full details, but today am on a light period flow. Massive relief. Feel drained and pathetic, but [hope] am on the mend. My iron supplement may need replenishing before am back to fighting strength.

Rie, Barbie you know those places will only lead to Teh Rage. I much prefer the thread in AIBU about 'Starbucks Mummies' (of whom I had no previous knowledge) that developed into a 'smoking cat' discussion. Made me chuckle it did.
