Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

mojomummy - i alwasy thought you were more fertile after a miscarriage but apprently the doctors say its a load of rubbish, and there is not evidence of it. very odd. who knows, it worked for me.

Hi Diddle, well, the drs...I don't believe half what they say (mine said BF was bad at 15mths) I was told that by the hospital where I had my ERPC. I think the drs don't want us to conceive cos it might mean difficulty with dating !

Ref the reflexology - mine said my spleen was low & also liver was flat - these are detoxing organs, so if you've had an ERPC (sorry, I couldn't find you stats ) you might like to give your liver a boost with some milk thistle. I bought mine for about £6 from boots. Have a friend coming over tomorrow who is a reflexologist...so if you have any questions, please let me know & I'll see what i can find out

Coathanger · 02/10/2005 20:24

Hellkat, if you speak to maddy before she goes to EPU, tellher I'm sending her lots and lots of love and I'm thinking of her. I really hope all is well ...

Diddle · 02/10/2005 20:28

mojomummy - didn't have a erpc, m/c naturally both times, you could aks her if there is anything i should tell them about apart from that i'm ttc, should i mention the miscarriages to them? thanky ou very much. there's always someone on here who knows about something you need. thanks

OP posts:
Mojomummy · 02/10/2005 20:35

yes, definetely mention the miscarriages - she/he should give you a consultation - well I assume they will, they usually want to know about your general health.

Perhaps you could check out an accupuncturist (sp?) too ?

As you didn't have the ERPC, there won't be the general anthestic to deal with, but of course it's all a strain on the body. Did/do you take zinc ? you may find you benefit from some additional help.
I'll ask tomrrow & if there is anything I'll post tomorrow night.

thanks mojo - yes i take zinc in my pregnacare and dh takes it. They said i would get a consultation at the beginning, i'm dreading ti tickling.
Can't cope with acupuncture, don't do needles, had it on my knee once and it really hurt, and freaked me out because i could see him doing it all.

OOooooooohhh, am a bit nervous about all of this.

I will see what the doctor says tom. No doubt he will have me go to the EPU. This is starting to get v. embarassing. I have spent so much time there in the last year. Oh, well. They might start getting pissed off and try and offer me some more in the way of medical help and extra care.
Oh, forgot to say. Some of you might think this is a bit naughty. I started to take the Heparin and aspirin again this morning.
I just thought that I may as well as I have some left over from last p/g. The consultant did say that he would want me to go on it as soon as possible the next time. I don't suppose much would have changed in the last four weeks or so, so I hope they won't be pissed when I tell them.

Coathanger,
I forgot to mention. You say your Dh wants to wait six months. I had that chat with my DH too. They soon forget. He will get fed up with all the extra hassle he has to go thru
Whatever u do, don't go on the pill as that will mess up your system and u have to (should) wait at least 2mths b 4 trying to conceive.
Trust me it will all be forgotten very soon and we will all have a laugh about it.

Oh, the mention of curry dinners, got me drooling, they sound yummy. I had to make do with a cold chicken sandwich tonight.

Off to bed now.

Good night ladies........

HellKat · 03/10/2005 07:13

Morning all!
How's everyone?
Still got the brown dc! Even had to resort to wearing a p/liner. No idea what's up. Dp and I decided against bd last night until we figure what's going on.

HellKat · 03/10/2005 07:14

P.s Just sent Maddy a good luck email from us. x

Diddle · 03/10/2005 07:22

morning - HK very strange that you're all having discharge at weird times in your cycle wonder what it is, mabe your system is just flushing out a bit.

peepee - hope the docs are brilliant with you, if they don't send you to epu i'd ask them why.

Maddyd - thinking of you today x x x

OP posts:
HellKat · 03/10/2005 07:27

Diddle- Very weird. Been having pain for a few months but pretty sure that's down to endo. At a loss what this is though. Can't book my smear until it stops.
Peepee- Good luck today!

maddyd · 03/10/2005 07:31

Thanks for my email Hellkat and for everyones good wishes. Its gonna be a long day. Bleeding is no worse but no better either. I expected to wake up to a mess but was fine, think i was subconciensly(sp) clenching my pelvic floor muscles in my sleep.

Im off for a bath then off for my first scan so will catch up with you later. Not sure if i feel posotive or just resigned to the fact that the foetus has died again. But i feel quite calm. Once i get i the scan room though it will be a different matter. At the moment i have a glimmer of hope, once i get in there its the facts i have to deal with. Anyway what will be will be. xxxx

Diddle · 03/10/2005 07:43

maddyd - make sure they tell you something, don't let them send you home with no news. you NEED to know whats happening today. You know they're going to say it doesn't sound good, but that doesn't mean baby has died, all could be ok. stay positive we're here for you

OP posts:
HellKat · 03/10/2005 07:56

Maddy- You're very welcome hun. Please let us know when you get home. Fingers crossed for you. xxx

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 08:08

Maddy, I hope it all goes okay today. I know what you mean about the glimmer of hope , I was the same right up until I was laying on the couch on the scanning room. Stay positive , Hunni. I know thats hard but you must keep that glimmer of hope. I'm thinking of youtoday, as is everyone. I will give you an extra big thought at 1.30pm. Lots of love maddy, {{{{XXXX}}}}

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 08:16

Peepee - I hope your right about DH forgetting what he said. I really want a baby, just like everyone else here! Can't believe its still 5 months til the deadline why is time going so slowly!! Arrgghh!

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 08:18

My funny bleeding has stopped now. AF is due my way tomorrow and I still have no signs. I am geting pains but not the usual dragging pains low down, but sharp split second stabbing pains much higher up around my belly button! Not sure what that is. Well, once the boys are off to school I will pop into town and get a test - we'll see what that says although i'm sure its a bfn.

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 08:26

Where did everybody go....?

HellKat · 03/10/2005 08:29

Morning Ch hun!
Best of luck!
My bleeding/dc still there and getting heavier. hurts like hell too. No bd for me!

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 08:32

Aw, HK, sorry there'll be no BDing for you Perhaps this is just a last big clean out ready for next month when a little bean will be snuggling up inside!

No idea what my "stuff" was but I need to do this test to rule out pregnancy being the cause. I'm certain it will be bfn coz DH would have to have supersperm to get me up the duff this month, bu I need to do it for my own piece of mind - me being PG is a possibility but not a certainty!

HellKat · 03/10/2005 08:37

11am Thursday, smear yuck!!!!! lol.

HellKat · 03/10/2005 08:38

I agree Ch. Always a good idea to rule it out. be fantastic if you were though. What time will you be testing, so I can make sure I'm here.
