Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

HK - have you tested or are you relying on CM to give you a clue as to when you're OV? is that why you think it migth be today?

HellKat · 02/10/2005 16:47

peepee · 02/10/2005 17:07

Am in a bit of shock today...........

I did a p/g test this morning and it was positive.

Some answers for the following would be appreciated.......

  1. Is this really possible?
  2. Could it b that my HCG levels are still high after the m/c which was a month ago? My last bleed ended 21days ago.
  3. At what stage could u have an implantation bleed. I am positive I saw some red (though faint) on wiping this afternoon.

Are you all over the shock. I am not holding my breath. So be as honest as u wish with your answers. I have a GP appointment on Monday it was just to get a medical certificate for work. They are going to give some of my leave back as I was m/c and not off galavanting for the first week of my hols. Should I ask to go to the EPU or just wait and see?

I can't beleive this ............

Diddle · 02/10/2005 17:11

peepee - Right, it is possible that the positive result could be retained "stuff" after the miscarriage, did you do any tests after you lost the baby, to see if you got a negative?
It is also possible that you are pregnant, I got a pregnant straight away after my first miscarriage. Have you been trying? is there a chance you are?

remind me of your miscarriage circumstances. did you have a d&c of lose naturally? ahve you had any confirmation sicne fo your hcg levels dropping, or dropped?

Diddle · 02/10/2005 17:13

HK - often suspected you were addicted, you're always bathing and napping! you don't have to nap when the baby sleeps when your baby is a toddler i think you can stop now.

Peepee- i am praying hard that this good news. I'm sure it is and I'm sure the "smear" you saw this mornig was things just settling in. I am thinking of you hun and hoping that this is a true BFP! XXXX

Coathanger · 02/10/2005 17:20

Keep a positive look on it! {{{{hugs}}}} Peepee!

HellKat · 02/10/2005 17:27

lol Diddle. Only reason why i grab an hour in the avo is because I rarely sleep for more than 3/4 hrs a night (no idea why). .
Peepee- WoW!!! Exactly as diddle said. It is possible you're pg but it is possible for it to be retained products (especially if you had a d&c, i had the same thing and kept getting a positive for a good few weeks after). Get your doctor to check. Fingers crossed.

Diddle · 02/10/2005 17:32

aha that explains it, i couldn't cope with such little sleep i don't know how you do it

Thanks Ladies....

Diddle,
We were not really trying. We were just on holiday for 15 days and did plenty of BD.
My last m/c was natural no D&C. Had my HCG levels tested though. They had only gone down a bit in 2 days and was then persuaded to go back in a week later for a test. Gynae told me she would call if they had not gone down. (remember the scare I had just B4 hols re poss. ectopic) I never got a call and therefore assumed they had gone down. The HCG test was done 23 days ago. I never did a p/g test after the m/c.
I have no idea wots going on..... I can't beleive it has happened though.
DH reckons he is some kind of superman with super sperm.. He says it's only a matter of time b 4 the hospital ask him in for some testing! I did point out we have no kids to show for it though.
This p/g lark is weird.

Diddle · 02/10/2005 17:39

it is weird peepee you're right, sounds like he does have super sperm, although i have heard that its an old wives tale that you are more fertile straight after a miscarriage i sort of believe that its true. Sounds like you may be pregnant then if you were tested and i'm sure your hosp would have been in touch if you had a high hcg level 23 days ago as this would mean there was more left behind. So big congrat to you hun, get down the docs and see what they say.

HellKat · 02/10/2005 17:42

Peepee- Well in that case Congrats!!!! Get yourself back to the dr's and take it easy hunny.

Coathanger · 02/10/2005 17:44

congratulations peepee!!

It really looks though you're PG!!! Really happy for you! Now take it easy and look after yourself! Lots of {{{{{hugs}}}}} Peepee!

hi all, so there are a few testing in the next fews days then ? I am due today, so will maybe wait to see what happens....

Diddle, did you book up the reflexology ?

HellKat · 02/10/2005 20:15

Hiya all, just a quickie before I log off.
Was giggling earlier, thankyou Ch and Lottie, I've now joined you in the "I have brown/pink discharge" club! What is going on? Very odd .
Had email from Maddy. The bleeding's not eased up, she's passed a clot and she now has a dullache in her tum. She rested all day and now off to bed. She says a big thankyou to all for the kind wishes and support. She's hoping tomorrow brings some positive news. She'll be on when she gets back from the Epu (she's being seen at 1.30).
I sent her lots of luck and told her we're thinking of her.
Please let it be good news!
Night all. x
