Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hey Coathanger, hope you are feeling better soon. I am on quite late and you have gone to bed! Hopefully I will get a chance to chat soon as I am really lost with the abbreviations and I thought someone may be able to help me out....please. bfp's and ve are just a couple I can think of just now. Fingers crossed this is my lucky thread and maybe in a few weeks I will be doing a test. Good night everyone.

Diddle · 26/09/2005 20:28

Hi diddle, thanks for the info, I feel i have a wee bit of catching up to do. How are you doing? I am sorry I can't remember your current situation but hope you are ok just now.... will prob have to dash away for a bit as dd is a bit restless but will be back in a mo if you are still around...

bubble99 · 26/09/2005 21:02

Hello all.

Thanks for starting a new thread Diddle. Good luck to everyone. I've managed to catch your colds, thanks a lot.

No AF here, yet. But she was only due today and I'm feeling the usual cramps etc. Still hoping that they're early Pg symptoms. I'm going to wait (if I possibly can) until the week-end before testing.

I'm going to try and have an early night now. I say that every night, but still somehow find myself perusing the fridge at midnight.

Diddle · 26/09/2005 21:20

bubble - have a good "early night"

babybloos - i'm doing ok thanks, quick run down, had a m/c in Jan & April 2005, still trying for baby number 1.

Dads cleaner was rubbish. She just used to turn up and use the phone and then spray a bit of polish as she was leaving.

She has not cleaned anything as far as I could see today.Dad came in from work and I could him him sniffing! He said oh it smells so fresh! I like to look after him especially as mum isnt here, but I swear I was cleaning today and I am sure she was around..

Cool Hellkat, very sneaky

mumswish · 27/09/2005 10:58

Hi,

I'm not sure if you mind that I join in. I had a misscarriage last Nov (04) and we've not tried again since (yet) due to money and housing and emotional problems. After much needed talk to my boyf we've finally decided to try.

Although his man logic is that he wants a baby in late august early sept so that its the eldest in its class.

I dont understand your abbreviations I'm afraid so I've written it in long words.

I'm completely new at this and havent the slightest clue where to start or how to tell me "cd" days etc.

I've read both the threads and shared in the joys and pains with you all, I think you're a great bunch of girls and hope you'll let me join in your fun

slinkstah · 27/09/2005 11:05

wow - took me alot of time to catch up this morning as went to visit my sister over weekend and only popped in breifly yesterday.

diddle- yeah thought id add myself to the stats- was worried i put tmi - i was treated bad by hospital anyway, midwifes were nasty felt complete burden in hospital and was made to feel like stupid little girl when crying when waters broke etc. if/when i get pregnant this time i am very worried about what care i will get - will probably consider hospitals at other side of london. or maybe i will just not book in anywhere and look after myself.

chocolateP - glad your af not here, when are you testing??

coathanger- when and where is mn xmas meet - have not really heard of it have not been on mn for a while, hope your cold is bit better today

welcome mumswish- i am new too

mumswish · 27/09/2005 11:11

Thanks for the welcome slinkstah.

Hope everybody is okay today.

I'm at work so I'm bored out of my mind and also freezing cold. (no heaters)

slinkstah · 27/09/2005 11:13

mumswish - cd day 1 is first day of AF common to ov on cd14 if cycle is 28 days, which means you can test on cd24 with early pg test.

i am on cd12 today but i think i have already ov - and i think i have missed the boat this month as dp was too drunk on sat night to perform lol and too hungover on sunday night to perform !!! am gonna still try for the rest of week though just in case. oh dp is not alchofrolic it was a one off- just incase you thought i was ttc with a drunken man lol

mumswish · 27/09/2005 11:19

Slinkstah -

I'm on the pill at the moment so my first day of "af?" doesnt really matter does it?

When should I stop taking my pill? I've been on it for 2 (about) years now and I've heard that with the injections you have to give it time to "wear off" is it the same with the pills?

Also is it true you're actually pregnant 4 10 months?

Diddle · 27/09/2005 11:41

mumswish - welcome to our group, i am so sorry to hear of your loss, no matter how long ago i know that it will still be heartbreaking for you.

Apparently it can take 3 months for the pill pills to wear off, i was on it for 1 yr before we started trying and after 3 months of trying i conceived, and miscarried.
You are pregnant for 10 months because 40 weeks is not 9 moths it is closer to 10.

Slinkstah - what horrible hospital treatment you had, that sound sterrible, you'd think they would be more synpathetic in such a, supposedly caring job. I think although you've had a bad experience it might just be worth changing hospitals, rather than going it alone.
I think it was you that said you were getting on a bit, can't believe 32 is getting on. keep trying you have plenty of time.

Hope everyone else is ok

OP posts:
Coathanger · 27/09/2005 11:51

Mornig all!

Just a quickie coz i've got to pick little'un up from nursery.

Hi Mumswish!! Its good to have another newie on here! Officially I think it takes a couple of months for the pill to get out off your system, but I have had friends who have fallen PG (pregnant) straight away after stopping. Hope that helps And I was PG with my 2 of my 3 boys coz I was overdue by 2 weeks, but you are actually PG for 9 months and 1 week!

Right I think I'm typed out now! Still feeling pretty cr@ppy, had a terrible night, what with cold at its height and DS3 being a pickle. Made DH stay up after getting in from night shift to take kids to school coz I was too poorly to do it, then went back to bed. Got to pick DS3 up from school nw so will have to go.

Oh, glad that image made you chuckle HK!!

I'll be back later and perhaps I'll have a bit more strength to talk for longer xxxx

Coathanger · 27/09/2005 11:52

Sorry should have said I was PG with 2 of my 3 boys for 10 months coz was 2 weeks overdue
