Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Just a quickie in between stops -

Diddle, thanks for yesterday and helping me sort out my head! Still not had a reply to that email Never mind. But thanks for listening and being so good

babybloos · 29/09/2005 12:57

Hi everyone, so much happening once again and I have decided to keep computer on as much as poss to keep up with it! I am trying to teach dd 10.5mths the meaning of the word "no" when it comes to leads etc!

I love coathangers views on ttc, i too love sex and not ashamed to say it. I just think it is funny with dh who is so eager all the time but finds it weird when we know we are doing it when we should! I think it adds a wee bit of pressure...poor guy! I haven't even got to the stage of using ovulation testers yet, we are just guessing. I think the hammer and tongs approach has worked in the past so like some of the others we will carry on and wait until the 17th Oct to test.

When are the others testing this month?

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 13:03

Okay!! I have a HUGE problem - I know this has nothing what so ever to do with TTC but I need some tips!!

A big fat mouse (not a rat, not that big!) has just run past my feet and into the living room and is now hiding under the sofa!!! ARRRGGGHHHH!!! What should I do???????

Oooh, I hope someone sees this !!!!

mumswish · 29/09/2005 13:10

Open a door, lift the chair up and chase it out of the house..... down the street shouting Thomas at the top of your voice.!! Ooo you have to hold a rolling pin aswel.

(like the woman off tom & Jerry)

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 13:11

LOL Mumswish! But this is serious! I mean they carry disease don't they?! It can't be good fro the kids!

mumswish · 29/09/2005 13:12

rats carry disease mice apparently arent that bad. Seriously tho, chase it out the door. It may come back but can you really bring yourself to kill it? Plus think of the mess

slinkstah · 29/09/2005 13:27

arghhh coathanger- you must put traps down everywhere like behind cooker etc and check for holes everywhere and block them up.

also check your food cuboards for droppings and put food all away and in a high up cupboard.

mumswish · 29/09/2005 13:31

Poor mouse...... Doesnt stand a chance!

How is everyone this afternoon? What ya all doing?

Diddle · 29/09/2005 13:38

coathanger - we had a mouse in the kitchen once and we found a small hole behind the dishwasher, i know you don't have one so you won't find it there, but check behidn the cooker washer etc for holes. Luckily for us it went back down the hole as it saw me coming for it. I hope its gone now, get little DS on a chair so it doesn't run up his leg sorry that won't help. erm i agree get a broom and shoo it out the door, hopefully it will be scared of you.

We found one caught in our mouse trap in the loft at the weekend, i felt so sorry for it, but i'm glad its gone.

you there coathanger, has it gone?

just been flicking through some other threads and found quite a few people saying that they didn't know they were pregnant until 25 wks, how on earth is this possible, ahve any of you had this? i can't imagine not knowing

OP posts:
mumswish · 29/09/2005 14:11

With the MC I didnt know I was pg until I went docs for more pills and they asked about nausea and I said I'd been feeling sick but not actually sick etc, they did pg test and told me I was pg, went for scan 2 establish how many wks and was told it was 10. But thats the furthest

Diddle · 29/09/2005 14:18

i guess if you're not expecting it, esp if you're on the pill then you may not notice the signs

OP posts:
mumswish · 29/09/2005 14:20

it was very normal for me to not bleed when I came off my pill for the break so i didnt think anything of it when I didnt bleed.

Diddle · 29/09/2005 14:25

mumswish - what you doing today - are you working hard???

OP posts:
mumswish · 29/09/2005 14:32

I am bored out of my mind. I'm a receptionist so I just sit around waiting for people to give me stuff to do or the phone to ring. Hence being on here ALL the time. Cant let boss see tho.

I'm utterly depressed today. I just want to cry ALL day. I dont know wtf is wrong with me (mind the language) I feel sick as a pig and I've got heartburn. I'm absolutley knackered. I really really want to go home and be molly-coddled.

Just wish I knew why

Diddle · 29/09/2005 14:41

maybe you're already pregnant, or maybe you're doing too much and need a holiday

OP posts:
babybloos · 29/09/2005 14:43

Hey Mumswish, diddle, ch etc. Hope you start to feel better soon mw. Some days are like that and I hope you have someone to cuddle when you get home......

re: mouse ch, mice are ok, do you live in the country? It isn't nice if you have kiddies as the poo isn't very good but apart from that they are fine. we had to set traps for ours and they haven't come back again, they live in the sheds in the garden now which is cool. I have had a few scary moments with them in the night but they are defo more scared of us than us them.

dd just woke up so will have to go soon, i only know if af late when dh tells me.....so i have no chance of not noticing pg! he has to keep an eye on it for the mood swings, poor guy!

mumswish · 29/09/2005 14:47

I've just had a holiday and I'm not even thinking about pg yet (doubt I am VERY much anyway not had sex much this month)

May have to take another holiday soon tho. Moving house in the next couple of weeks hopefully

Diddle · 29/09/2005 14:48

well i'm pretending to work hard, lucky for me i'm a childminder, and the kids would sometimes rather play without me, feel quite redundant today.

OP posts:
Diddle · 29/09/2005 14:57

school time back later, no talking while i'm away i can never keep up with you

cd28 for me today

OP posts:
mumswish · 29/09/2005 14:57

It must be hard to look after the kids esp with you trying at the moment. I bet it's really rewarding tho 2.

I think I'll go see my mum after work. I'm in need of a mummy daughter moment.

Diddle · 29/09/2005 15:01

it is tough especialy when i first went back. wit the 2nd m/c i thought i would be ok and worked the day i miscarried but kept falling to pieces after no sleep and a night at the hospital, it was tough, but i hate to let them down. couldn't stop crying. they're are so loving though and so lucky to be here, i love it.

OP posts:
mumswish · 29/09/2005 15:05

I'm glad you enjoy it.

I hate my work. If I didnt need the maternity allowance I wouldnt be here. I hate it with a passion I get up in the morning and actually dread going to work. I've never had this feeling before, I've always wished I didnt have to go (I think everyone does on some level) but I've never HATED my job before. Roll on pg and mat leave!

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 15:14

Well! You should have seen me and my mum chasing this poor scared little mouse round my living room!!! Its disappeared now, I think it hiding under the fridge in the kitchen.

I know obviously there is a hygiene issue with mice, but what sort of diseases do they carry. Why is their poo particularly bad with kids, Babybloos? Got me paranoid now!

Diddle - CD28 eh? When you gonna test hun?

Prettybird · 29/09/2005 15:49

Put a cat in the room and shut the door!
