Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Lol I think they secretly enjoy it. All this bonking .
Prettybird- Go ahead and test, at least you'll know. Then you can adjust. It's silly being scared. I know I will be so nervous and panicky if I get pg again.

HellKat · 29/09/2005 10:00

Morning Slink. lol at the wam bam scenario.

mumswish · 29/09/2005 10:01

PB - Its completely up to you whether you test. If you want to be extra sure why not wait until its a week after your AF was due then your 5wks pg if it positive (i think not sure about dates myself)

Good luck and keep smiling it cant all be that bad.

babybloos · 29/09/2005 10:07

It is so funny chatting about the whole ttc with dh's. They are so funny about the performing thing and I don't think they like the pressure much but it is funny and we have to keep smiling and try and keep some romance involved!

prettybird, it is really important to do the test and deal with your feelings then. I hope you get a bfp and you can move forward. I know you need to prepare yourself for a negative too, I will be there soon enough. You are lucky you are so fit and well, it all counts for it all being well if you are pg. much luck and fingers crossed for you.

slinkstah · 29/09/2005 10:12

pb- i reckon you should test now- then you can let us all know in a few minutes and we can all send you positive good luck vibes
and i really wouldn't worry about genetic problems at the end of the day i know there is increased risk with your age but you should not worry about it- i think all of us here will be emotionally wrecked by a next pregnancy and so worried that m/c will happen again.
but from my recent experience being told that my baby 23 weeks born had only 12% of survival and that she would probably have cerebal palsy and be retarded etc i did not care one bit i was just desperate for them to give her that chance of life.

Prettybird · 29/09/2005 10:15

Can't test now: I'm at work and the test is at home!

But think I will bite the bullet when I get home tonight (or maybe after ds has gone to bed).

mumswish · 29/09/2005 10:21

PB - Make sure you tell us the results. Wont be happy if you dont let us know

slinkstah · 29/09/2005 10:21

i am testing in a week and the suspense is killing me. my boobs are very very slightly slightly sore and im really hoping that means something but i reckon i could be imagining it- probably setting myself up for disapointment though.

mumswish · 29/09/2005 10:22

Slink - I'm sure everything will be fine. I@m crossing fingers, knocking on wood and alsorts for you.

Lottielou · 29/09/2005 10:33

Morning All!
Boy you ladies can't half natter!
Haven't got the time to read the thread so if anyone can give me a quick update as to whats what then i would appreciate it!

Hope your all well?

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 10:43

Hi everyone!

Sorry I disappeared, took boys to school and thenhad to pop to sainsburys!

You've all been very busy chatting...

PB - you need to take one step at a time. Deal with testing first. If it a bfp then plan from there. It so easy to get all your feelings at once and then you start to feel overwhelmed. When I had my MC, I was trying to grieve for my baby, think about TTCing, dealing with my DH who isn't keen on another, trying to keep my chin up so as not to drag those around me down, and as a result it all got too much. When I stopped to think about it, I had forgotten to grieve for my little one, because I was trying to deal with too much at once. So, what i'm trying to say, really badly is that you need to deal with one thing at a time am i making sense? If I am then thats a first!! !! Oh ,an like the others said, you must tell us the result of the PG test asap!

Slinkie - Oooooh, not long to wait!! Will you be testing at the earliest opportunity or are you leaving it a while? When would AF be due?

All this talk about TTc being all unromantic and stuff makes me giggle. Did any of you see a thread on here last night about some MNers hating sex! I am not ashames to say I LOVE SEX!!!!!! I can't wait til I'm TTC coz I will be at it all day everyday!!! None of this every other day business!! I say bonk away!! Swingin' from the lightfittings, every room of the house! Whoo-hoo!!!!!!......

Ooops got a bit carried away then!!!

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 10:46

MORNING Lottie!!! Hows you today, hun?

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 10:50

Oh, dear! Have I shocked you all into silence???

Lottielou · 29/09/2005 10:51

CH - Morning hun! I'm pretty crap to be honest! Went to the docs on Tues Eve to get my pains checked out, only to be sent to the Hospital on weds morning for a BHCG test as there was talk about an Ectopic Pregnancy. My head was screwed up all day and the pain is still there. Anyway, thank god i got he results back and it was clear. Phew.... however is till could be PG but wont know until the 8th Oct onwards. I asked if the BHCG test wud show if i was PG from this cycle and they said as my cycles are so irregular it wouldn't show yet.
The pains could be implantation pains, AF pains or even OV pains. Haven't a clue. They aren't so intense anymore tho, which is good. But was sick this morning so that made me feel quite crappy. Must be all the stress.
I am trying to think positively as i go on my hols tomo and the last thing i want is to be in pain and stressed!
I just hope if it is AF then she bloddy stays away while i'm on my hols!

Phew... that feels better!

How you doing?

P.s Sorry bout the spelling, cant be arsed to preview! lol

Carameli · 29/09/2005 10:53

hi all, this thread is a real boost in the morning. Dh working at home so needs to be online quite a bit so I will only be around every now and then.
I m/c last weekend, but today I am just feeling so exhausted and a little light headed. Is this ok?? Cannot remember feeling like this since I had dd.
Went for some short walks over the past few days as I thought it was ok to do that as I don't feel ill enough to be in bed but now wondering if its ok to do that or am I just worrying....

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 10:56

Aww lottie {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{MASSIVE HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} sweetheart. That was the last thing you needed. In your heart of hearts what do you think it is? I know thats a really stoooopid question, but I always have an inkling with things, like when I had my MC (had spotting with other 3 PGs but when saw spotitng with this one I knew deep down it would turn out bad, iyswim). When is the soonest you could do a test, hun.

Oh, I really want to come to you and give you a big sqeeze. PLease know that I am hoping so much that this month is yours (and Diddles! ) XXXXXXXXXXXX

mumswish · 29/09/2005 10:57

Morning Lottie, Sorry to hear your not feeling too well but glad to hear you havent got an ectopic pg. Good luck with being pg this month, I soooo hope you are.

Coathanger - you're not the only one that loves sex, even tho we havent been ttc we still go at it hammer & tongs. Yet 2 try doing it in the kitchen tho..... hmmmm interesting. Mind u DB is so hygenic probably wouldnt agree to it.!!

HumphreysCorner · 29/09/2005 10:59

Morning ladies

Have dropped the moaning DD at nursery-think I will accidently forget to collect her Oh, the constant screaming is soooooooooo bad! Do I really want another??????.......

YES !!!!

HellKat-I do so hope you aren't disappointed if you get a BFN. One of my friends had her AF for the 1st 3 months of her 3rd PG-didn't know she was PG until 4 months and wondered why Weight Watchers wasn't working! Don't know how heavy her AF's were. She lost baby no2 at about 6 months but no 3 was perfect. Good luck hun ((xx))

Prettybird-good luck with your testing as well. ((xx))

CHOCOLATEPEANUT-any more news? ((xx))

Missmibaby-where are you???????????? ((xx))

Sounds like I had quite an easy birth-25 hours start to finish with pethedine, gas and air and because DD got stuck and when the nice man stuck his hands up there he was unable to turn her had to have an epidural then a drip to counteract the epidural. Only about 4 stitches. Can't wait to do it again, and again. Hmm-36 next month so tick, tock, tick, tock.

Ooh, some more testers next week as well-let's try and have a record number of BFP's.

A huge welcome to Carmeli-hugs to you hun ((xx))

Must do some housework-trouble is when DD is at nursery I just want to put my feet up as it is so peaceful.

Going to finally see my friend's baby this afternoon-he is 6 weeks old now. She was always busy doing something when I tried to arrange visiting so hopefully will see him today. My other friend's little girl is just 1 week old so should see her next week. I am going to be brave.

Hello to Diddle, mumswish, slinkstah, babybloos, bubble99, Coathanger, maddyd, Lottielou, auntynon, peepee, Mojomummy and anyone else I may have missed. Hope everyone has a good day. Back later.

xxx

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 11:00

Carameli - I was just thinking about you, Hun! Spooky! Are you looking after yourself? I know this might sound really patronising but you must take care of tyourself, eat properly, rest etc. I know I didn't and I paid for it. I felt soooo ill for ages after my MC because I didn't look after myself properly. Any way, I was thinking about you coz I have just seen your stats and notice your in SW london. Where abouts in SW? (if i've asked you this before, I'm sorry, but there seem to be quite a lot of ladies on MN from SW london and I can't remember who I've asked ) My DH works at Stamford Brook underground station (was at Turnham Green up until last Sunday, and will be moving onto Earls Court soon).

Carameli · 29/09/2005 11:02

Lottie: just read your message(also watching SOmething SPecial on cbeebies with dd
Really hope it works out well for you..... Hope you get to have a good holiday.{{{{{hugs}}}}

Carameli · 29/09/2005 11:07

I'm in Richmond Coathanger. love it here but we are plannnig to move further out into Surrey next year.
I am tryingt to rest as much as possible, only been for short walks to the river terrace, the place with the nice view, its just around the corner. Am not so sure about going down into town if I am feeling this tired, its one thing going down but another thing pushing my dd up the hill again

Youare moving to Earls COurt, I grew up in Fulham.

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 11:12

We're not moving home to Earls court, DH is just moving to that underground station He is an electrician and is working on the revamping of the Underground Staions. He has to commute every night from east coast of Kent.

HumphreysCorner · 29/09/2005 11:18

Oh Carameli-lucky you living in Richmond-Oh to see the White Cross Pub once more. My uncle lived in Whitton, near Twickenham for many, many years but has now dared to move to Brighton. Up until DD was born 2 years ago I went every December with mum & dad to stay with him and do some Xmas shopping in Kingston. Always went to the White Cross on our last day. We will never go again now he has moved . Ah, what memories!

You try to rest, then have a walk round the park-not too far though.

Lottielou-sorry to hear you are going through bad times again. ((xx))

Coathanger · 29/09/2005 11:21

I'm off for a bit now (when I say "bit" I don't mean a "bit ", I mean for a while!!). Got to take DH to dentist, then pick DS3 up from nursery , then collect DH from dentist then go to bank!! phew!! May be exhausted when i get back!....

Speak in a little while...

Diddle · 29/09/2005 11:45

morning all - carameli - your feelings are totally normal, i was exhausted after my mc's and walking is fine as long as it doesn't make you feel worse, the fresh air is good. you can do anything you want, as long as its not too strenuous, don't want to wear yourself out.not much spare tiem today so may be back on later
