hi, this is probably a weee bit early for some ppl, but im waiting til end of this month to ttc (the desperation, brooding over other peoples babies and feeling jealous of pregnant women , thinking of names and waiting 2 symptom spot kicks in)
so come along and join the journey to motherhood!

AF finally arrived here, only 7 days late Confused ?!?! so onto the next bus for me! Relieved as much as anything that something has finally happened! Now have a nice new chart in FF and feel positive for next month.

I don't think we did the deed enough this time round - in the key days, only once on the day I got a smiley face on the OPK, which could perhaps already have been too late. So DH has been warned to prepare himself for CDs 13 to 22 this time around! Grin.

Best of luck to all xxx

emsiedoodle · 11/01/2011 11:27

Well AF not due until tomorrow but I couldn?t wait that long and although no symptoms what so ever I just had to do a test this morning. I?m sure you can all guess the outcome?

Of course it was a BFN :( On the positive no AF so that means I can see what tomorrow brings but I?m feeling irritable and crampy so I?m not holding out much hope.

Congratulations to all who have BFP this month, what a wonderful way to start the new year!

Wombat33 · 11/01/2011 12:22

Bumps glad the suspense is over but sorry it wasn't a BFP. Good luck on the October bus with that nice new FF chart and your punishing SWI regime!!! I feel for your DH Grin

Emsie hope your BFN turns into a BFP tomorrow!

Daisybell1 · 11/01/2011 16:31

Hi Wombat

How's tricks with you?

Yes, you were right, scan revealed nada. Nowt. Zero. So I had a blood test, and have to go back on Thursday for a repeat test (to check the levels are increasing ok).

Then, assuming all's ok then, its another scan in 2 weeks time.

I wish they'd warned me that it would be an internal scan, I managed to keep down 2 pints of water, only to have to 'go' because I couldn't hold it in any longer Blush. Luckily I didn't need it for the internal.

So, fingers crossed all's ok.... At least she didn't say it was all in my imagination Grin

Wombat33 · 11/01/2011 16:47

Grin LOL @ 'in your imagination'!! Grin Uck at the internal scan though - I hate them! Glad you got the blood test. How long do you have to wait for the results?

Daisybell1 · 11/01/2011 17:41

The worst thing about the internal was my OH taking a very intense interest in my insides! I was mortified Blush
Results will be back within 2hrs so I already have an appt for that - only downside is the EPU is one and a half hours away so that'll be another day off work... Luckily boss is I newish father himself so is sympathetic.

Wombat33 · 11/01/2011 17:45

Glad your boss is being sympathetic. Grin at your OH being fascinated. Men Grin Fab though that the results come through so quickly so you should hopefully have some reassurance by Thursday evening - that's not long to wait!

Daisybell1 · 11/01/2011 18:16

Yes, hopefully so! Although i'm still desperate to poas every day!

Karbea · 11/01/2011 18:24

Evening ladies, on the train home...

So I got a bfn last night. Today especially this morning was very tearful and last night OH and I even had a sort of row last night and we never do that. Anyway, today I've been spotting which I guess is af on her way, I'm still confused by my massive painful boobs and the fat my whole body seems twice the size it was the beginning of the month, but hey ho!

Not jumping off the bus yet, but expect I willin the next 24hrs.

I've been to Boots and got a thermometer, ovulation sticks, and conception tablets for OH so upping the anti on the OCt bus when I get there !!!! X x

monkeyblonde · 11/01/2011 19:32

Thanks Wombat for the top tips on symptoms, it was me that asked for them. Unfortunately all of these and others don't stop me from finding them when they're not there, or when I don't find them I tell myself that everyone's different and I could still have a chance!! x

tutormummy · 11/01/2011 20:16

Well, just checking in!

Congrats to everyone so far with BFPs and good luck to everyone testing in the next few days.

It's 12th Jan tomorrow which means two calendar months since AF :0( STILL NO BFN and still not sure I've OVd

Incredibly frustrating ...

But no AF yet so still staying positive - dp seeing the benefits of all this uncertainness though Wink

xxx

Daisybell1 · 11/01/2011 20:18

Hi there Monkeyblonde,I'm just a week behind Wombat at 4.3 weeks. I really didn't think that this was our month as I didn't feel any different at all, and had a bout of raging PMT right on schedule.

Since then, I have only slightly tender boobs, but the nausea is growing (I nearly threw up the water I'd downed before my scan earlier), and I've lost interest in food.

The feelings of total exhaustion are increasing too - I cried when I was driving my OHs car home because I saw his cousin had popped in for a brew and all I wanted to do was collapse on the sofa.

Otherwise, I'm just what my neighbour describes as "waffy", ie not quite on the ball, occasionally a bit wobbly, and just generally not quite the sharpest tool in the box....

God, I'm a wuss!

Daisybell1 · 11/01/2011 20:26

Oh and of course the cramps which were/are like period pains and which prompted the scan in the first place!

Dualta · 12/01/2011 08:09

just popping in to say congrats everyone on more BFPS! and sorry for all who are now moving on to the October bus. looks like i will be seeing you on there! Internet cheapie tests every morning this week and all BFNs and they are supposed to register the faintest bit of hcg. Soooo I consoled myself with a pint of guinness last night and will save the clear blue digis and symptom spotting for this time next month....
Good luck everyone : )

Wombat33 · 12/01/2011 10:45

Morning all. Anyone got any hugs going spare? I'm feeling really down in the dumps about apparent disappearence of symptoms and am starting to believe that my body has screwed this one up too Sad

Teds77 · 12/01/2011 11:14

Oh Wombat I'm sorry, big hug from me xxx

Daisybell1 · 12/01/2011 11:21

Big hug from me too Wombat but please don't panic yet....

My symptoms are fading as well, but still have FX that the bloods tomorrow will show all is increasing nicely

xxxxx

Wombat33 · 12/01/2011 12:02

Good luck for tomorrow Daisy what time do you get the results?

Bumpsadaisie · 12/01/2011 12:07

Wombat, big hugs. Symptoms come and go - many people have NONE and have a perfectly normal pregnancy. Please try not to worry, easier said than done I know.

Wombat33 · 12/01/2011 12:16

Thanks Bumps I'm trying to stay rational but not really succeeding! I think it's because last time round (my only other pg) no symptoms did mean MC so I'm paranoid this time.

PrincessScrumpy · 12/01/2011 15:22

I'm leaving the bus to catch the october one :-(

Daisybell1 · 12/01/2011 15:57

Sorry to hear that Princess

Wombat test is at 9.00 then back a couple of hours later for a 'Review Appt'...

Unfortunately, OH can't make tomorrow as he can't get cover so I'm thinking of taking a neighbour in case its bad news.

Hope you're hanging in there Wombat

Wombat33 · 12/01/2011 16:00

Just about Daisy, just about!

If you know/like your neighbour well enough then I'd say that's a good idea. Especially if it means you don't have to drive?

Daisybell1 · 12/01/2011 16:41

You're doing well Wombat!

Yeah, my neighbours are like family and so are happy to help out. It will be great to have someone to sob on celebrate with.

Teds77 · 13/01/2011 09:09

Hope all has gone well with the tests Daisy and hope things are better with you today Wombat.

If horrific back pain is a pregnancy symptom then maybe I'm in luck this month but I'm thinking that isn't the case. Ho hum!
