hi, this is probably a weee bit early for some ppl, but im waiting til end of this month to ttc (the desperation, brooding over other peoples babies and feeling jealous of pregnant women , thinking of names and waiting 2 symptom spot kicks in)
so come along and join the journey to motherhood!

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 08/01/2011 21:29

Aww thanks drdolly I wish you the best of luck Smile

TeaBaggy · 08/01/2011 22:04

wow i only went away for a week and theres 6 pages of posts to catch up on! just finished reading and congrats to everyone who got a bfpSmile

af was due on 6th and no sign yet but as i have no idea if im going to be regular or not im trying not to think about it. will test at the beginning of next week if still no sign just to satify my curiousity. although if not regular im worried id be testing too early and get a false negativeConfused managed to swi for extended length of time so heres hoping.

fx for everyone!

Bumpsadaisie · 09/01/2011 08:50

Well, just tested again and still BFN, so think its probably time to jump off this bus. Best of luck to everyone, esp to you Wombat - fingers crossed for you this time round.

Hopefully next month will be our month!

Bumps x

tomatoplantproject · 09/01/2011 10:15

Grr this is so frustrating! BFN this morning and still no sign of AF which is odd because I'm usually pretty regular. Am losing hope for this month.... Good luck everyone else!

Bumpsadaisie · 09/01/2011 12:35

Tomato

Just the same here.

How many days late is AF and do you know how many days post-ov you are?

My longest cycle has been 31 days - usually 30 or 29 - and am now on CD 36! I think I must be a minimum of 16 DPO today (think I OVd on CD20 to 22)

All very strange. But have decided to give up hoping for this month - after all no BFP, with FMU and clearblue digis, by 16 DPO, doesn't sound like pregnancy to me!

Best of luck everyone else!

greedychops · 09/01/2011 15:20

Maybe don't give up just yet bumpsadaisie?

Tested this morning but bfn so put it in the bin, but looked again just now and there is a faint line. I know it coUld be an evaporation line, but I havent had one with any of the other thousand tests I've done this month, so I think I will have to go and buy more tests tomorrow (if af hasn't arrived).

So maybe there is still hope for some of us that are late but with no bfps?

pinkapples · 09/01/2011 18:03

Am now 3 days late BFN yesterday so still
Hoping I have a friend that tested 4 days late had a BFN and then a week later got a BFP if nothing by Friday gonna start my Provera and go again on the October bus fingers crossed x x

Getdown congratulations!

So sorry twojackrussells to hear your news thank for being so welcoming on this bus and I have everything crossed for you for next month.

Now trying very hard to hang on and not do a test until the middle of this week (realised I'd spent 50 quid on tests, and can ill afford it), the app on my phone tells me I ov'd on the 2nd but I am convinced it was the 31st, (body signs only/without temp charting).

So can't really tell when to test and have convinced myself boobs feel different but otherwise no symptoms whatsover.

Its like trying to give up cigarettes...'if I can just go one more day....'! {grin}.

Looks like this is a big week for people judging by the list so a huge GOOD LUCK everyone x

Karbea · 10/01/2011 09:54

Morning!

Hope you all had lovely weekends!

My boobs have become huge and even more heavy over the weekend. I was eyeing up pregnancy tests in Boots this morning, and as i'm sure you all know some of them you can do 6 days before AF is due to arrive (so i could do one today)... Ummm...

I'm thinking that i'll probably do a test if I still haven't come on maybe this time next week... (i'm due on on Saturday). Normally how long do you wait before you test?

xx

KnitterNotTwitter · 10/01/2011 10:06

Just popping in to say that AF has turned up to day so it's off to the October bus for me. Good luck to those of you on the Sept bus and CONGRATULATIONS to those of you who have got your BFP's... :)

Bumpsadaisie · 10/01/2011 10:43

All those who like me are late and waiting for AF might like to look here where other ladies are in the same situation!

Come on AF!

Wombat33 · 10/01/2011 11:05

Bumps, Tomato and Pinkapples sorry AF is messing you around. How frustrating! I'm keeping everything crossed that it turns out to be good news in the end and that you get to find out either way soon so you're not left hanging in suspense.

twojack, Vegas and Knitter sorry AF arrived for you but good luck on the October bus!!

Karbea I'm an awful early tester (5 days pre-AF) but be warned if you do that it makes for a very anxious wait for AF's due date to come around wondering if it's just going to be a chemical pregancy and not stick. If you can, I'd advise waiting until AF is due (saves you money on wasted tests too) but I can never wait so I can't really talk!

Greedychops any news this morning?!?!

Dualta I'd hate to calculate how much I've spent on tests in the last week and a bit

Daisybell1 · 10/01/2011 11:16

Wombat you have a PM Grin

Just been to drs after pains over weekend - have emergency scan tomorrow to check its not eptopic Confused

Bumpsadaisie · 10/01/2011 11:30

Daisy

I've been reading about ectopics - largely because here I've no AF but no BFP either. What Ive read is that it is very unusual to get a BFP if you have an ectopic ... You usually get a BFN but no AF.

Wishing you all the best for your scan.

Bumps x

greedychops · 10/01/2011 11:31

Sorry to see that af has come twojackrussells. Will need to recruit someone else to keep the list up to date. Really hope next month works for you.

Bfp for me, so am quietly happy. But a little nervous that spd type pains seem to be showing their head already.

Anyway, will keep an eye on the bus and watch out for more of you coming over to the antenatal group. Good luck.

Wombat33 · 10/01/2011 11:36

Daisy I PMed you back just before I posted here. Sorry to hear you've been having so much pain though - really hope it's not ectopic - I'm keeping everything crossed for you. If it's at all reassuring I've had a colleague who was airlifted to hospital with a suspected ecptopic because she was in so much pain but the pg turned out to be in the right place after all - so pain doesn't necessarily spell doom. Vv good idea to get it checked out though. Let us know how you get on.

dualta · 10/01/2011 11:42

ah sorry wombat for the TMI on money!! Promise not to raise again!...Karbea looks like we are on similar timings ...i can tell you already i've tested almost every day with first response and a boots test today waiting for internet cheapie super sensitive tests to arrive and have had bfns every time, its still prob too early to get a bfp (tells herself anyway)...this is the last month i'm taking this approach!
daisybell hope it goes ok tomorrow good luck everyone x

Bumpsadaisie · 10/01/2011 11:47

Great news Greedychops - how many DPO were you?

Hope it all goes well and no SPD!

Wombat33 · 10/01/2011 11:50

Ooh - sorry Greedychops I missed your post somehow - congratulations!!!

greedychops · 10/01/2011 11:53

Thanks bumpsadaisie. Af was due on fri or sat so not quite sure when I ov'd but probably about 14 or 15. With both previous pgs I had much earlier results, but with more expensive tests.

The amount spent on tests really is crazy I suppose, but I know I just can't help myself buying more. Assuming this one works out ok, I think that will be it for us, but if I was doing it again, I think I would try and have the patience and use the cheaper tests again. Although it's frustrating, it's the same result but with slightly more money left in your purse.

Karbea · 10/01/2011 11:55

dualta Umm... Yes we do have similar timings Smile. Really?!?!? you've tested so much already... Umm I think i've maybe not as i'm definitely in denial about the whole thing, I keep saying to OH when he says "OMG! your boobs are so huge!" that I think it's just my body being hilarious and playing tricks on me, tbh, i'm actually getting a bit scared that I might be, i'm 37 years old and I really want to be a mummy, but I think the reality of it all is starting to kick in, so maybe it's just my body testing me to make sure I am ready/it is really what I want - does that make sense?

Apart from the boobs, i've also had some shooting pains lower belly, not really at all like period pain though... have you had any weird signs?

Daisy i'm sure it will be fine, i guess your body is doing lots of weird things at tthe moment and it's bound to be uncomfy, hhope you are ok ((hugs))

Daisybell1 · 10/01/2011 13:27

Thank you Wombat and others,

I think I just have a very enthusiastic junior doctor who has just started his GP rotation! He was very proud of being able to phone the EPU and book me in for less than 24hrs later. Bless him Grin

Although, on a side line, when did I get to the age when I looked at the Dr and thought "aw, bless" and also, when did (young male) doctors use phrases such as "sore boobs"??? Shock

Daisybell1 · 10/01/2011 13:28

PS Wombat think my computer's being slow, message is obviously arriving by messenger pigeon! xx
