hi, this is probably a weee bit early for some ppl, but im waiting til end of this month to ttc (the desperation, brooding over other peoples babies and feeling jealous of pregnant women , thinking of names and waiting 2 symptom spot kicks in)
so come along and join the journey to motherhood!

Afternoon all,

Have had a very sad day, AF got me again, so feeling very very sorry for myself Sad

Anyway, I used the due date calculator and reckon that if I got lucky next month I could still have a September baby, so as I can't really face starting again on an Oct bus mostly on my own will just readjust my stats and stay on here for a while, seat being nice, warm and comfy from being here since almost the beginning

Welcome to Bumpsadaisie, I've added you onto the list. Moray, if AF is due you could always stay and keep me company Xmas Smile

OutIntoTheBlue · 17/12/2010 17:46

Ah, TwoJackRussellslostinthesnow I'm sorry Sad. Yes, you should definitely stay on this bus, all cosy and warm with lots of company. You'll need to share that wine though.......

EnglishCountryGirl · 17/12/2010 17:49

Tested this morning and BFN. Still a couple me days until AF is due to show, but have a feeling this is not going to be our month. May join you twojackrussells and moray in staying on the bus depending on when AF shows up, since also feeling very cozy and would like to continue to join in the fun!

TheCake · 17/12/2010 21:45

Can I join! Just had my first AF after coming off the pill after being on it for 15 years!!! My cycle lasted 45 days- hoping that was just an extra long one but we shall see.

My stats are TTC # 1 UCL?? Used to be 28 days all those years ago cycle no 1 and AF due 27th Jan if cycle is 45 days or 10th Jan.

If it's 10th Jan I will be most fertile over Christmas. Hoping the extra fertile boost you get after coming off the pill is not an urban myth :)

Deafworm · 17/12/2010 21:49

Can I come and lurk? i had an early mc in july and cant really start ttc again till next month as dh will be out of the country april till august next year but my mind keeps wandering back to ttc so i hoped you wouldnt mind me hanging around at the back?

keep wondering if its silly to aim to be pregnant while he is away for so long but he is in the military so im not convinced things will ever be uncomplicated enough for an ideal pregnancy Confused.

good luck to everyone hoping for bfp's in the next few days

Good morning, my wine was very yummy last night Xmas Smile

Welcome aboard TheCake, I've added you onto the list and to DeafWorm hopefully you'll get BFP right at the time you want Xmas Grin

conkertree · 18/12/2010 08:12

Hi. Sorry to hear about af jackrussells. Seems there are a few of us who are staying on for two cycles - I came on to bump myself down to the bottom, but see it's already been done! They will have to take eviction notices out on some of us I think.

Although maybe they won't need this bus again till next November so maybe we could just stay on and keep riding it round and round.

How many of you know people in rl also on mn? Last time I ttc, I changed my name and things but this time haven't bothered. It's mostly my sister and a good friend who are on, so I guess if they happened across these posts, it wouldn't matter too much. Anyone else bothered if people in rl know?

And broody - it's a difficult one cause you don't want to put him off when he's trying hard to make things good for you, but I guess you'll just have to try suggesting trying something different - or take the lead yourself! I don't like it when one thing works really well one night, and then dh tries to replicate it the next time. It's never the same twice, but its nice that they make the effort Xmas Wink

TwoJackRussellslostinthesnow · 18/12/2010 08:41

HI Conker,

I'd moved you down to the bottom only because I don't know when AF is due for you, have a little organising soul, so was trying to sort out the list by date Grin

I dont think anyone I know is on MN and they possibly wouldnt know it was me since I changed names. I have let my family know that we are TTC but that its not going well, better that then the sly comments that people are apt to make, IYSWIM

I'm starting ovi sticks this month so have warned DH that he will be on standby as and when, he doesnt seem to mind though Xmas Wink

Tamashii · 18/12/2010 08:47

Sorry u got another BFN. It's just so soul destroying. We have been TTC for ages now. I can't actually remember when we started as it was "lets see what happens" and then we got serious about it about this time last year. Chemical PG/Early MC really off putting but trying again now and I am obsessing again.

9 DPO today and I did early HPT which was of course BFN. I just can't seem to wait to see if AF turns up before I test.

I keep googling people's photo's of their BFP's at 8 DPO upwards even thought this is meant to be really rare...

Anyway, just wanted to share on here cos I know DP would be a massive bit Hmm if he found out I've nearly run out of HPT's (the cheapie ebay ones) this month cos I can't stop testing way too early...

Sigh. I seriously doubt this is the month as I sidle up to the front of the bus.

conkertree · 18/12/2010 09:05

Thanks jackrussells -it's nice to have someone organised around! Af is due (whispers) around 7th jan but I for some reason didn't want to put it there.

Tamashil - I think it's probably impossible not to get obsessed - wish it was but really the only thing that stops me testing is the cost of tests - have never had the eBay cheapy ones. Really hope you get your bfp soon.

monkeyblonde · 18/12/2010 09:09

Does anyone have any symptoms yet? I think I do but of course that's what I thought last month too. Did a FR Early Detection this am and BFN, so now am grumpy and not sure if it's PMT. Can't wait for the BFP just to stop me going slightly mental.

Tamashii · 18/12/2010 10:36

monkeyblonde Symptom spotting so far = Well....I have a low, heavy sensation and had slight cramping last night and this morning which has gone back to a dull, low ache but as always this could be the start of typical AF symptoms. I'm wiped out tired and have been for the last 3 days but that could be having a 2 year old to run around after plus organising Xmas stuff. My boobs feel HUGE but again I think I might get this just before AF so.....

Why are PG and AF symptoms so similar??? I did the same thing last month n wasted about 5 HPT's instead of waiting for AF...

I actually have been feeling a bit nauseous too tho... Can't remember feeling that as part of AF coming in the past but I am always embarrassed when I read back my 2WW symptom spotting the next month and realise I have totally been imagining things when AF turns up! One of the minus points of posting every little detail on a message board Xmas Blush

chocolatebuttontheif · 18/12/2010 10:42

I also had some cramps last night, but trying not to make it into anything!

It would be very handy if this was our month. We're due to complete on a new house on Monday. Only trouble is it needs a LOT of work so I may not see much of DH next month!

broodycoilsout · 18/12/2010 13:33

wow, its amazing how much you dont know about ur body til ur ttc! had some more cramping last night-similar to period pains (which isnt due til 28th ish). must b something 2 do with ovulating.

pains also made me get quite scared about when we do concieve. recenlty had op 2 removed coil from fallopian tube, didnt get 2 c dr b4 i was discharged but notes said 4 me 2 have early scan in pregnancy to rule out eptopic-so am assuming im now high risk for one? would b devastating, but lets think positive eh!

arabella36 · 18/12/2010 15:18

Hi Broody, it's awful when you have seen something in the notes and it's not been explained to you, you can imagine all sorts if things! But look, don't worry too much about it in case it only increases risk by a minuscule amount. Why not ask for a chat on phone with gp so they can explain? Then you'll not be ruminating on it without knowing what's what?

broodycoilsout · 18/12/2010 16:47

Thanku! I prob should,bt will wait 2 mention it when the bfp comes along. Got sum lower backache 2. And suddenly come down with a case of man flu, roll on bedtime!!

ravenlocks · 18/12/2010 18:39

Hi everyone, and hi Tamashii I do remember you from a few buses ago!

Am still clinging to the August bus by my fingernails. AF due on Weds, then I am sure I will be joining this bus for sure for next cycle.

mslk · 18/12/2010 21:28

sorry AF got you TwoJackRussellslostinthesnow

Try not worry too much Broody the docs have to look after us so that's what they'll be doing making those notes.

Welcome new ladies

TeaBaggy · 18/12/2010 23:06

Hey everyone,

I joined the bus a few pages back but never added my stats as i dont really get all the abbreviations yet. although will be SWI from tomorrow.

Morning all,

I've added you on Teabaggy and added your AF date Conker, hope everyone is well, I'm doing the last of the xmas pre cooking today and making some gifts for people at work, shortbread and chocolately biscuity truffly things, hopefully they will work, if they look bad DH and I will just eat them!!!

conkertree · 19/12/2010 08:43

Tea baggy - ucl means usual cycle length.

All that cooking sounds good jackrussell. I'm sure you can hand any spares round the bus.

Ds1 (3) has a solo song in the nativity today. He can sing it really nicely but it's a bit hit and kiss as to whether he will want to at the time. Trying to encourage him without putting pressure on, but I really hope he is in the mood cause it will be very cute.

arabella36 · 19/12/2010 09:24

Anyone pregnant yet?Grin

MrsHende · 19/12/2010 16:01

Not me Arabella, AF got me this morning.

To be honest, I'm a little relieved - I was 10 days late but had negative tests and no symptoms so was beginning to think there was something wrong.

Lots and lots of luck to everyone else on the bus and I hope I don't see any of you on the next bus!! (In the nicest possible way!)

chocolatebuttontheif · 19/12/2010 18:50

Sorry MrsHende.

Conkertree that sounds lovely, I hope he got on ok.

Can anyone tell me how early it is ok to test without being obsessive?! I have some 10mlU tests from eBay. AF is due around the 28th but I would rather know before Xmas wine, blue cheese, nuts etc. Would I be able to test on Xmas eve or is that too early to show up?

broodycoilsout · 19/12/2010 18:59

is anyone ready 2 laugh at my craziness?
when i fell pregnant with my 1st i didnt know i was until i tested as period was late-but it had explained a few things-like when 1-2weeks before i'd been needing to wee loads and thought i had a water infection.
af not due til 28th but yesterday and today kept needing a wee, managed 2 secretly sneak off at work a couple of times 2day aswell as the trips 2 the loo i did have 2 mention. work again 2moro. i cant stomach as much food as usual-feeling full more quickly and being put off the foods i usually am a fan of , e,g egg (am a vegetarian). even made choc brownies 2 take in2 work 2moro and other than trying a corner 2 check they were ok 2 take in i didnt eat any-usually id eat loads!! feeling a bit sick sometimes.
exhausted-went 2 bed at 7pm fri night, 6.30pm last night and will be off in a minute-just after 7pm again!
did come down with a cold yesterday so also have all of those symptoms..
but...
ttc of course im looking in2 them as being something else!
someone stop me!!
