lanky did you think PlanB was good? A friend of mine saw him recently and said he was a bit rubbish, but then she has very different music taste to me and saw him "by accident" Confused

You never know, this month could be your month, i am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I told Mr Crazy last night that I really want to get pregnant THIS MONTH so to be prepared for a lot of rudes. He didn't roll his eyes at all, so I am quite excited! I am slightly worried about his little swimmers though because he rides his bike a lot :( we'll see what happens though...

zippys THAT DRESS! wow! Are you getting married soon?? Ohhhh I wish I was getting married again :(

garden please can I be godmother to the family labrador? I reeeeeeally want one, I even had a dream last night that Mr Crazy brought me a lab puppy home. But babies first... love the idea of you dancing with him and the cat! Grin

JosieSmith1 · 13/08/2010 10:17

I've been on that peeonastick.com and apparently the earliest you can test is 8DPO, which for me (according to my ovary pain) is today! resists urge to rush to asda

highheelsandequations · 13/08/2010 10:22

Morning ladies, hope we're all well this Friday morning. So excited for MrsW, I'm fairly sure that any line counts but hope you've got the confirmation from the doctor. I knew there'd be another BFP waiting when I got back from my trip!

Well my temperature has finally gone up and been up for two days so I'm hoping that means I ovulated, so I am now officially on the 2ww with fingers crossed we timed things right. My worry now is that I have been so determined to succeed this month I forced DP into quite a lot of SWI, so hoping that when the time was right his swimmers weren't too depeleted?!?

Welcome to the new people, I've found it really easy to settle in here.

Helo to everyone else, hope those who've been feeling down or poorly over the last couple of days are feeling a little better.

I'm actually feeling quite upbeat this morning, although completely worn out from busy trip (fab, but nonstop). Just trying not to obsess now and just relax for the next couple of weeks, easier said than done!

highheelsandequations · 13/08/2010 10:23

Josie don't do it! Apparently they are not very accurate until much later, there were some stats posted at some point

crazybutterflylady · 13/08/2010 10:31

Yeah I think Saor posted them. They're not worth it, wait until you are late for your FERTD! x

Hermya321 · 13/08/2010 10:36

Actually that reminds me, I've got a load of cheapy OPK tests that I got off of ebay. Does anyone want them?

crazybutterflylady · 13/08/2010 10:39

I'd like to try a couple if nobody else wants them please Hermya, if only to check I work! :) x

gardenpixie · 13/08/2010 10:40

Crazy yes of course you can be godmother to our bonkers labrador. He is a particularly fine dog and hilariously loves kids so I am hoping we will soon be able to give him a human puppy to play with!

Josie this is really nerdy and shows how much time I have wasted obsessing spent investigating but ... sometimes an embryo doesn't even implant until 10DPO and then it takes 2 more days for the hormones to reach a point where a home POAS test can detect them. That's why it's really unreliable to do them so early. So if you do POAS don't worry if you get a BFN, it might just be that your little person has nestled in properly yet!

Sorry you had such a crap day at work yesterday. Doesn't help when you are waiting for that BFP ...

zippys it must be horrid for you not to know what's going on. I really hope someone can help soon. And I agree about the ring - it is remarkable what a good bit of sparkle can do for one's mood! Not that I'm shallow or anything ...!

Highheels that's great that your temp has gone up - hurrah! And it sounds like you were very diligent with the SWI-ing Wink so I'm sure plenty of the swimmers are doing their thing for you!

Hello to everyone else and happy Fridays all round xx

Kaloki how are you feeling today? I hope you are feeling better and that the lotions and potions have worked

JosieSmith1 · 13/08/2010 10:40

Ha ha, deep down I know that highheels but thanks for the intervention! Nothing worse than a BFN, I find if it's early, I still hope that nearer the time will be BFP but if I do it on time and get a BFN at least I know that's it for another cycle!

I will try wait patiently until next Thu, which is when ERTD is due

Hermya321 · 13/08/2010 10:45

Crazy Have you got CAT, if so can you CAT me or an email address that I can get hold of you at?

MrsWajs · 13/08/2010 10:46

Josie definitely don't do it!!!

I have only just got a faint line and I am 8 days late as opposed to 8DPO!!

Well the Dr lady says yes I am! No need for blood test apparently as 8 days late and a faint positive means it is true! I still don't believe it though.

When will it start to seem real??

Have a CB digital in the cupboard but am scared to do it incase it shows the dreaded 'NOT PREGNANT'

This is a total rollercoaster!!!

Thank you all so much for your well wishes I really do appreciate it :) Waiting to Skype my mum and dad as they are in France at the mo, wish they would hurry up and come online!

MrsW that is just such brilliant, brilliant news Grin

Really thrilled for you and I am toasting you and your BFP with virtual fizz - cheers! xx

Hermya321 · 13/08/2010 10:50

Oh my gosh MrsW I'm so excited for you!!!

crazybutterflylady · 13/08/2010 10:51

Oh, what is CAT? sorry hermya

mrsW you have made my day Grin that's such amazing news

x

crazybutterflylady · 13/08/2010 10:52

pleeeeeeeeeeeease can we update the list mrsw pleeeeeeeeeease Grin

JosieSmith1 · 13/08/2010 11:00

Congrats MrsW!! So so pleased for you!!

Toriajayne · 13/08/2010 11:16

Congrats MrsW! You've perked me right up Grin I'll partake in some of that virtual fiz if there's a bottle going round? :)

CaveMum · 13/08/2010 11:19

Really pleased for you MrsW, I knew this would be a lucky thread!

Josie sorry to hear your horse is lame. Do you know what the problem is yet? My BiL's girlfriends's horse is ALWAYS going lame for random reasons! We think he's just trying to get out of doing any work!

I also second (or is it fourth Grin) the non-testing. From what I recall the "early" response tests are still only about 50% accurate 11 days post ovulation. You need to wait until at least 18 days to get up to 90% accurate, and as the lovely MrsW has shown us today, even then they can't be trusted!

Hermya321 · 13/08/2010 11:20

Crazy It's contact another member thingy ma bob on here. I assume you don't have it, have you got an email address that I can have?

crazybutterflylady · 13/08/2010 11:24

I've just CAT'd you Hermya - finally worked it out Blush

MrsWajs · 13/08/2010 11:25

Well crazy since you begged asked so nicely I guess you can...........Grin

LankyLegs · 13/08/2010 11:26

MrsWajs - here won't you have a final pornstar with me.... !

Whoohhhoooo WHOOP WHOOP!

I think I would be the same - in denial. But its true!!

I would wait til the morning to do the CB digi - they are 50 mliu (or whatever)so your first morning pee would be better!

Yeee haaa!
