crazy there's no point in testing at all - I know this already!! But Saturday is the day I promised MrWajs I would do it (so he can be here too, incase of rogue positives you see!)

I'm just so fucking fed up with the whole thing, is my body broken or something - why am I not pregnant after a year of having sex at the right time, taking all the right supplements, eating healthy, not drinking as much putting my whole bloody life on hold Angry It's so totally shite!

Kaloki I totally hear you on the thrush - happened to me when I had the absess that wasn't an absess thing. Most horrendous case I ever had. Hope you get something to clear that up quickly, cus I know how shitty it can be. How is your cervix now btw??xx

OP posts:
Kaloki · 12/08/2010 12:48

I'm with you on the broken body thing MrsW, I'd share a bottle of wine with you, but I'm on these bloodly anti-biotics grrrr

Cervix still really sore, still on huge amounts of painkillers. May have to see a gynae if it hasn't cleared up by the 21st. Just what I want in time for our wedding :( Sex is too painful right now

DessieLou · 12/08/2010 12:51

Best put me on the not counting list for now too. God knows whats going on down there! Off to docs this aft though.

MrsWajs · 12/08/2010 12:51

Awwww no that's crap love :(

What anti-bugs you on? If it's penecillin based, we're good to go.....

Trust meeee - I'm a nurse :)

OP posts:
MrsWajs · 12/08/2010 12:53

Oh god a nurse who can't spell penicillin - that's encouraging!!!

OP posts:
Kaloki · 12/08/2010 12:53

It is penicillin based - I'll have a large one please!! Grin

dessielou will you join us?

MrsWajs · 12/08/2010 12:57

Hurrah - vino all round!! [hiccup] Grin

OP posts:
Kaloki · 12/08/2010 13:00

Are there any of those pornstar cocktails left?

TanteAC · 12/08/2010 13:01

Oh can I join you? Feeling uncharacteristically depressed today. Nothing works. Sad

Kaloki · 12/08/2010 13:02

Think today is a drowning in misery day

TanteAC · 12/08/2010 13:03

Fk it kaloki, it is only lunchtime but I'm going to mix up a fresh batch now anyway!
Just read my last post and am horrified at myself Shock
Am not.allowed.to.be.pessimistic!

Pornstar cocktails will make it all better! Grin
Umbrella?

Kaloki · 12/08/2010 13:11

ooh, do glace cherries go with a pornstar? Cna I have one anyway?

TanteAC · 12/08/2010 13:15

Sure!
Et voila! Grin
I am watching Trisha for the first time in about a thousand years and guess what? It is fertility special ARGHHH!

Cheers!

crazybutterflylady · 12/08/2010 13:17

Aww sounds like we are all having a crap day, lets blame seasonal affective disorder because the sun has disappeared :)

Having just watched an episode of Wife Swap Shock I actually feel a bit better about things... life could be worse right?! There were 2 daughters called Dallas and Swayze on this one Biscuit, and the wife thought men were more important than women and they should eat dinner first and have baths run for them, and fags rolled for them and generally be served 24 hours a day...

So... it could be worse! lets have some bubbles to celebrate... Grin

Kaloki · 12/08/2010 13:18

I'll drink to that

DessieLou · 12/08/2010 13:29

Pour me a large one girls! Can I drink on amoxycillin? Did I spell that right Mrs W? Got that thing where you lose your voice, begins with L, not even gonna attempt to spell it!!
Could actually murder a drink but got docs in a couple of hours and working tonight so best be good!

TanteAC · 12/08/2010 13:38

Lol@wife swap - is that not how your relationship works?
I think the fags rolled for thmthing is the most insulting - it jst sounds so miserable!

Although isn't it surprising where crazy sexism lurks still?

Man, it is past lunchtime and I have done nothing today. Ah well Grin

Think a few cyber cocktails would be a better use of my time so I am cheered up by the time DH comes home this eve! Rarely feel as shit as I do today, wonder why?
Hmm

CaveMum · 12/08/2010 13:50

Kaloki that's rubbish!
I used to suffer quite badly from thrush in my early teens. The thing I found worked best was applying a natural yoghurt to the affected area. I know it sounds gross, but honestly it works! I found Greek yoghurt worked the best as it has high levels of friendly bacteria. Just put a small amount on some cotton wool and apply.

Sorry if that's too much info!

MrsWajs · 12/08/2010 14:09

Wow I've missed a few rounds I think!!!

Meh to wifeswap - some people amaze me they really do!! Who would put up with that shit!!!

OP posts:
JosieSmith1 · 12/08/2010 14:35

Well, I feel sick and am bursting for the toilet so naturally I must be pg pretends it has nothing to do with the copious amounts of choccy and tea

crazydayz · 12/08/2010 17:12

Pass me a large cocktail with an umbrella in it if possible. Off work ill so feeling sorry for myself especially as have to go back tomorrow even if not better as am on call this weekend.
Watched a lot of discovery home and health today after randomly flicking through the channels - anyone TTC don't watch it - after 2 hours of bringing home baby and baby room I've had to force myself away! Blush

Toriajayne · 12/08/2010 17:24

Bleugh, I'll join in with the cocktails please girls, between Chavetta at work and then my "friends" being inconsiderate and flaky I'm ready for a hot bath and cold wine, but no, my inlaws are here tonight and I have to pick them up from the fecking train station. At 9pm.

Kalokai I'm another advocate of natural yogurt for thrush, used to get it a lot in my teens. Evil, vile condition that it is.

zippys · 12/08/2010 17:28

wow I cant keep up with you guys at the moment Grin

Sorry I have been a little quiet, I have been very up and down mood wise at the moment. One minute feel positve as DP has been so sweet about TTC and the problems we are having BUT then I feel crap again as I have a broken body which wont work AND I still feel sick EVERY morning.

We have the follow up appointment to the tests on Wed and DP is really worried about his results.

On the sickness front basically the hospital are giving up on me Sad they are sending me to see someone else but not hopeful. So fed up of it, its now been going on for 10 months!!

Sorry for the me me me post but dont have time to catch up, but huge hello to everyone and especially to all the newbies. I promise I will try to be in better mood next time I post!

Kaloki · 12/08/2010 17:51

Aww zippys come join us in our broken corner! I think there's still some booze left

PS. Thrush pessary applicators are scary looking!!

TanteAC · 12/08/2010 18:50

crazydayz that is the WORST channel! I watched it so much at the beginning that I think I could probably graduate as a midwife with zero training/study!

I have decided not to do a PT on my normal day (15th). I think it is the right decision. Have called DH at work and given him a list of ingredients for a dinner-party-esque dinner and told him to restock the wine rack. We are going to have a 'pretend we are not ttc' weekend. (fancy restaurant, friends over, looooooooooooooots of vino) And just let this month slide. Have doc appt I am quite nervous about next week, etc and I have to say, I am usually quite chipper (if impatient!) about the ttc thing, but today has been really low, don't know why...? Sad

Can't do Sad very much, but I can do PARTY!

If in doubt, get the heels on and the drnks out! Grin

Hope it works...
