lou Spotting in early preg is common but not normal. Any bleeding should be checked out. This is not a CP as you are past the date of expected period and had positive tests, so you are officially pregnant.

IME, GP will refer you to EPU but more often than not you DO need the referral. At this stage you wouldn't be able to see anything on a scan, I think they would even struggle with vagainal scan but they may monitor your hormone levels over 24/48 hrs.

Please do try and get seen by someone, being stressed and worried wo't help you and it's not good for the baby.

Lots of hugs and hand holding for you. xx

BEWITCHEDnod · 18/10/2010 19:06

Oh Lou - just popped in to say keeping fingers crossed for a sticky bean. Hope you're ok lovely? x x

Loujalou · 18/10/2010 19:15

Doctor said I probably wouldn't get a scan til 6 weeks. So got to keep the faith except I am in pieces. Sorry this is probably not the board to write it on but not sure what to do.

Doc said it could be something innocent but might be the start of a mc. Is very light bleeding. Not sure if I am going to make it through the week. Well I will but time has stopped still.

Oh sweetheart :( :( :( I don't know what to say, I know how longed for this little bean is. Lots of people do have bleeding in early pg and carry to term so will keep hoping and hoping that you are one of them.

Sending enormous hugs and a huge bar of dairy milk x x x

Loujalou · 18/10/2010 22:19

harassedinherpants · 19/10/2010 09:50

How are you doing this morning Lou? Keep the PMA going, sending you some more! x

Loujalou · 19/10/2010 10:10

No more blood stuff just light pink mucus. Not heard from the doctors yet. If I was having a mc I would have expected more blood. We will see...... PMA ok today.

BEWITCHEDnod · 19/10/2010 19:07

Fairygodmother1 · 19/10/2010 19:39

How you doing Lou? PMA is the way to go? Fancy a swig of Diamond White to steady your nerves or a large slice of chocolate b'day cake???? [hsmile]

Loujalou · 20/10/2010 10:08

[Nicks all the birthday cake and runs]

No proper blood since Monday just this light brown discharge which when I googled seemed much better than the red stuff from Monday. No cramps that is a good thing and have got a scan for next Tuesday, so fingers crossed they find a baby and not just a fat tummy.

How are all the rest of you??

xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 20/10/2010 22:08

Thats good news about the scan. When my sister bled with both of hers they said that the brown stuff was old blood and sometimes they can't even tell where from! Fingers crossed hon xxx

Loujalou · 21/10/2010 08:39

There has only been a tiny tiny amount so have got my fingers crossed too. Got a wedding this weekend so that should provide some distraction.

harassedinherpants · 21/10/2010 11:53

Hmmm I posted last night!! Wonder what happened Hmm.

Sounding good Lou. Fingers x'd for you.

I wasn't in work yesterday, but got and clean for my parents. Had the afternoon to myself as my friend picked dd up and took her back to hers. Was bliss!!! I watched v+'d criminal minds, did my knitting and ate chocolate Smile. Dd was a right mare when we picked her up, and screamed all the way home. Dh asked why on earth we're ttc, and I did wonder too Wink.

CD14 for me, so (taking Lou's pma lead) thinking ovulation/ implantation happy thoughts!!

Fairygodmother1 · 21/10/2010 19:18

Thats good Lou It's my party this weekend so I'm hugely excited!!!!!

I'm finally feeling 'normal' with a period thats only lasted a normal week!!! Yay!!!!

BEWITCHEDnod · 21/10/2010 20:28

Fairy yay for normal period Grin

Pants we're nearly cycle buddies Grin

NOTHEROLDIE · 22/10/2010 08:26

Help ladies!!

I had a lot of pink mucus when I went to the loo this morning.... what does it mean..... I'm freaking out, cos this is the kind of thing that happened last time (tho that was brown sludge, this is just pinky-red) :(

I'm 7wk+6 have got a scan booked for a week sat, please tell me its going to be ok.....

Loujalou · 22/10/2010 08:31

Hey sweetie. Am having the same thing and no mc yet and am sure I did last time - when I had DS! Get a doctors appointment today and they might be able to refer you to EPU. I think things like this can be in the words of my doctor quite "innocent" but they do take it seriously and if you are that fat on you can have a scan - possibly today. At least you can relax a bit at the weekend!

Do it! xxxx

OP posts:
Loujalou · 22/10/2010 08:32

Far on not FAT!

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 22/10/2010 08:38

thanks LOU, I'm so p*ssed off it might be the same as last time (I still havent had anyPG symptoms,in fact feel better than ever Confused )

Hope things go smoothly for you... my nerves cant take it!

p.s. liked the fat comment, because its quite true . :)

Loujalou · 22/10/2010 08:41

Go to the doctors .

I did and have got a scan at 6 weeks (Tuesday) my nerves can't take me and you going through this. I have had no cramps but am still going dollally. This did happen last time. In fact last time I had a proper bleed and DS is fine and it didn't do any harm. Lia did say cramps were a bad thing, so I haven't got those and no pain. Feel a bit sicky some times and certain smells make me cringe. Also, I can't bear the thought of eating breakfast and ribena a bit bitter. So maybe these are early symptoms.

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 22/10/2010 08:46

Good luck LOU, I have to go to school now, will ring GP later.

Thanks for holding my hand! xxx

harassedinherWITCHYpants · 22/10/2010 09:38

NOTHEROLDIE · 22/10/2010 12:39
