Last year ds3 wanted a 'bulb of the moon' and a whistle on a string. This year he wants a dsi and a hat (thats it). Ds1 would like 5000 pounds among other things.

OP posts:

DD (4) wants an older brother called Max ....

ilikemrclooney · 14/12/2009 19:49

DS (3) has asked for naughty spoon by which he means that terrifying spoon baddie in Number Jacks. He also wants some gloogly eyes (googly eye things often used by Mister Maker). I wonder if he watches too much cebeebies...

iheartdusty · 14/12/2009 20:13

JACKIEwrappingPAPER · 14/12/2009 20:59

butterscotch · 14/12/2009 21:27

Some fab ideas...my dd 2.5 would like a green dinasour like George for Peppa Pig! I hunted high and low and finally found one in TKMaxx....

UniS · 14/12/2009 21:43

DS would like firefighter. Santa did check if he meant a fire engine, but no, he wants firefighter.
And a telehandler. ( large piece of farm and construction site machinery).

He getting a toy telehandler, and some wellies.

WrigglingAndJiggling · 14/12/2009 23:17

dd1 - a christmas cracker!

junkcollector · 14/12/2009 23:19

DS2(2.5) wants 'A biscuit'. that was it...he hasn't specified what kind.

cloudspotter · 14/12/2009 23:45

Absolutely love this thread. Too many to mention except bentneck's 'real rainbow' which both my girls have wanted in their time. And MissGreatBritain's 'whole tin of strawberries' - how wonderful!

dd1 at 6 has asked for a 'surprise', which completely thrilled me. Well, having already told me in confidence her 'top 10' of xmas presents. At least I can't go wrong?

dd2 at 3, and this is the best age IMO, has asked for 'liquid' which means bubble bath. 'ducks' - I presume for the bath. 'one white duck' - not sure whether this fits into item 2? Oh yes, and a real rainbow.

Quattrocento · 14/12/2009 23:51

DD's list included (note included, but not as main present)

A bose Iphone dock/speakers

Dutifully, I started shopping for same. Discovered that these bose thingies start at £300

She is taking the piss, isn't she?

mumblecrumble · 15/12/2009 00:03

I like Mr Clooney Our DD wants a spooky spoon too....

muminthecity · 15/12/2009 00:47

My DD has asked for a JLS CD, Lady Gaga CD, Lily Allen CD and Girls Aloud CD. That's all. She's 4 by the way!

ADingDongDandyChristmasLioness · 15/12/2009 02:00

DD (4) has asked for:

  • a hello kitty pencil case
  • a skateboard
  • a real star

At least her list is more cheerful than last year's wishlist, when she only asked for one thing: a gun.

Bathsheba · 15/12/2009 05:40

DD2 (ages 3) has asked for

A Dolphin

and

A Wiggle Waggle.

We have worked out, through military interrogation gentle questioning that a cuddly dolphin will do instead of a real one..

When we probe ask her gently what a Wiggle Waggle is, she just stands there, giggling, waggling her bum...

We don't know how to wrap that...

NormaSknockers · 15/12/2009 08:34

DD (3) has asked for a bike (half price in the Halfords sale so she's getting that)

a table

a princess seat??

Hope the fact that she's got a bike will make her forget the other things she asked for!

DS is 16 months & doesn't say anything apart from 'gung' which is his word for everything - we asked DD what she thought DS would like from the big FC & she said 'a chair' [hgrin]

NormaSknockers · 15/12/2009 08:37

...

kreecherlivesupstairs · 15/12/2009 08:45

My dd astonishingly still believes in the man and she's 8.7 - this year she has asked for an invisibilty cloak, a real magic wand and a nimbus 2000 broomstick. In reality she is getting a portable dvd player and other assorted tat. Her most unrealistic request was a jar of cat's eyes. I don't know whether she meant the lights in the road or the organs of sight for felines. I never asked.

FimbleHobbs · 15/12/2009 09:34

DD (3) has asked for: a horse, but not one that goes in the garden!

PurpleLostPrincess · 15/12/2009 09:40

A couple of years ago, DD1 did a detailed list of items from argos - catalogue numbers, prices and page numbers and everything! At the end of the list, she put - 'for more information, please visit www.argos.co.uk' Bless her lol!!

PurpleLostPrincess · 15/12/2009 09:41

Oh, and now she's 11, she keeps asking for a full sized ferris wheel to go in the garden

schroeder · 15/12/2009 09:46

When i was little i asked for a packet of chewing gum. My dd has asked this year for a box of readybrek!

Lancelottie · 15/12/2009 09:56

Umm, Kreecher, could she mean a jar of bullseyes?

MaMight · 15/12/2009 10:37

Dd(3) poured over the ELC catalogue before politely requesting
"This one please"
But dd, you already have a bicycle.
"Not the bicycle mummy, that little sister riding it. Shall we call her Holly?"

OhForASilentNight · 15/12/2009 10:44

DD (3) would like a pink monster. I questioned her thinking it may be from a telly program I'd not seen to be told "its an idea in my head mummy"... It seems to change appearance regularly too according to what kind of day she is having (friendly monster, fierce monster, cuddly monster)

pollywobblebauble · 15/12/2009 11:31

ADingDongDandyXmas, have just spat hot choc on my keyboard
