Thought it would be handy to start a thread!!!

You should all get an ID number for parcels, so please quote it in your thanks (you can name change ) to make life easier for people checking their parcels have been received!

for Christmas Spirit!

should it perhaps be a sticky so that people who have been nominated and want to post can find it easily???? (and for givers to be able to read too) (and the rest of us to get warm fuzzy feelings at how lovely MN is)

ChiefElf · 08/12/2008 16:45

Already have a thread about the appeal stickied FAQ, and there is a link in that OP to this thread.

Don't want to annoy MNHQ by asking again

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 08/12/2008 16:47

then I shall annoy them and ask them then

I wouldn't have seen the link in the other thread - as I've not looked at it for ages.

If it comes down to a choice, I would rather the other one be stickied for now but I have no problem with both of them going up there (I'm just not doing the asking!)

NotTooTiredForChristmas · 08/12/2008 18:05

LL - Very naughty indeed - don't you know Santa won't come if you open your presents before Christmas .

flamesparrow · 08/12/2008 19:35

I am still on a yellow tick (I hope!!) - will be sorting on Thursday

You are a sweetheart. Thanks so much for the voucher which I shall put to great use buying tasty grub (will try not to buy gorgeous cheeses just for me!)

I wish you and yours a fab Christmas and a peaceful New Year. xxxxx

Thank you very much indeed.

Thankyou thankyou thankyou so much, you are a wonderful and kind person.

Amongst the usual junk mail and bills I today recieved our first christmas card and a voucher for Asda. I hope you don't mind but I will use it to buy my DC some much needed new pj's to open on christmas eve and no doubt a fair few stocking fillers. What a clever place to get a voucher for, I can get sooo much with it.

Now I'm in tears again. You have made my family very happy.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 09/12/2008 14:01

Thank you so much for the pamper treats; I will spend some quality time on myself for once! It is amazing how it feels having someone think of just me!

Merry Christmas and loads of good cheer being sent your way!

rislip · 10/12/2008 14:15

1003 - so glad it arrived ok. Definitely squeeze a nice cheese in just for you! Merry Christmas. x

BexieID · 10/12/2008 15:42

I finally sent my bundle of goodies today! Tom made the huge queue of people behind me laugh when he decided to knock over the huge display of kitchen roll in the Co-Op. He somehow managed to do it in bits from his buggy, lol. A member of staff picked them up for me and moved the buggy .

blushingm · 10/12/2008 16:31

me too Bexie!!! I just hope it arrives safely - it was a bit of an odd shape

magnolia74 · 10/12/2008 16:58

Stg...Sorry got delayed sending my goodies to you (Crashed the car ) Will be posting them tomorrow

magnolia74 · 10/12/2008 16:58

Thank you thank you thank you for my thoughtful gift of DVD's - all my favourites, which I shall force DH to sit and watch all the way through with me

You have made my day so much brighter and better. When we are back on our feet again I shall certainly be reciprocating for others who find themselves in a similar situation, because I now know for myself how touching receiving a gift from a stranger is, and how it can make you smile till your face aches

Faith in the world - restored!

ClausImWorthIt · 10/12/2008 19:31

It was an absolute pleasure and I hope you enjoy them - and that you can persuade your DH to sit through them as well!
