If anyone is wavering on Starfish because of the £5 postage, they sent me a free postage code after I left something in my basket - LOYALCUSTOMERSHIPPINGCODE

(Yes, it did nudge me to buy it 😅)

Puffalicious · 19/09/2026 23:46

Thanks for the Stripe & Stare tip. I'd never heard of them, but the reviews are off the scale. I've ordered the multi-pack for me, 2 pairs for DNiece & a pair of men's boxers for one of my DS to try. The 10% code worked on sale & took me under the £50 limit for free postage, but it didn't charge it. Great news, as it's £4.90 postage.

Can I ask how you did this? It won't apply EARLYBIRD as if you buy 3 of the same items it automatically takes 20% off, thus making the code not valid, so it's £37.20 + delivery for me. Can you share the workaround? Thanks!

Of course, no problem.

As you said, adding 3 of them gave 20% off, taking the price down to £37.20. I got a 15% discount for signing up for emails, so applying the code BAUFAMILY15 at the Coupon Code bit at checkout took it down to £30.22. Delivery is free over £25.

Hope that works for you, it's a great saving.

Crocs slippers were an unexpectedly HUGE hit with DS2 last year. He was 18 & a pain to buy for as he's so ruddy fussy. He's worn them loads, as well as the bargainous Levi's jacket from last year's thread. They're £35 instead of £50 in certain colours direct from Crocs.

Thanks for this 🙂. Extra 10% off the sale with a bluelight card too!

It does apply the EARLYBIRD if you buy the seasonal ones (As its a Christmas gift offer) but 20% off over three on other items.

Also worth noting that the 3 for 2 covers the St Eval advent calendar.

It's great that either way (by stacking the 20% off with the new customer code) or the EARLYBIRD discount code on the christmassy tins, you are essentially getting one candle tin free. Plus I love a company that does free delivery without having to spend crazy amounts.

Do you happen to know if these have got decent grip on the soles? Nothing worse than slippy slippers, especially when walking down stairs!

Hello everyone.
First time here but I'm looking for some suggestions if possible for a small gift for my son's partner's granddaughter. I don't know the family that well but they are joining us for Christmas again this year so I need to get her a token present.
She is 7 years old.
Last year I bought her a little set of wash-off-able (??!) nail varnishes and nail stickers in a cute little case. I never heard back if this had been approved of or not. I'm looking to spend really no more than £8-10.
Any suggestions will be most gratefully received, I haven't a clue where to start!

How about a bracelet making kit like this: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7411276

Also got my daughter's friend a Spirograph set, currently £9.99 in Smyth's Toys, which went down very well.

Thank you for this! I had missed all the previous replies about Starfish and just used the free postage code to buy a beautiful pair of earrings for a friend who will be joining us on Christmas Day. I’m really pleased.

FYI for the code to work I had to create an account and then apply the code whilst signed in.

Ceejadess · 20/09/2026 08:44

hby9628 · 20/09/2026 08:46

Thanks for the croc slippers. Definitely going to order for the kids. I can’t get the 10% code to work though. Anyone else having problems?

I’m not sure I was debating getting them for DS but never bought them before! Hopefully someone else will know 😊

Robyn101 · 20/09/2026 09:40

These are the soles of the crocs, the lettering is a little rubbery but I wouldn’t say the grippiest of things.

Hi,

CODE: THANKYOU gives a discount on Starfish Project purchases.

However, before purchasing, please be aware that the project seems to be closing down at the end of September and there is a statement on the site that says all sales are therefore final:

All orders placed are final. We are unable to accept voluntary returns, exchanges, or change-of-mind refunds. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed items remain unaffected prior to our final closure date of September 30, 2026.

Thank you for this, just ordered 8 items and the code worked, what a wonderful cause!

RunningKatie · 20/09/2026 10:11

I've had an email from Fahlo, 3 trackers for £25. Code is FALL3
I know they are loved and hated in equal measure but we've always had success with them, and when trackers have stopped we've got a new animal to track fairly quickly.

Sunshineandgrapefruit · 20/09/2026 10:19

Thanks for crocs and st eval candle code. Amazing 😍

tootsnwoocake · 20/09/2026 10:22
