Thread 2 - the one where I try to get organised

[Reastie]

Hope I'm not tempting fate with that thread title
This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

You are all wonderful and I’m now going back to my mince pie and stollen (never too early!).

Does anyone have a student discount code for schuh please!!

If you add 4 to your basket the £5 per pair comes off and a further discount!

Finally joining this years thread, obviously a little late to the party. I did read a few posts on the prequel but wasn’t in Christmas mode.
I have bought a few bits for Christmas gifts already, mainly beauty things, some candles and fancy hand washes.

I’m absolutely kicking myself as I started reading early today and loved the ‘bouquet in a book’ idea, I’ve now finally sat down properly to check out my Amazon basket (also with the head torched & Spider-Man colouring book - thanks!) and the book has jumped up to £14 🙈 I wanted to buy a few as well. I’m going to have to stalk it now and hope it comes back down.

@sillygoof I love that little basket, it’s right up my street so will be trying to get some of these for gifts!

Apologies if already posted, I’m struggling to keep up!

I’m very grateful to all previous posters, I’ve now finished my toddler’s Christmas and I haven’t paid full price for a single thing!

Just my look site had some really good priced beauty items - some were called steal of the month - for example Marc Jacobs 100ml gift set £59.99 and Hugo boss 100ml gift set £44.99. There was a hair curler for £25, some Korean skin care too. I haven’t yet ordered anything but I think the site is highly recommended. I’ve been looking at their Kerastase range - very good discounts too.

I must have missed this ! Can you send a link please ? X

I first found these threads last year and have been a bit of a lurker. So far this year it's either saved me loads of money or cost me loads of money depending on how you look at it 😂

My contribution is that Amazon currently have absolutely amazing discounts on Playmobil Sky Trails Amazon Playmobil Sky Trails

I managed to get the starter kit and a couple of expansion sets for around £28 when the starter kit alone is £69.99 RRP!

Brilliant I'm so glad. Not been on myself yet 🫣, it was an email I got this morning. Too busy! I'll try jiggling it too as thr tins have gone WAY up in recent years.

And apologies @rainbowwarrior for the typo, again too busy!!!

Just ordered 7 presents from Starfish. Delighted. And THANKYOU got me an extra bit off 👏👏👏

Thanks to those who posted.

British boxers have a decent sale on. They sell bamboo pjs underwear etc for both men and women and currently have an extra 20% off sale prices with the code SEPTEMBER20

Just got these noise cancelling headphones, reduced from £109.99 to £32.99. The reviews seem really good.

It may have been these @Newstart3?

Crocs slippers were an unexpectedly HUGE hit with DS2 last year. He was 18 & a pain to buy for as he's so ruddy fussy. He's worn them loads, as well as the bargainous Levi's jacket from last year's thread. They're £35 instead of £50 in certain colours direct from Crocs.

Brilliant. Have just ordered the black for £29.99 for DS1 who has presently been huffing as his super £££ ones aren't working! These will do for him off travelling in January- if these get lost/broken it's not such a drama. Brilliant, thanks.

Can I ask how you did this? It won't apply EARLYBIRD as if you buy 3 of the same items it automatically takes 20% off, thus making the code not valid, so it's £37.20 + delivery for me. Can you share the workaround? Thanks!

Recommendations for kids bath bombs please.

Also, is Lush the only place that does Minecraft themed ones? I would love to support small local businesses.

I love this thread. You are all amazing at finding beautiful things!!

Thanks so so much, just bought ds 17 the black crocs slippers, I’ve been looking for some that’ll fit his huge feet for ages!!

B&M have some Minecraft bath bombs and bath crème. I bought a box of four the other day.

Obviously not a small business but a bargain!

Brilliant! They are SO comfy. I too have a long limbed, large footed son, well I have 3, but he's the longest! I hope your one loves them.

Edited to say that I'm laughing here as mine just came lopping into the kitchen in said slippers. We're in Scotland & it's slipper weather already here. He does have shorts on though, those will stay all year 🫣

Amazing! Thank you!

Oh I love that spray! Smells gorgeous and I sleep so much better when I use it

I know that there is a lot of love for Whistlefish on here but I have heard a number of rumours that they don't treat their artists well and accusations of ripping other peoples designs. www.facebook.com/100063442191021/posts/2266430563505390/?mibextid=wwXIfr&rdid=kvkZ7wfWh2wOs3MZ

15% off with baby wishlist too, going to pick some up for my eldest - thanks!

I have not used them since finding out about this - I think someone posted last year or possibly even the year before.
