The ‘bouquet in a book’ suggested on the previous thread is so lovely! Mine arrived yesterday, and I’ve ordered another two as it will make a great gift. I bought some mini hot glue guns for £2.99 each in b&m, and a pack of mini vases for £4.99 in there. I’ll package them up with a book, vase and glue set and it will look like a lot more than £10ish each 🙂

One tip I have is to sign up to the mailing lists for any makers you might buy from. Sometimes they offer free postage or a small discount, but for me the best thing some mention is sending you a link just before the event starts so you can access their sale an hour or so early or even the evening before. That can be when the best bargains sell out.

Does anyone have any knowledge of clickeez? They are suddenly being talked about alot here, I've looked at them and the price for the keyboard is £30, seems extortionate. Are they worth the price, is there any discounts?

My child loved them a few months ago, they rarely get played with now, it’s just a psychological ploy to buy the collection. The keyring style is the most played with here, the keyboard is just clutter! I’d suggest Vinted rather than new, and don’t get caught up in the hype of what’s rare, if you are a money saver.

I need to get off this thread today, as I've just bought some Knoops hot chocolate and honeycomb to try (as a long time velvetiser user). 🤭 The 15% code does stack. And the honeycomb is 20% off too. Happy early birthday to me...

Earlier today I posted about Closure London deals over on the referrals board but worth sharing here too in case anyone buying for teens.

It is a brilliant website for anyone looking for smart casual wear for teens which is reasonably priced but looks good.

My son is a tall 14 year old and loves their open hem joggers which are available from about £21 depending on the colour. They are proper thick jersey which look great and will be good for winter.

This week I’ve bought some ladies wear for my 13yo daughter - there are some very cheap coords available in the outlet section which have gone down really well in size 6.

If you click on the outlet section there’s are tons of men’s and women’s t shirts, shorts, caps, trousers, hoodies and other sportswear from £7.99. There’s also some great jackets massively reduced to only £16.99.

A friend recommended this site and everything we’ve got so far has been great quality. I had a minor issue with a defect on one item (a t shirt in a shorts and t shirt training kit) and customer service was brilliant - they sent a full replacement immediately without asking for the original item to be returned and it arrived the next day.

Anyway, a long way to say I really recommend this site for nice but not heavily branded sports and casual wear for teens.

Seems to only be for the variety box. 10 sachets. But as a newbie to it I thought it was a good place to start, to see what % I prefer.

I recommend Story Cubes or the game Dobble. Both of them have the classic/original versions and also other variations - I suggested getting other variations in case they have already got those. Great fun and lots of play value. Bought them as token gifts for young children we buy for.

Colouring books can be a hit at any age, my teens still love them. As long as it’s not babyish. Also make sure you have decent colouring pencils/pens to go with it.

For £8-10 you can stock up on novelty notebooks and with a selection of pens, anything fluffy, fidgety, squishy types from home bargains.

Squishes in general are a big hit with kids.

Bracelet making kits are also a great idea too. I’d get one off Amazon rather than a shop as there is a better selection.
