Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I ordered some flowers for delivery today, but looks like they are still out for delivery, anyone else still waiting? My main concerns are that my mum probably won't answer the door once it's past 9pm as she'll be in bed, and also if the flowers are left until Monday they won't be in the best condition, I didn't even want them delivered today but that was the only option available.😬

Just spotted this on wowcher, it's a deans hamper with nice tins, but not sure how it compares exactly to the black friday deal, but I think its quite similar contents?

My £6 photo canvas arrived today and I'm really chuffed with it (moving next year so it can go up in the new house 😁) so thank you to the poster who found that!

My mum's Flying Flowers arrived this afternoon. Left in her safe place, but the photo was 'unavailable' . Luckily she got home soon after as her safe place isn't really very safe! They look beautiful in the photo she sent me, and she (seems) is very happy.

I sent the same mixed colour bunch to my friend. Hopefully it’s as lovely as yours are!
I sent the white bunch to my auntie and having seen it I’m a bit miffed. Mostly yellow daisies, 3 white roses and all quite battered.

@SugarIsHardtoAvoid sounds the same as the bunch I ordered, nowhere near as nice as the coloured ones on here! Perhaps we were unlucky but some of the greenery was brown and was full of mostly daisies with half the petals missing …

Does anyone know if fatface do discount codes other than 10% off first order? Also when do they start their sale? I’m after some pj bottoms (the whale ones) but can’t justify the price.
