Posting on behalf of @reastie hope you don’t mind 🎄 🎅

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.
It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.
Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!
@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps
A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:
It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
No affiliate links
No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
Be nice or leave
If you have any voucher codes to share (or want to check for any) then have a look https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212144-sharing-voucher-codes
The current referral thread for sharing referral codes here . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.
To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk
Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)
So starhellostar would look like this.
hello
Obviously use the * not the word star
Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work
Stock informer is a handy site ^http://www.stockinformer.co.uk/default.aspx?fullsite=1^

I would also recommend the Pringle bralettes that are currently 30% off on there and stack with the 10% off. Recently changed to bralettes instead of underwired bras as I found they were irritating me and these ones are comfy whilst supportive 😊

The matching thongs are also comfy and flattering

I read this and wasn't sure if it was a new type of pringle holder or a bra made from pringles. Either sounds unsuited to the task!! 😂

@Wigglewoowoo
I just found an extra pack of buttermilk crackers in the packaging too! So this tray was £50 in theory but if you are a new customer to Laithwaite's there are codes on the referral thread to get £40 off and £80 first spend. I got this, a wooden box of wine with chutney and 2 cheeses and an extra red wine for £42. Think delivery was included in the end

hby9628 · 11/12/2024 08:51

I'm really trying not to twitch.

Last night I popped to smyths & twitched on massive squishmallows (no regrets)
Now trying to avoid B&M & the sock crackers

Must remind myself I'm done, I've spent more than I intended but we've had a crappy year so I'm also battling with the sod it side of my brain! 🙏

Bippityboppitybooo · 11/12/2024 08:54

@hby9628 I've twitched too 😬 This bad boy massively dropped in price again and ds will absolutely love him...

Beat the parents is currently down to £3.97 on Amazon. X

hby9628 · 11/12/2024 08:58

@Bippityboppitybooo a justified twitch I would say

Bippityboppitybooo · 11/12/2024 09:00

@hby9628 I wrapped the giant squishmallows yesterday 🤣

MamaClausToTheRescue · 11/12/2024 09:03

Thanks for the toothbrush tip. Just got it for less than £20 thanks to the code and using a voucher I bought through topcashback the other day when they were doing a bonus £2 cashback on a £10 spend 😍

I went on thinking the bralettes would be perfect for dd who is obsessed with pringles! Then realised it was a brand not the crisps 🙈

On another note claires are really annoying! I placed orders on black Friday for dds friends gifts but now its cheaper as everything is 50% off rather than the buy 3 get 3 free! And they missed an item in the delivery 😡

rhubarbhandsoap · 11/12/2024 09:11

Remy Martin has been mentioned on here as a popular gift, it’s 25% off on Amazon, various sizes…

Haha oh gosh perhaps I should have specified that Pringle is the brand name 😂🙈

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads - sadly it was actual gifts to arrive at my house for DH, not cards, and they didn’t arrive. I just completely forgot about them 🙈 Oh well, I clearly wasn’t bothered at the time😹

Could anyone please tell me if the womens loungewear bottoms from sock shop are particularly long? I'm 5ft 3 so sometimes trousers are way too long and i don't really want them dragging on the floor. Thank you!

Isittimeformetosleep · 11/12/2024 09:49

Noticed this Sink and sand game reduced to £6.99 limited time deal. No idea what its like!

I'm 5ft 1 and they aren't way too long on me - not tripping over them like some!

Bippityboppitybooo · 11/12/2024 10:27

I’m about 5ft2/3 and they aren’t really long. Fit me just about right
