For anyone looking for any cheap and cheerful advent calendars, just picked up some of these for 25p each in Poundland. Date is June 2025.

Yep they’re empty so you need something to fill them - we used several bags of pre-wrapped sweets. You’ll also need somewhere to tie it up (or someone brave to hold it!) and something to hit it with.

Really impressed with the items in the boots free make up gift!! 💝

@Babynumberthreeee they had some little sets in my tk maxx but no where near as cheap. I got some (we already have 2 mini sets but they’re SO great for holidays/taking to restaurants that I wanted more!) and I got an extra pack in case you want them. ZERO pressure as will give them to my nephew for Christmas if you don’t want them!

Any recommendations for mini thermal printers please? Assume to those who have gifted before that they are well liked?

On a related note:

Whilst in TKMaxx today I saw the following items, in case anyone is interested:

Not bargainous as such, but there was loads of cute Halloween stuff such as throws, tea towels and decorations.

Elsewhere in store, there were lots of empty shelves and whole sections of the shop were bare - I think the Xmas stuff is about to land…
