A lot of the Studio items are available at sports direct for the same price. It’s still £4.99 delivery but think you can also do click & collect for £4.99 & then get a voucher for the same value to spend in store

LostMyRubySlippers · 17/08/2024 09:58

Can also get cashback if you use sports direct instead

Tereseta · 17/08/2024 10:01

Studio is basically Freemans so their stuff is on there and for cheaper postage.

D20 · 17/08/2024 10:04

I thought they were sports direct now? Is freemans part of that group too? I can’t stand MA so will avoid both in future lol.

psuedocream3 · 17/08/2024 10:25

No, it's Fraser Group - formely Sports Direct Group. It includes House of Fraser, Sports Direct, Game, Jack Wills, GAME, Flannels, USC, Evans Cycles, Matches Fashion, and bespoke tailors Gieves & Hawkes. I'm sure there are a few more. They also own part of Asos

They all sell the same but only Studio have had further discounts on sale toys which is why I posted about Studio deals, rather than the others.

To be honest £4.99 delivery is annoying if you don't like paying delivery costs, but the deep discounts still make it worth the cost.

This is a pretty good deal for anyone with a small child- Barbie and Ken set for £16.49.

Be grateful if anyone shouts if they see some wooden cutting food. My 2 year old has really taken to cutting a little wooden pizza we have. The rest of the toy food we have is plastic, donated from a neighbour who had outgrown it (plus we've had it all for 6 years!), and is getting rather worn and tatty. I'd love to replace what I can although the Melissa and Doug stuff looks £££!! Surprisingly it's still quite pricey on vinted too.

Just seen this on the Range website.

Due to an accident, (thank you DD🙄), I need to buy a new Samsung TV. Would anyone be kind enough to send me an Argos code please? Spend is going to be approximately £200.

I've got a £5 off voucher if you still need it?

SomethingOfTheNight · 17/08/2024 16:43

Yes please @Yeahas

Does anyone have an Argos code please? I am about to spend £900 and a bit gutted I have been unable to find a discount code for it 🙏🏻

Clucket87 · 17/08/2024 17:41

Can't remember who I was as that as after wooden toys.

Just seen this in clearance at argos

Clucket87 · 17/08/2024 18:37

The Amazon Kids Kindle Fire 8 is down to £69.99 which is the longest price it's been according to camelcamelcamel. It's the one for 3-7 year olds.

Has anybody ever brought something like this this early? Is it any good for a nearly 4 year old?

It would be a Xmas present for my little boy (and saves him stealing mine whilst getting ready for nursery). So just a little anxious and just had surgery a few hours ago so the anaesthetic is still making it's presence know ! Xx

Janetstreetwater · 17/08/2024 19:02

I have a £7 off £75 Argos code if anyone would like it

I've just bought this from John Lewis for the same price. It's a good deal I think.

We had these for this age, and for elderly relative with dementia and in my opinion they aren’t great.

If you can stretch to a reconditioned iPad I would definitely do that- the user interface is so much easier to understand and just seems to work more intuitively.

Both child and relative get on much better with iPads (and I get a lot less “mummy it won’t work!”)
