Wireless earbuds in white are £15.99 with the £3 voucher applied. They also have them in rose gold for £15.83 with the 10% off voucher applied. I don't know if they're any good but the reviews are positive.

watchuswreckthemic · 16/08/2024 15:33

Sharing here with people who get it that next week whilst my kids are on holiday with their dad that I can get everything out of its hiding positions and actually check what I've bought!
The tiger who came to tea jigsaw books arrived today and they are lovely so thanks to whoever shared the link!

Have had deliveries today for the Squishmallow from Studio and the Whack'a'mole from Amazon. Very pleased. I feel like I'm making good progress with Christmas and birthday present shopping.

Be grateful if anyone shouts if they see some wooden cutting food. My 2 year old has really taken to cutting a little wooden pizza we have. The rest of the toy food we have is plastic, donated from a neighbour who had outgrown it (plus we've had it all for 6 years!), and is getting rather worn and tatty. I'd love to replace what I can although the Melissa and Doug stuff looks £££!! Surprisingly it's still quite pricey on vinted too.

Have you looked on Marketplace too? There's often lots of these being sold on Marketplace around where I live. Maybe set up a camel alert for the ones you see on Amazon you like.

There's this set from The Works but think it's plastic rather than wooden. There's this set from Argos too.

Don't either Aldi or Lidl normally have a wooden toy sale between now and Xmas? They normally have wooden food in that (unless.my memory serves me wrong)

Blixem · 16/08/2024 18:22

We've got lots of wooden food from Jaques of London, it's lasted really well and been played with lots. They have a sale on at the moment too.

Just a warning on Lottie Brook books / yoto cards, they cover boyfriends, periods, snogging and talk about Father Christmas not being real, they are amazing books and both DDs love them but when DD was 8 she still believed.

Thank you for the warning, I think I'll hold those back for a bit longer, not ready to ruin Christmas! Thankfully i bought a few cards (worst witch, my teachers an alien, diary of a wimpy kid)

Stompythedinosaur · 16/08/2024 18:46

I got some nice reduced Christmas cards from Oxfam today, they have a few different designs reduce to £1 a pack.

Studio! I got some lovely wooden pieces from as little as £5 in their sale, the biscuit box is adorable.

QueenOfWeeds · 16/08/2024 20:02

Quite a lot of stuff in the Dunelm clearance - couldn’t find a tab for it, but was going to buy something for DD and it came up as 50% off, so I searched “clearance” in the main search box. Not hugely festive but useful for towels etc.

HelloItsMeAgainHello · 16/08/2024 21:08

I second the recommendation of the studio wooden biscuit tin. We also used stickers to personalise it

MaybeItsJustTimeToStop · 16/08/2024 21:28

@Buildabearbunny would an address blocker fit in?

Givealittlebit · 16/08/2024 22:44

Are everyone's studio bargains just from sifting through the sale stuff? Not finding the website overly easy to navigate

MilkyBadBoy · 16/08/2024 22:53

@Givealittlebit yep, you wait til you get to the P&P… I abandoned a whole basket when I realised they wanted £19.99 for delivery! Grrr…

Kinda. I just had a search through the toys and games and food gifts stuff. Then also typed Christmas into the search. So didn't take me too long to find the bargains that I was actually interested in.

Oh my goodness. What did you have in your basket? I paid £4.99 for p&p and thought I ordered a lot.

MilkyBadBoy · 17/08/2024 07:06

@InDreamland a Peppa pig supermarket set. Not even that big, I don’t think, but oversized apparently…

Clucket87 · 17/08/2024 07:41

Just had the email to pre-order the Bonne Manan advent calendar. Xx

Due to an accident, (thank you DD🙄), I need to buy a new Samsung TV. Would anyone be kind enough to send me an Argos code please? Spend is going to be approximately £200.

If you buy from Currys, there's 15% back on TopCashback on selected Samsung tvs and 5% on others.
