I've asked for the previous image to be removed as it has some identifying details on it. Here's a clipped photo of sewing machine discussed earlier.

Lots of bargains on WH Smith - reduced Playmobil, Sylvanian, Schleich etc

Plus EARLY20 will take an extra 20% off sale prices if basket total is over £30. Free Delivery too.

Picked up quite a few things to put away for Christmas and endless kids parties

ArthriticAardvark · 14/06/2024 09:25

@RainbowZebraWarrior thank you I’ll take a good look. I had come to the same conclusion re the small kiddie ones.

Don't touch kids sewing machines with a barge pole. The Brother LS is the best value machine you can buy. It's well under £100 and a proper machine. The kids ones are toys and they are hard tonuse and will put her off. Sorry x

I got a singer sewing machine from aldi a couple of years back, it's really good, under £100. Think it was a "special buy"

Thank you so much @psuedocream3
3 whiskeys and 3 champagne all ordered.
I only brought 2 spare champagne lol. The other 4 things do have people to go to!
Now to update that present list!

Which whiskey did you get that was in the offer?

Thank you, £75 worth of goodies for £25 with free delivery.
The particular bargains were the board games Ghosted for £4 and Tension for £10

If you are interested in clothing for presents, Landsend has an excellent sale on.
code is automatic

I just got an amazing deal on the shark pirate ship lego set from Dreamzzz on Very.

It is already £80 which is £40 cheaper than most places but by opening an account and getting 20%, I managed to get it for £67!

It is for my son's bday and I told him it was too expensive so cannot wait to see his face!

Worth a look on Very quite a bit of lego reduced.

Boots - lots of Joules items in the sale under £5

Whothefuckdoesthat · 14/06/2024 21:10

I’ve just ordered a load of stuff from www.poundfun.com. I didn’t want to recommend them until the stuff arrived, but I’ve been quite impressed. They’ve got 50% off their clearance section only, and another 5% off everything. And I think there’s another discount if you use their app.

If you’re going to do an order, look in the ‘shop by price’ section. They have free giveaways (At the moment, it’s a Star Wars blind bag which is out of stock and an Angry Birds sticker album. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but it does change often) and things for 1p. I ordered an LoL headband for 1p to go in the toy collection at Christmas. You’re limited to one per order. I think they’ve got some slime for 1p as well.

I bought a load of Thomas the Tank Engine carriages and a couple of Toy Story bits. They’ve got some other big brand toys as well, as well as lots of little bits. I think the Thomas things come from abroad; the ones in smyths are bigger and in slightly better packaging. But £4 for a metal train & £6 for a motorised train is so, so much cheaper. And the trains themselves look good quality. There’s a similar company who also have an orange logo and a similar name, but they don’t sell Thomas stuff.

WH Smith has a sale on and EXTRA20 gives an additional 20% off if you spend over £30, with free delivery, until midnight tonight. There are some board games at really good prices. Also lots of gifts like mugs, airpod cases, etc.

Thanks to a previous poster who mentioned the Books for Bugs sale. I got a ton of stuff from there, some sale and some not, but still very well priced, and it arrived the next day.

Thank you so much for this!

gardenmusic · 15/06/2024 07:13

Whistlefish has 50% off the Blue Meadows range - might be a little summer-y,
but pretty.

Lidlisthebusiness · 15/06/2024 09:40

The WHSmith sale is great, but is anyone else having issues with the website? Granted, I'm on my phone, but I can't sign in, can only view 2 items in my basket and my value is reading -£115, which I'd be more than happy to pay for the amount of things in my basket, but don't quite think its right!

hby9628 · 15/06/2024 11:30

I notice someone has mentioned Claire's. I just popped in to our local & the medium size squishmallows were included in the 3 for £10. Also some plusheen items

Does anyone know if tesco will run an offer for club card rewards? Eg vouchers worth more than double points

InDreamland · 15/06/2024 14:59

Thank you to the poster who shared the Costa gift cards offer. Ordered yesterday and they've already been delivered. I only paid the basic standard delivery charge.

TimPat · 15/06/2024 16:04

Highly recommend this little detective game reduced to £6.21. Kept my 9 year old daughter and 2 friends occupied for a good while they had fun figuring out the clues. It's easy enough for them to do independently but no so easy they get bored so it made a fab sleepover activity. The downside is once you've figured it out you can really only use each activity once but for the price it's well worth it, I've ordered two more for gifts for upcoming birthdays.

OatFlatWhiteForMe · 15/06/2024 17:35

@TimPat do you think it would be suitable for older DC/adults? Thinking to play over the Christmas holidays.

TimPat · 15/06/2024 18:09

@OatFlatWhiteForMe it would fine for adults to do with DC as a family game but probably a bit too simple for adults and teens alone, great for up to about 12 I'd say. It's in the style of a murder mystery/escape room type thing with online and physical clues but child appropriate scenarios rather than murder. We've done one as a family and DH and I enjoyed it along with the kids.

hby9628 · 15/06/2024 18:18

@TimPat that game looks great thank you. I've ordered one to go away for my 9yo DD & one for a birthday pressie for one of her friends
I've picked up a few Xmas bits today including my trip to Claire's so been productive

AFAIK Tesco don't tend to do this, they usually do offers such as earn double Clubcard points instead.
